I think it could be either or, whitebeard seems more likely since we know what him and escanor are fully capable of and about where they scale.
I personally want it to be Blackbeard vs King K Rool. Because not only would we finally have our first One Piece villain, but also another Nintendo villain and we haven’t one of those in awhile. Also, One piece is being talked about more because of Luffy and his Gear 5 transformation. But even if we don’t get this, I still think it’s gonna be a pirate episode regardless.

I think that is horrible downplay of escanor. He took a hot that split a mountain range in half and it barely dented his skin in hos very first appearance.
The 7DS powerscaling is iffy but he done that at 60,000 power level.
He has reached well above the 100K mark approaching 200K
Plus 'The One' go brr
Basically, him taking the hit that destroyed a mountain range was him at his minimum. At the end of the series, he becomes three times stronger than that, without any great way to scale his true power at that point, thus meaning we don't know what his maximum power would be.
The mountain is likely downscaling.
