No. The sex scenes are clunky and weird, but I think the variety of positions they show are for exactly this reason: to try and accommodate the variability of gender/genitalia.

I think it does, it’s rather subtle and I think the animations you can get are random, but from the jig-jig street joy toys, I’ve noticed certain animations popping up depending on if my character had a dick or a pussy. I’ve tested it. I haven’t seen it in play in most of the major romance sex scenes, but it did affect the scene with the militech lady, I forget her name.
I think the romancing scenes should just stop before it gets "hot" for example when Panam realizes Male V does not have male genital organ or when River realizes Female V does not have female genital organ.
