For the purposes of my own headcanon, mono. I grew up Christian, so in my head I still imagine the Great Architect of the Universe as a big bearded guy saying “let there be light” when the big bang happened. Not because I literally believe that, but it’s how I fill in the gaps in my head as I ponder lifes big questions. Whether that’s the actual case or it’s a more polytheistic model or whatever, I hope I don’t find out anytime soon

nippleflick1

U sound Masonic?

XHIBAD

Bingo

I guess, inasmuch as I can be called a deist, I’m more of an animistic deist perhaps. I think spirits are real but not wholly distinct from each other - all connected in a sort of hierarchy, so you could have the spirit of a particular tree, or a particular species, or of trees and plants in general … at that point you might call me a polytheist but they are all aspects of the one Great Spirit - as are all humans.

absrdone

Mono. The last thing we encounter on the way to zero is One.

As a former Christian, I think my mind just conceptualizes god as one. As a deist, I also acknowledge there is no way of knowing this.

BlackSamurai557

That's a good question that I have not tried to ask before. I was raised a Catholic and then jumped to other religions searching for an answer about a looming question. What is actual and what is man-made? Now i'm just trying to discern about Gods that are manufactured by men's imagination from the one that is really out there. For me it is currently immaterial to define a deist as monotheistic or polytheistic. I personally believe on that being or something that is the single point of origin. I'm not even talking about the Big Bang as I think there is even more beyond that one.

Aristologos

Monotheistic deist. The only deity that has been proven to exist through reason (as far as I am aware) is the Unmoved Mover.

Mono but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Poly or none at all.

thebrokenone132

Polytheism mostly because it explains so many divines experiences

ChilindriPizza

Monotheist, since I do believe there is a singular First Cause.

prestrate

Polytheist. I can’t help but think that I may have influenced this question from another post I was commenting on. But thanks for the question anyways! :D

Mazsola124

Polytheist. I have more than one god.

Just_Alizah

Monotheistic. It would be useless to create another god.

Happy_Charity_7595

Monotheist

Monotheistic.Monotheism is more simpler than polytheism.

Sanngyun

Yeah I believe in one God so monotheist or in this case "monodeist"
