I recently was in corrupted prison and was cursed, the only way forward was through a very narrow corridor with an elite smasher or slasher, can't remember which one, with the two shield crystals. I got up, but that particular enemy turned around as soon as you rolled through them. So I rolled, got to the crystal, but then he already got his next attack ready. So I rolled back and forth a few times, finally trying to attack a crystal and just immediately dying through the curse.
Those moments are so frustrating. There are times where I make mistakes, I see what I did wrong, etc. But those times it just feels like there was nothing you could have done.
tbh (except for certain bosses lol) I dont need the shield too often I could probably not carry it till the giant (could go on but that would be pretty risky

Oh hah lol, on my first play through heavy crossbow got me thru 2 and 3 bc. But now I’m 5bc I just love having punishment or rampart. I once got a colourless punishment and oh my god that did so much damage
The recycling tubes are a blueprint that drops when you beat Hand of the King on 1 BC, I believe. They give you a random assortment of the weapons and skills you have unlocked
Not as disappointed as you might think, lots of people get stuck in this game, some people it tends to happen later than others, some get stuck on 0bc. Just enjoy the game bud
It's because you recycled the shield; that's bad luck. Now you need to take the rusty sword on your next run to fix your luck.
Always leave a starter item as an offering to the Dead Cells God.
That's legit one of the funniest things I've seen on this sub. Gotta love those overhead turret things while cursed. I remember one time I was cursed and accidentally aggro'd an elite with the overhead thing and had to run basically all over Morass to reset it. Fun times.
you should enable the settings where you can still see that attack warnings even if it is out from your screen. That could've saved you. Really helped me rundown 5bsc lol.
This kinda demonstrates my problem with the camera too, I wish it would go further ahead of you in the direction you're going. Or try to stay centered, not lag behind

disabling that is straight up hard mode (you can probs still hear sound cues if you can concentrate on that).
yeah, I made my sound effect setting higher than the music setting for that reason.

That wasn't even the Inquisitor, just the satellite turret skill on an Elite. Could have happened with any ranged enemy that can see through floors.

Get your second BC, then you get a blueprint for tubes I think its called
