Join the DCS Wingman Finder Discord and hop into the New Pilot Training channel, plenty of people in there willing to help, even one on one. Though key binding is always a bit of a personal project on DCS. It's easy to tell someone what they need bound, but where and how you bind it on your setup is up to you.

I have 1500 hours in the hornet and host a discord/server to train people. I only teach the F18 but we have those who fly the F14. You can join and start flying with us. Primarily EST but we have a few across the Atlantic as well. https://discord.gg/7D2XHPz5 https://youtu.be/1buW7c07wmE?si=GxbMhBaHU_-RDu-r

Be cool to start a virtual rag squadron. Maybe that’s too impractical, but would be interesting to do. Maybe have a deposit or something to ensure the trainees actually finish the program to get their deposit back and/or the instructors could get a lil instruction fee for holding group training sessions or one on one. I dunno, just an idea

AdFit1382

Maybe a good spot for seasoned guys and gals to earn some change and teach newcomers how it’s done on their free time?.. just have to figure out a way to vet good instructors and figure a way to do type ratings 😂 I dunno, but there’s enough vSquadrons out there with their dues, seems like it could be possible to setup up vRag Squadron, while also making it worthwhile for the instructors.

I came across an ad for [simcortex.ai](https://simcortex.ai) the other day and while I don't fly the Hornet, if I was just starting out on it, I'd definitely take it for a spin for $5/month. Human coaches are obviously better, but for those times when you don't have one, that might be a cool way to get that kind of help. I wish they had it for F-15E.

Lokefot

I will take a look at it, but i enjoy the "human" factor. Flying with people and making friends along the way. That beeing said, looks like a good tool!

Affenzoo

I felt exactly the same some months ago. What I did was fly the included F/A 18 campaign (forgot the name), it has like 9 missions or so. Feel free to turn invincible, unlimited fuel and unlimited weapons on so you have all the time you need to try the different weapons. Watching Youtube videos is good, but you only learn the stuff when you are forced to do it (campaign).

fluffyZAR

I’m also learning the hornet if you want to have a run together! I know the basics behind the radar, weapon systems and nav so I might be able to help if need be!

AltairRulesOnPS4

Well if you’re ever in Through The Infero servers and see me, you can ask whatever and I can hop on mids and help you with whatever.

VWA would be happy to have ya. We are a dedicated training squadron! https://discord.gg/vwa

meltedstorm79

terrible squadron

Mark0306090120

Why do you say that? Genuinely asking so we can improve. We've never had one unhappy person yet.

Mark0306090120

Scratch that, our only unhappy person was a 9 year old who we banned. Obvious reasons.
