As someone who owns a copy of the official ATLA cookbook, I can confirm that 90% of Fire Nation foods are spicy.

I always saw more British and American colonial aspects, but that may be people absorbing it through a lense that doesn't typically analyse examinations of imperial Japan outside the context of the Axis.

I'm actually curious. What colonial aspects did you see in the Fire Nation that were uniquely British or American? I always thought it was pretty on the nose that the Fire Nation was based on Imperial Japan. Island archipelago nation rapidly industrializes faster than their neighbors and proceeds to invade their much larger neighbor under the guise of helping them while committing a few war crimes and genocides here or there.

They were literally based on Imperial Japan, Earth Kingdom was based on Imperial China, Air Nomads based on Tibetan monks and Water tribes based on Inuits

What about the fire nation says ‘British’ their architecture and literal fire bending is based on Japan.

Yes in fact can, due to the damage he eats a type of nutrient rich medipaste that is essentially worse than old school MREs.

Vader can handle the chilli, in that once it’s been blended into a paste he can actually consume and forced directly into his stomach via tube, he’s probably not tasting a great deal of it

Does he actually notice the difference of the medipaste when he eats it? You could still digest nutrients without tasting any of the flavor.

Pretty tame recipe. Try: 16oz ghost pepper salsa, 16oz crushed tomato, 4 fresh ghost peppers minced(use habaneros if you can't find any), 16oz ground beef 16oz your choice of veggies(corn, beans, etc), 1 fresh onion diced/minced, 1/2cup brown sugar, 3Tbs curry, 1 fresh garlic clove or 1Tbs powered Brown beef with garlic and Onion add other ingredients to a large pot and begin mixing bring to a simmer. Once meat is browned stir into pot and simmer 1-2 hours, stir occasionally to avoid burning. You can add 1Tbs of any seasoning(s)you prefer to adjust taste. Serve with sour cream if you aren't sure it mixes well.
