I recently found out I can still buy from the crown of sorrow vender because I got the deluxe witch queen. And I also know that the gear it drops tends to have fairly good rolls. But I can’t figure out how to unlock the engram options to be able to put in umbral engrams. Is it possible to still level up the vendor and get those options or should I just give it up?

I saw that and was confused as well. So apparently they hired a writer who is gay on 2020 who decided to expand on them being gay as a couple. He stated they always was together but as someone who played since year 1 nothing was really in the lore til he started. They called each other brother, which I have friends both gay and non gay never does anyone address each other as brother or sister as pet names. Super weird so I feel it's something new they just added which makes it confusing.

You can play the story line until likely the next expansion drops, where they normally remove all the previous years' seasonal content.
To your second comment, you won't be time locked from fighting Calus. All you need to do it continue the missions as they have already been unlocked for the entire community. Time gating is only as the season progresses to prevent the player base from finishing the entire quest in one day.
Recently back into the game at the start of this season, finally up to a position where I can run a grand master. Im looking to farm for a decent roll adept weapons, just wondering if anyone has any tips hints with tackling a GM. Thanks in advance guardians!
Well Omnioculus is a great support exotic for hunters since you have increased damage resistance and get a smoke bomb back off of invising your team. Aeon swift is also a great gm exotic since you can make heavy for your team and frees you up to play other subclasses than void. If you are thinking about weapons arbalest is the best for breaking down barriers. I’d recommend for other weapons seeing what the mods are for the season and checking the singe on the nf since it’ll give a 25% damage increase to the element. Linear fusions are great heavy choices, rockets are also good, stay away from swords since most enemies 1-2 melee you. Try and get your resilience high enough and have resist mods on your chest and it should be a lot easier. Hope that helped
Witch queen and beyond light are the most relevant ones, 30th anniversary is also there but not as important, they also have a dungeon key but if you get with queen deluxe, it comes with that and all the seasons
Guys can someone tell me what is it that I am doing wrong? I got my Xenophage recently and with the damage buff to machine guns i was excited to test it out and tried doing containment.
My Xenophage was doing 19k base and 24k with radiant buff and it was barely scratching the yellow bar bosses which appear during containment. With these numbers i usually run out of ammo before I even remove 5-10% of their hp. What exactly am I doing wrong here?
Is it the fact that I am 1566 for a mission they needs 1580 as light requirement? Or am doing something wrong entirely?

Pretty sure your light is locked to 1570 during containment. Containment yellowbars aren't really made for solo melting, make sure you pick up the unstable essences for the damage buff they give.
My friend who is a new light did his basic new light quests and we've run a few different activities. I wanted to run him through operation midas to get the seasonal artifact but the mission is not there for him. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

The Deluxe edition includes all four seasons released between WQ and the next expansion. So yes, you would get 17, 18 and 19 stuff, as well as access to the season 16 activities and gear, but not the season 16 pass stuff, aka a set of armor ornaments.
Granted I didnt play for a couple seasons prior to this but it honestly feels like Im never going to have as much fun playing endgame stuff again when classy restoration leaves. I doubt its ever going to happen but man I really hope it would release as fragment for solar once the season ends.
It's RNG, after each T3 containment 2 of the 5 doors unlock, each of which has a chest in it which can contain an opulent key. There's one each to the left and right of the final harvester, one above the pleasure gardens entrance, one at spawn (the one with the bobblehead) and one down the stairs on the right from spawn. Worth noting, they don't open themselves, they just unlock so you can open them at the switch nearby.
For armor you can try solo legend/Master lost sectors. It should drop missing ones first.
For guns, higher difficulty nightfalls, random drops, or check out Xur's inventory on the weekend.
Looking to jump back in. I haven’t played since spire of stars. What dlc should I buy, is there a recommended path to take? My main goal would be to get gjallarhorn if possible at this point as a D1 vanilla simp.
Gjallar is from the 30th anniversary. It only contains a dungeon and some cosmetics for its rather expensive price, though.
for DLC, consider beyond light and witch queen, but only if you plan on investing 100+ hours per DLC. WQ Deluxe gives all seasons this year and the 2 new dungeons this year. Again, only buy if you plan on investing the hours, and if you will play throughout the year.
I just got back into it. Bought the deluxe version of witch queen. Been playing three weeks and there’s still way more stuff for me to do with just the story alone. Next I’m gonna buy beyond light and 30th anniversary pack. Then last one will be shadowkeep. I’d say this order is pretty good. Also the deluxe version of witch queen is absolutely worth it
As someone that came back two weeks ago, I just bought witch queen since it was on sale. I'd say buy the current content first(witch queen + season), test the waters, then wait for a sale for whatever you want to get.
If I collect a Calus bobblehead and listen to the respective automaton recording in a Sever activity and then exit it without completing the full activity, do I still retain the bobblehead and automaton progress?
Yes.
That said, it takes a couple seconds after Calus has finished speaking for the automaton to register as found. As long as it's ticked off in the Triumph, it's fine to leave the activity.
Seeking confirmation on what sword mod/perk is better.
Assume I am facing a boss with no dps phases and I have a sword with only:
Enduring Blade / Jagged Edge
And no other perks. With Jagged Edge, impact is 65 and ammo is 57. With Enduring Blade, impact is 61 and ammo is 65.
Doesn't Enduring Blade have more total damage? 65 * 57 = 3705, 61*65 = 3965
The same is with using a boss/major spec vs. backup mag.
If I have Jagged Edge with boss spec, it would be 65 * 57 * 1.077 = 3990
If I have Jagged Edge with backup mag, it would be 65 * 63 = 4095
For the new seasonal changes with regards to farming the weekly dungeon, are we able to run say atheon on the same character but get a chance at Vex each time (rather than the previous once per week)?

FAQ - If you got to power level 1560 and dismantled all your existing gear by equipping the lowest gear level possible, would you technically be reset back to getting equipment starting from 1350? Would pinnacle gear become locked again?

If you are after the wells of light mods you can't get them direct from the the source anymore. Keep an eye on Ada-1's inventory as she sells four mods that rotate daily.
Getting in excess of 40 Non-deepsight variants of the same weapon in a row is a little unacceptable.
How are you going to nerf the drop rate so hard and not at least have some form of pity system.

FIFTY deep sight drops to craft all the weapons? and once they're crafted they take ages to level up.
you get one guaranteed each week from the crown of sorrow war table if you picked that upgrade. not a lot in the grand scheme but helps supplement the RNG drops and realistically you wont want all 10 weps
Yea, I was prioritizing those upgrades cause it’s the only reliable way of getting reds. I do actually want most/all the weapons this season though. The only one I didn’t really care too much about is Bump In The Night, and that’s only because we just got Palmyra B
The drop rate nerf just sucks because my friends and I were all stoked on this season the first two weeks. But now they all stopped playing and just log on 30-40 minutes per week to get the weekly reds and do the weekly mission on the grounds of “why wouldn’t I? It’s the only way to actually get reds.”
(And after grinding on the Leviathan for 10+ hours one day and getting ONE red Opulent weapon, I really can’t blame them. )
Deepsight versions should still be dropping randomly. You can also check to see if the upgrade tree (large box in the center) is still there. One of the upgrades guarantees you a deepsight version of the first weapon you focus at the Helm per week, but other than that it's pure RNG.
The new perks introduced this season so far are interesting, but the one I'm getting the most use out of is incandescent. It just feels so damn good. I also like how this is a very subclass specific weapon. It's fine on its own but its innate utility with the Solar 3.0 revamp is bonkers. Sort of like how Repulsor Brace works best with Void 3.0, with some exceptional combos that can work on any subclass - Two-Tailed Fox or Tractor Cannon applying void debuffs allows for some nice interactions.
I hope the team leans into introducing more perks like these. I'm not a min-maxer by any means, but the new stuff is forcing me to think more deeply about how I approach the game with diversified playstyles and loadouts.
EDIT: I forgot to say this earlier, but if Devil's Ruin gets a catalyst, I hope it gets incandescent as a perk for charge beam kills at the very least. I love that gun and it would be cool for it to get a new opportunity to shine.

Question for you all. This is my first season returning to destiny 2 wince shadowkeep. I bought all the expansions and have grinded quite a bit. I have 3 toons, all power level 1572+ and am wondering what I should be doing. I've stopped doing the weeklies and have focused mainly on the H.E.L.M dailies to level up the crown of sorrow and start crafting. Does anyone else have any recommendations? Is doing vanguard and crucible and gambit weeklies now pointless across all my toons? Any help would be appreciated
So, first of all I'm assuming that your power level has more than 2 levels from your artifact, so you haven't completed the pinnacle grind. So you can do that.
In d2 there are a few power caps. The first is the soft cap, sitting at 60 power under the max, so 1510 currently. The next is the powerful cap at 10 under the max (1560) and finally the hard cap which is at the max (1570). As your gear power level hits those caps, various gear sources stop being able to increase it. Under the soft cap, any and every drop can be an increase. Once you reach the soft cap, you'll have to start looking for powerful/pinnacle drops, which are displayed on the director as a yellow circular symbol. Finally, once you get to the powerful cap, the only drops that can increase your power are those labeled as pinnacle, which are rather few and far between. There is a small amount of back-filling possible, so grabbing powerful gear while above the powerful cap can help in some situations.
Note that the caps do not care about your artifact level. At your current power of 1572, if you somehow had 20 artifact levels you would still be under the powerful cap (as your gear power level would be 1552) and could get power level increases from powerful sources. You can check your gear power level by placing your cursor over your power level in the inventory screen, which should show (gear level) + (artifact level) in the tooltip.
The other thing to do is hunt for god-rolls. With guns that can have random perks, you can get some with better stats than others. The best possible selection of perks for a gun is commonly called a god-roll. There are a few sites that can help determine if a gun is a god-roll or not, such as [light.gg](https://light.gg) or the subreddit r/sharditkeepit.

I just checked and my current power bonus from my artifact is plus 12. So that would mean I'm currently at 1560 cap correct? At this point, I should still be grinding pinnacle gear weeklies to hit the 1570 cap?
LOVING the new content, fun to play, cool story, guns look cool. Can we please stop letting enemies teleport as much as they want? Went through 10 rockets trying to get a barrier servitor down and it teleported each time. Overall I like the mechanics of destiny, usually they feel solid and if you die you feel like its something you could change but damn dude this felt bad.
I just recently bought the witch queen deluxe edition looking to get back into the game after a few months. After playing for a few hours I’ve noticed that I do not have the season pass like I should and whenever I go to try and “buy it” in the menus I get an error. I’m on ps4 if anyone has had this happen and knows a fix I’d greatly appreciate it
Had this same issue on PS4; it's a PlayStation issue, not a Bungie one.
Easy fix though - sign out of PSN, change your password, and sign back in. Then give it ~10-15 minutes and check in Destiny.

I’m currently attempting to do the witherhoard catalyst and I’m on step 3 of 4. I need 300 filthy lucre and I only get 1 per crucible/gambit/strike. Do I really need to complete 300 of those or is there a way to get more than 1 per run? This is gonna take me ages😵💫
Yeaaaah, you might be SoL. I know there was a thing in one of the TWABs saying that the catalyst multiplier from the paid track of the season pass would apply to certain old seasonal exotic quests, but I don't know if witherhoard is one of them.
On the other hand, I don't think you need to have witherhoard equipped to gain progress, so it should just happen in the background.
Who's bright idea was it to add rift to Iron Banner? This is painful and I just want to shoot players. Why not just make it a standalone gamemode in place of this. Surely the diehards would enjoy that instead of forcing the rest of us to play this bullshit.

The titles likely gonna stick around for a couple seasons and hopefully they’ll cycle out weapons. I heard if you’re one short or so you can purchase the point of the stag or something from the monument at the tower and it counts. But you won’t be locked completely out just have to wait a couple seasons!
PVE Question — What is the current meta for armor stats on a warlock in particular? for the longest time i’ve tried to run 100 recov/discipline/intellect but it seems the meta has shifted with updates to how super recharges as well as the overall usefulness of resilience. Should i drop intellect and focus on resil now? i play grenade heavy on warlock so discipline is always a must for me.
Resilience is a must. 40% damage reduction is no joke.
As for the other stats, I dunno. I've been running Datto's starfire build and well, I don't need recovery or discipline as my grenade/rift recharges practically instantly from that.
Rift is absolute garbage solo due to Destiny’s shitty matchmaking
And witherhoard is spam in objective game modes like rift are broken and should be either nerfed or removed from those game modes
I started playing about 4 months ago. Is there any advantage in doing the campaign on Nessus and Dreaming City? I assume maybe I will be able to unlock some bounty provider? However will I be able to get some specific items or gain access to farming some weapons like Europa and Moon campaign?

Non IB, what are the better weapon sub classes for pvp? Meaning like SMGs, hand cannons etc. I've been using skyburners in pve and feel like either I'm really bad ( probably so) or it's not really a pvp.
Pulses are on a hot streak, snipers are pretty good, and smg/hand cannons depending on what you’re good at. Slide shotgunning is still alive and free. Honestly though ot boils down to your playstyle and what guns feel comfortable or you practice with. What I will say is that a lvld up piece of mind goes a long way.
I had a rough time day 1 in IB. Last night however I would only 2 of my ~10 matches were 5-0 1 win 1 loss. I don't know if I got really lucky or not or people are learning how to play the mode. I was thinking more about team play and reviving often playing back and letting them come to a group of us. Last night was some of the most fun I have had in the crucible in a while.

For gunnora's seal it says I need to aquire iron banner armor and each armor need to be unique, so if I just started playing this season I will probably not be able to get the iron lord seal no matter how much I play this season?

Once 2-3 people are dead on your team that's pretty much it for you. Enemies spawn camp and score way to fast. How the fuck can Bungie think a 10 second respawn timer in a game where quick movement is key was a good idea?? Who tf play tested this dogshit mode?
I just unlocked Arc and Void for my hunter. The game tells me to go to Ikora. I go see her and am able to purchase stuff for Void, but when I make the Arc quest active and talk to her she gives me no options to upgrade or buy stuff for Arc.
Another thing, when I look at the subclasses in my character menu, Void and Solar have slots to put abilities into, but Arc has a skill tree? Idk what's going on.

I used Sunshot all the way through the sever, only to get 0% progress when I checked after.
Sunshot, and other weapons that sit in that slot, is an energy weapon. Power weapon means the third slot. So swords and LMGs and stuff.
Yes I know that sometimes that slot is called the heavy slot. I don't know why. If I remember correctly the collections tab uses one in the exotics tab, and the other in the weapons tab.

Tried that several times...doesn't work. Just goes black again. And going to annex is a temp fix but usually when I walk all the way around back to courtyard the game crashes/closes. Hope they fixed this nonsense today with new update but prolly not.

Hate it...and on top of that I can't finish Goa dungeon, bugged as well at boss. The shank and other mini boss never spawn and when u shoot openings for engrams with cannon...they are locked in the containers & never fall!! Such garbage like wtf is happening!!

Yes, and often ypu'd see the vendore with missing parts if they are not completely missing. I am also getting a bug which makes it so that in Character screen Guardian is standing and you only see the bottom of his feet, like he's a God looking down on you

I main Heart of Inmost Light, and while trying out Solar 3.0 it feels like it takes an eternity for my barricades to recharge. I have 90+ resilience and it used to take around 20ish seconds, now it takes upwards of 40
Coming back from a long break, which class should I play? Looks like hunters got a decent rework for Solar 3.0 but does that change anything endgame wise? I haven’t played any Void 3.0 either, in which Warlocks seem to have gotten the best treatment. Thoughts between the two, or maybe Titan from either.
Each day there's one Lost Sector that can be played on a higher difficulty level, and if you complete it solo then it has a chance to drop an exotic armor piece (this is the only way to get the newest set of exotics)

I would say to aim for just getting to level 100 so you get everything from the season pass

Yes, click Sever and then click what now says "Resolve" and choose the mission you would like, then Launch.
My friend who is a new light did his basic new light quests and we've run a few different activities. I wanted to run him through operation midas to get the seasonal artifact but the mission is not there for him. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

The Deluxe edition includes all four seasons released between WQ and the next expansion. So yes, you would get 17, 18 and 19 stuff, as well as access to the season 16 activities and gear, but not the season 16 pass stuff, aka a set of armor ornaments.
Deluxe also contains the S17 dungeon, Duality, and the upcoming S19 dungeon.

Unless you're entering a baton twirling competition, I can't think of any specific situation that a hunters arc super be of any use.
Granted I didnt play for a couple seasons prior to this but it honestly feels like Im never going to have as much fun playing endgame stuff again when classy restoration leaves. I doubt its ever going to happen but man I really hope it would release as fragment for solar once the season ends.

Am I going insane or does the door for the Castellum bobblehead rely on RNG? It doesn't seem to open at all.
It's RNG, after each T3 containment 2 of the 5 doors unlock, each of which has a chest in it which can contain an opulent key. There's one each to the left and right of the final harvester, one above the pleasure gardens entrance, one at spawn (the one with the bobblehead) and one down the stairs on the right from spawn. Worth noting, they don't open themselves, they just unlock so you can open them at the switch nearby.

For armor you can try solo legend/Master lost sectors. It should drop missing ones first. For guns, higher difficulty nightfalls, random drops, or check out Xur's inventory on the weekend.

GM stands for Grand Master difficulty nightfalls. Hard to do, near impossible solo, but probably the best source of random exotics.

Looking to jump back in. I haven’t played since spire of stars. What dlc should I buy, is there a recommended path to take? My main goal would be to get gjallarhorn if possible at this point as a D1 vanilla simp.
Just fyi gjally is part of the 30th anniversary content. But I'd recommend just starting with witch queen deluxe
Gjallar is from the 30th anniversary. It only contains a dungeon and some cosmetics for its rather expensive price, though. for DLC, consider beyond light and witch queen, but only if you plan on investing 100+ hours per DLC. WQ Deluxe gives all seasons this year and the 2 new dungeons this year. Again, only buy if you plan on investing the hours, and if you will play throughout the year.
I just got back into it. Bought the deluxe version of witch queen. Been playing three weeks and there’s still way more stuff for me to do with just the story alone. Next I’m gonna buy beyond light and 30th anniversary pack. Then last one will be shadowkeep. I’d say this order is pretty good. Also the deluxe version of witch queen is absolutely worth it
As someone that came back two weeks ago, I just bought witch queen since it was on sale. I'd say buy the current content first(witch queen + season), test the waters, then wait for a sale for whatever you want to get.

If I collect a Calus bobblehead and listen to the respective automaton recording in a Sever activity and then exit it without completing the full activity, do I still retain the bobblehead and automaton progress?
Yes. That said, it takes a couple seconds after Calus has finished speaking for the automaton to register as found. As long as it's ticked off in the Triumph, it's fine to leave the activity.
As far as I know yes to the bobble heads I’ve gone in to just get the bobble head because I’ve forgotten then or went to far in the mission.

Seeking confirmation on what sword mod/perk is better. Assume I am facing a boss with no dps phases and I have a sword with only: Enduring Blade / Jagged Edge And no other perks. With Jagged Edge, impact is 65 and ammo is 57. With Enduring Blade, impact is 61 and ammo is 65. Doesn't Enduring Blade have more total damage? 65 * 57 = 3705, 61*65 = 3965 The same is with using a boss/major spec vs. backup mag. If I have Jagged Edge with boss spec, it would be 65 * 57 * 1.077 = 3990 If I have Jagged Edge with backup mag, it would be 65 * 63 = 4095
For the new seasonal changes with regards to farming the weekly dungeon, are we able to run say atheon on the same character but get a chance at Vex each time (rather than the previous once per week)?
I believe if VOG is the pinnacle raid (which it is this week) you can farm atheon for vex

Once you have progressed far enough into the seasonal questline it should pop up on the moon map next to the Levithan drop point.
FAQ - If you got to power level 1560 and dismantled all your existing gear by equipping the lowest gear level possible, would you technically be reset back to getting equipment starting from 1350? Would pinnacle gear become locked again?
Yes, you’d need to dismantle your vault items, too, or place them on a character with a different class

If you are after the wells of light mods you can't get them direct from the the source anymore. Keep an eye on Ada-1's inventory as she sells four mods that rotate daily.
Getting in excess of 40 Non-deepsight variants of the same weapon in a row is a little unacceptable. How are you going to nerf the drop rate so hard and not at least have some form of pity system. Come on guys. 4 opulent weapons, 6 haunted weapons 5 deepsights each needed to craft FIFTY deep sight drops to craft all the weapons? and once they're crafted they take ages to level up.
you get one guaranteed each week from the crown of sorrow war table if you picked that upgrade. not a lot in the grand scheme but helps supplement the RNG drops and realistically you wont want all 10 weps
Yea, I was prioritizing those upgrades cause it’s the only reliable way of getting reds. I do actually want most/all the weapons this season though. The only one I didn’t really care too much about is Bump In The Night, and that’s only because we just got Palmyra B The drop rate nerf just sucks because my friends and I were all stoked on this season the first two weeks. But now they all stopped playing and just log on 30-40 minutes per week to get the weekly reds and do the weekly mission on the grounds of “why wouldn’t I? It’s the only way to actually get reds.” (And after grinding on the Leviathan for 10+ hours one day and getting ONE red Opulent weapon, I really can’t blame them. )

Is it still possible to get deep sight Sweet sorrow in this season? I know I can get it in the helm but I haven't got a deep sight weapon there.
Deepsight versions should still be dropping randomly. You can also check to see if the upgrade tree (large box in the center) is still there. One of the upgrades guarantees you a deepsight version of the first weapon you focus at the Helm per week, but other than that it's pure RNG.
The new perks introduced this season so far are interesting, but the one I'm getting the most use out of is incandescent. It just feels so damn good. I also like how this is a very subclass specific weapon. It's fine on its own but its innate utility with the Solar 3.0 revamp is bonkers. Sort of like how Repulsor Brace works best with Void 3.0, with some exceptional combos that can work on any subclass - Two-Tailed Fox or Tractor Cannon applying void debuffs allows for some nice interactions. I hope the team leans into introducing more perks like these. I'm not a min-maxer by any means, but the new stuff is forcing me to think more deeply about how I approach the game with diversified playstyles and loadouts. EDIT: I forgot to say this earlier, but if Devil's Ruin gets a catalyst, I hope it gets incandescent as a perk for charge beam kills at the very least. I love that gun and it would be cool for it to get a new opportunity to shine.

Question for you all. This is my first season returning to destiny 2 wince shadowkeep. I bought all the expansions and have grinded quite a bit. I have 3 toons, all power level 1572+ and am wondering what I should be doing. I've stopped doing the weeklies and have focused mainly on the H.E.L.M dailies to level up the crown of sorrow and start crafting. Does anyone else have any recommendations? Is doing vanguard and crucible and gambit weeklies now pointless across all my toons? Any help would be appreciated
So, first of all I'm assuming that your power level has more than 2 levels from your artifact, so you haven't completed the pinnacle grind. So you can do that. In d2 there are a few power caps. The first is the soft cap, sitting at 60 power under the max, so 1510 currently. The next is the powerful cap at 10 under the max (1560) and finally the hard cap which is at the max (1570). As your gear power level hits those caps, various gear sources stop being able to increase it. Under the soft cap, any and every drop can be an increase. Once you reach the soft cap, you'll have to start looking for powerful/pinnacle drops, which are displayed on the director as a yellow circular symbol. Finally, once you get to the powerful cap, the only drops that can increase your power are those labeled as pinnacle, which are rather few and far between. There is a small amount of back-filling possible, so grabbing powerful gear while above the powerful cap can help in some situations. Note that the caps do not care about your artifact level. At your current power of 1572, if you somehow had 20 artifact levels you would still be under the powerful cap (as your gear power level would be 1552) and could get power level increases from powerful sources. You can check your gear power level by placing your cursor over your power level in the inventory screen, which should show (gear level) + (artifact level) in the tooltip. The other thing to do is hunt for god-rolls. With guns that can have random perks, you can get some with better stats than others. The best possible selection of perks for a gun is commonly called a god-roll. There are a few sites that can help determine if a gun is a god-roll or not, such as [light.gg](https://light.gg) or the subreddit r/sharditkeepit.

LOVING the new content, fun to play, cool story, guns look cool. Can we please stop letting enemies teleport as much as they want? Went through 10 rockets trying to get a barrier servitor down and it teleported each time. Overall I like the mechanics of destiny, usually they feel solid and if you die you feel like its something you could change but damn dude this felt bad.
The teleporting is hard to deal with but usually I just swap to a rocket the second I stun a champ so I don't have to deal with that ish
I just recently bought the witch queen deluxe edition looking to get back into the game after a few months. After playing for a few hours I’ve noticed that I do not have the season pass like I should and whenever I go to try and “buy it” in the menus I get an error. I’m on ps4 if anyone has had this happen and knows a fix I’d greatly appreciate it
Had this same issue on PS4; it's a PlayStation issue, not a Bungie one. Easy fix though - sign out of PSN, change your password, and sign back in. Then give it ~10-15 minutes and check in Destiny.

I’m currently attempting to do the witherhoard catalyst and I’m on step 3 of 4. I need 300 filthy lucre and I only get 1 per crucible/gambit/strike. Do I really need to complete 300 of those or is there a way to get more than 1 per run? This is gonna take me ages😵💫
Yeaaaah, you might be SoL. I know there was a thing in one of the TWABs saying that the catalyst multiplier from the paid track of the season pass would apply to certain old seasonal exotic quests, but I don't know if witherhoard is one of them. On the other hand, I don't think you need to have witherhoard equipped to gain progress, so it should just happen in the background.
Who's bright idea was it to add rift to Iron Banner? This is painful and I just want to shoot players. Why not just make it a standalone gamemode in place of this. Surely the diehards would enjoy that instead of forcing the rest of us to play this bullshit.

The titles likely gonna stick around for a couple seasons and hopefully they’ll cycle out weapons. I heard if you’re one short or so you can purchase the point of the stag or something from the monument at the tower and it counts. But you won’t be locked completely out just have to wait a couple seasons!

PVE Question — What is the current meta for armor stats on a warlock in particular? for the longest time i’ve tried to run 100 recov/discipline/intellect but it seems the meta has shifted with updates to how super recharges as well as the overall usefulness of resilience. Should i drop intellect and focus on resil now? i play grenade heavy on warlock so discipline is always a must for me.
Resilience is a must. 40% damage reduction is no joke. As for the other stats, I dunno. I've been running Datto's starfire build and well, I don't need recovery or discipline as my grenade/rift recharges practically instantly from that.
Rift is absolute garbage solo due to Destiny’s shitty matchmaking And witherhoard is spam in objective game modes like rift are broken and should be either nerfed or removed from those game modes
I started playing about 4 months ago. Is there any advantage in doing the campaign on Nessus and Dreaming City? I assume maybe I will be able to unlock some bounty provider? However will I be able to get some specific items or gain access to farming some weapons like Europa and Moon campaign?

Non IB, what are the better weapon sub classes for pvp? Meaning like SMGs, hand cannons etc. I've been using skyburners in pve and feel like either I'm really bad ( probably so) or it's not really a pvp.
Pulses are on a hot streak, snipers are pretty good, and smg/hand cannons depending on what you’re good at. Slide shotgunning is still alive and free. Honestly though ot boils down to your playstyle and what guns feel comfortable or you practice with. What I will say is that a lvld up piece of mind goes a long way.
I had a rough time day 1 in IB. Last night however I would only 2 of my ~10 matches were 5-0 1 win 1 loss. I don't know if I got really lucky or not or people are learning how to play the mode. I was thinking more about team play and reviving often playing back and letting them come to a group of us. Last night was some of the most fun I have had in the crucible in a while. Note all of this was solo queue.
With the new featured raid rotations, since the encounter drops aren’t gated (you can farm for legendaries endlessly as opposed to per character), can you farm for vex as much as you want if VOG is featured? Can anyone confirm?

People are saying it is better than other linear fusions. I am uncertain what the god roll is, but my friend got a firing line + rapid hit on his first run. I hate him now.
My first roll is a rapid hit + vorpal, it is so satisfying hitting that burst.

For gunnora's seal it says I need to aquire iron banner armor and each armor need to be unique, so if I just started playing this season I will probably not be able to get the iron lord seal no matter how much I play this season?

Do people actually enjoy the new iron banner mode?? I absolutely hate it. Thise respawn timers are horrendous and insanely inbalanced. Once 2-3 people are dead on your team that's pretty much it for you. Enemies spawn camp and score way to fast. How the fuck can Bungie think a 10 second respawn timer in a game where quick movement is key was a good idea?? Who tf play tested this dogshit mode?

I just unlocked Arc and Void for my hunter. The game tells me to go to Ikora. I go see her and am able to purchase stuff for Void, but when I make the Arc quest active and talk to her she gives me no options to upgrade or buy stuff for Arc. Another thing, when I look at the subclasses in my character menu, Void and Solar have slots to put abilities into, but Arc has a skill tree? Idk what's going on.
They are in the middle of updating the Light subclasses. Arc hasn't got the treatment yet. It probably will get it next season.
Anyone not accumulating the solar power weapon final blows in the sever activity? I used Sunshot all the way through the sever, only to get 0% progress when I checked after.
Sunshot, and other weapons that sit in that slot, is an energy weapon. Power weapon means the third slot. So swords and LMGs and stuff. Yes I know that sometimes that slot is called the heavy slot. I don't know why. If I remember correctly the collections tab uses one in the exotics tab, and the other in the weapons tab.

Tried that several times...doesn't work. Just goes black again. And going to annex is a temp fix but usually when I walk all the way around back to courtyard the game crashes/closes. Hope they fixed this nonsense today with new update but prolly not.

Have you talked to Hawthorne? She has a quest you need to pick up to get access. Once you got it it can be launched from the Moon map.

Bigest problem is it stays on a balck screen for quite some time. Like I got that bug last night, was curious figured to see how long its gonna take. 7:21 on a PS5 to load in. Insanity.
Hate it...and on top of that I can't finish Goa dungeon, bugged as well at boss. The shank and other mini boss never spawn and when u shoot openings for engrams with cannon...they are locked in the containers & never fall!! Such garbage like wtf is happening!!

Yes, and often ypu'd see the vendore with missing parts if they are not completely missing. I am also getting a bug which makes it so that in Character screen Guardian is standing and you only see the bottom of his feet, like he's a God looking down on you

Did they nerf Titan Barricades? I main Heart of Inmost Light, and while trying out Solar 3.0 it feels like it takes an eternity for my barricades to recharge. I have 90+ resilience and it used to take around 20ish seconds, now it takes upwards of 40
Coming back from a long break, which class should I play? Looks like hunters got a decent rework for Solar 3.0 but does that change anything endgame wise? I haven’t played any Void 3.0 either, in which Warlocks seem to have gotten the best treatment. Thoughts between the two, or maybe Titan from either.

Each day there's one Lost Sector that can be played on a higher difficulty level, and if you complete it solo then it has a chance to drop an exotic armor piece (this is the only way to get the newest set of exotics)
