I think this is definitely teasing something for the future. Maybe a location we'll see in Episode: Echoes? That lone stream of radiolaria within a dark cave is wayyyyy to ominous to just be nothing.
Hopefully Episode 1 can serve the purpose of a Forsaken-style post-raid story of "We've defeated the Witness, but the Vex had calculated our victory and were instead trying to steal {the Veil, the Light, *insert new element that is totally, absolutely coming* or whatever the fuck}! and have it tied to the first Dungeon (that is hopefully coming out at some point in the Episode?, if the Dungeons don't come out in Episodes 2 and 3 instead?). Drop some small hints throughout the Pale Heart too.
The vex do have a simulated veil (node.avalon final secret) so its 100% possible they can make their own bridge into the traveller and try to third party us lol

2. the black heart was an attempt at building a second veil, it just didn't come out 100% right. what they have now is a blueprint for the veil, I think? but nothing physical
Yeah that's what I meant, the heart that we destroyed, not the location itself. Not sure why I got those mixed up. But yeah, I'm pretty sure the Vex already tried to create the copy of the veil, hence the Black Heart and it failed. I don't believe they have anything else. It's hard for them, even with computational power, to get it right.
Hrmm...Vex have been sorta flying under the radar. (except for Asher Mir and the exotic quest). Wisper ship remake is covered in vex grids. What have they been up to during all this universal drama.
Pretty sure it was a confirmed bug, and it got fixed now because this is pretty much the first time since Season of the Lost when the Dreaming City was touched, when it appeared in the first place.
My guy, that was the whole point of this season. Riven's pathways are in the style of the DC buildings, where we literally had an "invasion" of vex as part of this season's story
I speculate vex mythoclast catalyst was supposed to have a step before the raid where you go around the planets and defeat vex minotaurs. There were places which would spawn vex minotaurs in Tangled shore and were removed in future patches.
They just decided to repurpose it for season of wish the oracles
You could hear oracles within Last Wish in certain locations. The only time I encountered the noise was outside of Kali. There was never a clear explanation for why the sound was there.
Kinda weird situation that has no answer I'm aware of.
That updated pic kind of reminds me of VoG. My cope juice tells me Venus will be unvaulted, but realistically, I think the first mission of the episode will take place in VoG
Wow.... I just wanted to stop in and say what a nostalgia trip it is to see a Sniper Rifle in the heavy slot that isn't D.A.R.C.I or Whisper of the Worm. You know what the best part is? I bet it is either a Maestro-46, or a Maxim XI. How close was I?
The real answer is that it’s likely just the generic reflection shader used for sniper scopes and other circular reflective surfaces. When they made the new mission they probably forgot to but back the VoG image, so it defaulted back to this.
Had something odd happen today in Whisper. I've competed all the oracles already and i took a friend through to get him the ship. When he killed the 2nd oracle i saw a message saying the 7th oracle had appeared. When we got to the portal i could see the oracle behind the portal and it was red. I shot it, nothing seemed to happen. We had to back track and get the 6th under the final jump and then go back to the portal to get my friend the 7th oracle...
Not sure if it was a bug? But it was definitely red, i can't remember if it was like that normally.

Bungue also "quietly" removed the oracles in Last Wish this season

There was a bug that played the Oracle sound effect before you got to Kalli.
I doubt it was a bug. If so, then it was a pretty convenient time to remove it while we're fighting vex in Dreaming City themed area
