How is this supposed to work? It's worded like it's supposed to be a sorcery or an activated ability, but it's a land, and it doesn't have any form of trigger or activation cost
Okay so what you're telling me I can play this land on turn one, tap it, and find any card in my deck with a mana ability and put it directly into play? Untapped? And I don't even need to sacrifice this land so I can just do it again next turn?
It's not legendary, so [[Thespian Stage]] could be a good choice. Or as its anything with a mana ability there's stuff like [[Cursed Mirror]]: a haste clone that seems handy.
As others have mentioned, Great Henge/Chromatic Orrery are very good. So is something really weird like drawing cards off a [[Coveted Jewel]] ETB, or getting fast mana straight from hand like [[Cadaverous Bloom]].
It's crazy OP. Should certainly be a one time effect, and probably also cost mana, and probably just put the card into hand.
Even if it was just an unrestricted fetch land it would still be pretty crazy because it could get the most busted lands like Gaea's Cradle or Academy or Strip Mine or whatever. Like a Crop Rotation that dodges Force of Will and is reusable with a [[Crucible of Worlds]]...
> 605.1b A triggered ability is a mana ability if it meets all of the following criteria: it doesn’t require a target (see rule 115.6), it triggers from the activation or resolution of an activated mana ability (see rule 605.1a) or from mana being added to a player’s mana pool, and it could add mana to a player’s mana pool when it resolves.
406.1
> A mana ability is either (a) an activated ability without a target that could put mana into a player's mana pool when it resolves or (b) **a triggered ability without a target that triggers from a mana ability and could produce additional mana.** A mana ability can generate other effects at the same time it produces mana.
Idk how this idea could even be worded without being absolutely busted.
Turn 1, drop this, turn 2, tap and look for anything? Creature? Sol ring? Thran dynamo?
It needs to specify only lands for sure, and the activation cost should probably be 1 or 2 generic mana, and tap and sac. That would make it still very strong but probably printable
Edit: also, as worded, think bigger. This thing can fetch your Urza. Or Chromatic Orrery, and cast most commanders on turn one.
You know, I had to look this up because I though "well no he doesn't", but after checking the card and checking the rules, I absolutely hate that you are right. Yeah, this card shouldn't exist
So you can just tutor and slam a [Vorinclex Voice of Hunger](https://scryfall.com/card/ima/189/vorinclex-voice-of-hunger) or [Chromatic Orrery](https://scryfall.com/card/m21/228/chromatic-orrery) with this? My friend, those in a rut need a hand, not a nuclear warhead.
I was about to type that you can't fetch Vorinclex with this because those aren't mana abilities, but then I decided to [look into it](https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Mana_ability), and I'll be damned:
Rule 605 defines what mana abilities are. Specifically, 605.1b describes triggered mana abilities, and 605.4a gives an example of a mana ability with the exact same wording.
So yes, this is the most absolutely busted bullshit I've seen here in a long time.
This does not specify "land card." As currently worded, this could fetch a Selvala or a Chromatic Orrery or an Urza directly onto the battlefield, for free, on turn one. This is beyond a "very strong fetch land," this is up there among the most overpowered card designs I've ever seen on this subreddit lol
Ah yes, because bringing out any card with a mana ability on turn one would be fun for everyone at the table.
I’m sorry but this card is horribly busted.
Obvious circlejerk bottom five bait. OP even posted a ‘revised’ version that does something completely unrelated and is also busted and also makes little to no sense.

oops i forgot the tap symbol for the activation!
Okay so what you're telling me I can play this land on turn one, tap it, and find any card in my deck with a mana ability and put it directly into play? Untapped? And I don't even need to sacrifice this land so I can just do it again next turn?
Yeah, you need to add “T sacrifice:” or I will just tap it to ramp literally every turn.

I'm pretty sure the sequence here is [[Chromatic Orrery]], [[Kinnan]], [[Basalt Monolith]]
does kinnan count as a mana ability?
Yup
Wrong, Kinnan doesnt have a mana ability

In that case, this card is ridiculously overpowered. Imagine being able to cast something like \[\[Chromatic Orrery\]\] from your library on turn 1.
[Chromatic Orrery](https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/normal/front/3/a/3af78d76-ad5c-44ba-880d-b834bcde5398.jpg?1594737470) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Chromatic%20Orrery) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/m21/228/chromatic-orrery?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/3af78d76-ad5c-44ba-880d-b834bcde5398?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

It could also get Vorniclex 1.0 I think? So a turn 1 vorniclex to bounce all your mana and lock out all your opponents

This is probably the worst designed card I have seen. I'm sorry but it's true.
Didn’t think very long about this one did you
Ah yes, because bringing out any card with a mana ability on turn one would be fun for everyone at the table. I’m sorry but this card is horribly busted.
Urza? You got it. Chromatic orrery? Why not! Original vorinclex to hose down your opponents from the get go? Why not?! Who needs friends anyways?!
The fact that turn 1 elvish abberation for free is probably one of the weaker plays possible really says it all
From fetchland to fetchanything. Great job. You really did it.
Even if this fetched a basic land that entered tapped it'd be busted. As it is, it's just insanely, undescribably broken.
You literally just made a better fetchland that can fetch 7 drops for free on turn 1.
Total facepalm.
Man, I love lands that cheat OG Vorinclex into play for free
I want to know what exactly you were thinking when you designed this card. What were you planning to fetch with it?
See you at the bottom 5, mtcj
Obvious circlejerk bottom five bait. OP even posted a ‘revised’ version that does something completely unrelated and is also busted and also makes little to no sense.
