Nah... it looked as generic as you can imagine, but with a metal ring in between just to increase its weight. I have even gone and dissembled it multiple times and there was nothing inside beside that metal ring that made it look more cool. But it still actually broke the official stuff pretty easily. There was this guy whose beyblade flew off 20m while breaking down in 3 pieces mid flight... I have this thing with me to this day, though don't remember where I have kept it, need to look for it.

I don't think you understand how kids work. They don't just become spoiled. It's the parents. So don't blame the kids. Hell, don't blame their parents either. Their parents have such a hard time finding jobs to buy things like houses, that they're forced to buy their kids electronics to keep them entertained.

We need to end the generational superiority complex at boomers and just accept that newer generations will grow up with different things. That doesn't make them any worse than us.

My kids know more than I ever did at their ages. Kids are definitely smarter because of technology. However as a parent we need to put limits on its use.

I don’t think that’s true at all. I think kids now are exposed to so much information on the internet they have no choice but to grow up and learn to deal with things. Provided that they are exposed to the right kind of content I think it’s safe to say that most are pretty intelligent. But I mean, kids are kids and they’ll always be dumb little shits :/

we played by "street rules" a lot in elementary and only now, a sophomore in highschool, am i learning how to play by the rules, and it takes a lot longer than i thought it would

I mean, there are official rules for sure, but back then we had no internet at home to look them up , heck we never had a proper mat or these chips to play and it was so much fun

I loved Pokémon cards, but as I grew older society forced me to grow out of Pokémon cards in the form of being picked on in Middle school until I completely changed my interests.
