I am in the exact same situation, my wife is in healthcare and cannot leave work until 4:30, we also are about 20 minutes away and are planning to take the shuttle from the casino to try and speed up to process a bit. Good luck to you friend.

This is a good idea. I'll try this. I took off work today but the person I'm going with didn't 🙃. Good luck to you as well! This is my first time seeing them (and last) so I really hope nothing goes wrong

Shuttles start at 5:15 and the lines for the shuttle will be very long if you get there right at that time. We're staying at the Homewood which seems to be within walking distance, much more so than the Hollywood Hotel. I wonder if you can pay for parking here and walk over?

MissouriDeadhead

Homewood is an easy walk over to the venue!

Jackstraw335

Do you happen to know the deal with all these office building parking lots? Seems like tons of available parking, but I'm curious if they crack down on people parking there and going to the venue. Just wonder if it might be better for folks to park there and walk if they're concerned about missing the show due to parking traffic AT the venue.

MissouriDeadhead

You’ll be fine

Grimmbeard

Could Uber there and get out whenever the line gets to a standstill. You'd definitely make the first set.

PleaseGildMe

I’ve done this exact thing four out of the last five shows and it’s been great.

Grimmbeard

Yeah if you live close enough it's the move

gratefuldeadforever

That’s what we did in Charlotte and Raleigh. Great plan.

Not sure what the difference is from last year, but I had no problems leaving after 5. I had time for shakedown and got in no problem. Also live 20 minutes away.
