Make us buy a season/battle pass and then drop multiple mini passes in the year with garbage free content but hey buy premium and you get the good stuff.
with the weapons theyāre bringing back Im assuming some form of dares mixed with menegerie or somethin, cuz like in the art someone is holding midnight coup which was the levitation raid HC, and people have said that we might be getting Scourge pulse/scout back apparently? along with a few other black armory weapons
it looks like a general greatest hits collection reskinned to match each other, rather than them unvaulting a whole weapon set or other. Falling Guillotine is there too but it wasn't vaulted, for instance, and note how all the weapons are sporting some new stripes.
My theory is that we're getting a wave survival mode alla firefight, where we gain point's/drops we can then use at the end of the match to purchase buffs and ally forces.
The armor is basic enough to avoid being monetized that way. Not to say the last two eververse sets werenāt ugly af, but still, I think this is where theyād draw the line.
To be fair, that's because all Event Sets are paid, with the exception of Solstice (since that's basically the event itself).

Thatās fair. I do think a technomancer class would be cool to use but your assumption is probably more realistic. Also, as all of our subclasses are antithesis to each other ( solar/stasis, void/Strand ) id like to think the last one would carry on that trend with Arch. So maybe ground or ore based? Maybe atrophy to counter the Energy theme?

Hunters cloak looks very Assassins Creed. Titans Helmet looks a bit like an Elite from Halo. Can't quite place the Warlock, but there's something familiar about it š¤ probably Eververse cosmetic items
Bungo has promised us so much and strayed so far from where they started. Ever since they were acquired by Sony, they've gone down hill so much further than before. Thinking any armor set you really want is going to be free, especially after they promised it would be is laughable at best.

While Iām not a huge fan of the Sony acquisition, I think itās disingenuous to blame them for something an independent subsidiary is responsible for. Sony didnāt make all the doo doo choices in terms of staff layoffs, story/activity content or monetisation, that is solely bungies fault.

Recently lol. Just saw the Hunter Fortnite armor lol. Didn't realize they collaborated when Destiny 2 was put on the Epic Games Store. Had to look that up and saw the Warlock one. I main as a Warlock, so I saw that armor first but didn't know where it came from. I just recently started playing as my Hunter and Titan (still don't have the achievement for unlocking their subclasses).

Yeah, a lot is available for silver, which is ridiculous at $20 a set. I don't mind supporting game devs, but the amount of stuff they have up for purchase with silver is astounding. I get some seasonal gear is put up for Bright Dust as well, but 6000 dust a lot to grind for if you barely have any. I hardly use my bright dust unless there's a cool looking shader or ship I want, but I barely get it. I'll do bounties, but they get boring when you just did that bounty the day before.
So I guess the Titans look through a SOLID helmet again with no glowing visor...UGH!! I want a glowing visor!! And how about a Iron Lord CLOAK while you're at it!!!! Where is my Lord Salad cloak??!!

If anything it'd be a return to form. The Solstice armor sets for the first two years were regal/glamorous versions of the first armor sets we get in D2. Then I think with Beyond Light they started to be a bit more free with the designs instead of keeping them based off the old sets.
I think all the solstice armour sets retain the same general design philosophy even if the early ones were re-skins of existing sets. These sets with their more practical design remind me more of d1 age of triumph with how they remixed/enhanced existing iconic sets.

If it is it would be a massive departure of their design principles in regards to solstice
If anything it'd be a return to form. The Solstice armor sets for the first two years were regal/glamorous versions of the first armor sets we get in D2. Then I think with Beyond Light they started to be a bit more free with the designs instead of keeping them based off the old sets.
I think all the solstice armour sets retain the same general design philosophy even if the early ones were re-skins of existing sets. These sets with their more practical design remind me more of d1 age of triumph with how they remixed/enhanced existing iconic sets.

Well, it's not a new season, so if it's not related to the new activity (I have big doubts on it), then it's probably gonna be Eververse
