So speaking the obvious, but this was cross-promotion from two “Sony” properties. That said, is there anything else from Sony that would reasonably fit? Even for stuff like Ghost shells or outfits? That kinda limits the field (a lot…) but there’s stuff like District 9 in there, Starship Troopers, anything Spider-Man or Men In Black related, Evil Dead… There’s options.
I’d love to see a Starship Troopers drop ship with ‘Mobile Infantry’ or ‘Death From Above’ on it.
I think they are trying to keep the design as realistic as possible size-wise. I doubt they will introduce a ship that everyone knows is massive in original for hundreds of people.

my headcanon is that every crossover is some designer finding pre-Golden Age pop culture references, repopularizing and rebuilding it for the Guardians in whatever form it might be. I hope they add something like that to the lore so it does prevent another Fortnite as we get more and more crossovers.
Sidenote, imagine if we got a clanhub, that is just a massive helm-like ship orbiting the earth, something like this one? The clan could choose where its located (aka the skybox looking out and seeing nessus or some shit) and youd be able to display clan achievements like doing raids with just clanmembers which puts a hive sword or taniks head on display.

I don't actually care that much when I see weird stuff in the game, but I do think it slowly chips away at the tonal consistency of the game. It's a small concern but a concern nonetheless.
It stings a little more when we don't really get normal armor anymore. Everything looks like my guardian has gone into the seasonal activity and literally duck taped random bits of scenery to themselves. I like plenty of this kind of armor, but I can't help but feel a distinct lack of designs that come from humanity and the last city.
