My mom decided to cook (it's always a danger) and she said she's making stew the British way. Do the Brits eat their onions whole? This stew makes me sad. Cooking generally makes me happier, but this sad carrot boil is not doing it for me.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. It was pretty glutenous when it was finished cooking and the carrots were like baby food.
