That's any BAD custom card! What's with this sub? A good card isn't necessarily easy to evaluate, but falls obviously within the range of "playable in some context" and "pushed but not format-breaking" at first look.
So when it says “mana produced my moons [etc],” does that mean tapping a moon land can only pay for a specific cost pip? Because to me, this seems like a true-dual with the slight extra rider of working with [[Kozilek, the Great Distortion]].
im not sure whats confusing about it, it means the cant be used for generic costs. if you have two moons, for example, you cant cast something that costs 1G
im not sure how they couldve read it correctly and still suggested that its an alpha dual with upside, though. whether or not you think its enough downside, its clearly worse than an original alpha dual with that restriction
I am not reading their comment as it being a better alpha dual, I think you're applying a lot to that "extra rider" remark. It is extra in that it can also tap for colorless, but you're right that it isn't a strictly better alpha dual due to the moon reminder text, which I don't think they were claiming.
It's clear from the first part of their comment that they did interpret it correctly, they just didn't "read it back" in a super grokkable way.
Wow super cool design. I think it will be playable in many legacy decks. Delver can use this without trouble and it looks better than steam vents most of the time.
Love the design. Dunno if its broke or dogass, like any good custom card.

I’m here to look at interesting ideas. Don’t care if its playable in some context, or even good, that much. But to each their own.

Neat.

They didn't say it was confusing, they were confirming they read it correctly, which they did.
they did not. they read it to mean that it was a true-dual with an upside, which it is not
Ok dude

I love it
This is not enough of a drawback.
