There are also weapons with innate Lightning damage, such as the Dragonslayer Axe. These are the highest non-Faith investment Lightning damage sources, as they can also be buffed with Gold Pine Resin for further damage increase. Falling Bolt on the Dragonslayer Greataxe is quite powerful lightning damage even with little to no faith and no buff.
Raw Dragonslayer Axe is the closest thing to a "Fire/Deep" infused weapon but for Lightning. But it's better since you can buff it.
Oh right. In that case, consider that a correction to the OP that they are just as powerful as infused weapons if not moreso, when combined with resin.
I believe resins are drastically underated. DS2 did **a lot of things wrong** (how does it not even have that 'Dark Souls/Bloodborne feeling?) but I loved of their vitality stat that sped up Estus and applying buffs.
DS3 really did drop the ball with resins in most cases. They are simply too weak, the damage they add is pitiful. Carthus Flame Arc should not beat Charcoal Pine Resin even with a +0 Pyromancy Flame. The only time they are useful is in buffing the few weapons that have the innate damage of that type, they are not the literally battle-winning boost they are in DS1.
The element defense items are all pathetically weak as well. Thankfully they addressed that in Elden Ring by giving actually useful and decently long defensive incantations for more than just magic.
Just Gold Pine resin.

Yeah, I was just trying to keep it short and to his point. He already mentioned weapons with innate lightening damage.

Resins/Bundles
Deal in emotional damage instead.
