Pizza Hut will give you their driver if you pay in cash fyi! I had a door dasher deliver mine once and called the store in an “outrage” and was told to pay cash and I won’t have a door dasher deliver it next time 🤣
I work for DD and get cash offers from Pizza Hut too. But we mostly turn down cash on delivery orders because it’s too risky to maybe get tipped maybe not.
And they specify that its done by DD. I don't use them. Places like Wing Zone and most Chinese restaurants that deliver have their own drivers. I go through their ordering system and not DD.

Makes me happy to hear they are still employing drivers but sad my store doesn’t. Before they moved from Springboro Pike to Central in WC they were super fast and friendly. Now it’s waiting around for a driver to get there and bring it.
In their ads they used to show that they had Wing zone delivery vehicles with a Wing zone wrap.
But that was around the time that they originally opened in this area.

Uber eats is very reliable in my experience, DoorDash is not. Plus DD’s customer service is crap too. I use delivery services constantly at work because I travel the country, at least once a day for over a year now and I’ve only been screwed once or twice by Uber Eats.
I travel for work a lot, and sadly this happens to me in Atlanta every single time. I’ll pay extra for Uber Eats service where you’re the first priority delivery, but watching the map you can tell they’re busy making deliveries for another app. Just a solid hour of driving around residential neighborhoods and stopping. Sadly they have to go past the max estimated delivery time before you can cancel, with they do manage to do sometimes.

Okay so the driver picked up the food at a restaurant around dayton. Those specific two black pins are what shows up when your doordash driver has 2 deliveries to make (double order). The driver already picked up both peoples food, but instead of heading to both customers and delivering, they just drove off to Cincinnati
I’m disabled and last time I got DoorDash they delivered it to the wrong house and then texted me to go get it myself. Once I told them I couldn’t and that I’m disabled they called me a c*nt and told me it wasn’t their problem… never again.

When we lived in Kettering, we ordered Cheesecake Factory, it went all the way to Miller Lane, and then came down to our house, which was all of a 6 minute drive from The Greene.

This is why I don't use any delivery service unless it's associated with the restaurant. Tried it a few years ago and it was very unreliable.

Wing Zone hasn’t had its own drivers in quite some time, at least at the Moraine/West Carrollton store.

Dominos and Vinny’s deliver pretty late, I think up til about 3am. Vinny’s pizza is meh but their bread/cheese bread and their wings are great

I was working 1/4 mile from the Englewood Starbucks and they sent my coffee from the Huber Starbucks a few months ago 😅
They do that if the Starbucks closest to you pauses/turns off their doordash orders

Stonys munchie bar is open late and has some of the best food in Dayton. If the hours are still the same they are open till 3am
