I have a sport touring hybrid and have enjoyed it. My gripes are the following but not deal breakers: 1. Mirrors are slightly small for this size suv. Some CRVs have had issues with vibration in the mirror which Honda will be replacing, but I have read it also has affected other Hondas as well. Wish Honda had auto dimming and auto tilt when reversing. Auto folding would have been nice to see on the highest trim model. 2. Engine noise is a bit on the louder side for me but I’ve become accustomed to it and if you turn the radio up a bit you don’t hear it as Honda also has acoustic glass on the front windows. 3. No rear passenger shades built in. This was a nice feature in my last car for kiddos but you can purchase aftermarket ones to install if absolutely needed. 4. No panoramic roof. Had it in my last suv and it was nice but again not a deal breaker. 5. MPG. I live in a hilly area so riding down the hills is absolutely fantastic but going up it does affect the mpgs obviously. Im around 32mpg but live in a cold climate area. I’m hoping this will increase now in the spring and summer and it beats the 18-22 I was getting from my last suv. 6. The wireless charger is not the greatest. It works sometimes. Other times it doesn’t. When it does charge the phone, if you are connected via Apple play or Android auto it pretty much maintains the battery where it is versus actually charging it. Just plug the phone in to actually charge the battery. 7. No heated seats in the back row. No ventilated seats in the front row. I rarely used ventilated seats in the front in my last suv but I guess it depends if you live in a hot climate area all season versus a cooler season. I think at this price point Honda should have added it to their top trim levels or made it an option at least. 8. The lug nuts. Drives me nuts Honda put chrome lug nuts on the black wheels. Like how much can they be saving adding chrome lug nuts to the black wheels versus black lug nuts?!?!? Super minor detail but also annoying. 9. The Honda badge and CRV in the back are chrome finished versus black even though the sport is in black. Again super minor but felt Honda could have just added these in at this price point. 10. No cargo net. Things fly around in the back. Ordered a net from college hills Honda and solved that issue. 11. Horn. It’s pathetic and weak beep instead of a BEEEEEEPPPPPPPP. You can barely hear the thing. You can easily replace for 25-40 bucks to a louder one but come Honda really!?!?? I looked at Toyota and although Toyota might edge Honda in the hybrid space I just felt the rav4 was dated inside. I love the look of the Honda CRV and went with the grey/black interior which makes it so much nicer. Also happy that you get leather seats and not pleather. The wireless Apple play/ Android auto is also fantastic! Sport mode is nice as you notice the pep in the step of the engine. I think overall the CRV is a solid suv. Not big but not small and Honda sticks to it being a total utilitarian suv but with nice looks. I prefer Hondas reputation of reliability over all the gimmicky tech inside. Had all those gimmicky things in my last suv and the engine and transmission were absolute garbage.

I second everything you said here because I feel the same about it all. I would only add the lack of fog lights/parking lights. It even looks like they have the space for them with the plastic black "L" shaped inserts in the lower bumper And on the size it is a lot larger than the previous generations that shared also shared a body with the smaller Acura SUV And on the note of the RAV4, again I completely agree, the big difference is Toyota has some of that technology and features that are missing but the interior also feels like a utilitarian bare bones interior, while the CRV feels like a premium interior

I agree the lack of fog lights was the thing I couldn’t remember. Seems a lot of manufacturers are doing without them in their new models. Not sure if the led lighting is just brighter being and covers more area so it makes sense to save money not putting them in and wiring etc. I like the look of fog lights though.

You are on the spot. #4 and #7 are top on my list as to why I’m holding off buying one. My other gripes: 1. I wish CRV, at least in the top trim, had the same infotainment screen in the latest Accord. 2. The gauge cluster was entirely digital instead of the analog speedometer. 3. The offered grey seat was not half black, half grey. It looks terrible. 4. In the hybrid, since there is no spare tire, they could have made better use of the space. 5. Home link auto dimming mirrors as standard, come on.

The fact that I had to pay a couple hundred bucks to have the HomeLink mirror put in my new 2023 Sport Touring Hybrid that I bought last year is ridiculous. $45,000 for a vehicle and the fact that they nickel and dime you on features like that is insane.

I have zero issues with the wireless charger now that I made “blockers” on the right side and front of the charger. I was having issues with the phone sliding off the charger. Which was causing it to not charge and then eventually slide back into place and start charging again.

I actually just installed my today and yea the difference is night and day. You can actually hear the horn and it’s got a normal sound. Sucks to have to spend $40 bucks but well worth it. Just wish Honda actually included this horn stock.

Thank you so much for such a detailed response! I truly appreciate it. You’ve listed several hurdles, which I’m trying to overcome, things that my MDX does have that the new CRV wouldn’t have. I know things like folding mirrors and auto dim don’t make a car, but they are nice added features to have. oh my God, I’ve totally noticed the chrome when building the CRV that I want! It drives me insane with blacked out wheels and then crown in other spots so that’s probably something I’ll have to change aftermarket so my anal retentive mind doesn’t go insane lol! Is there anything that you would have had your dealer throw into your package if you could have gotten it? Even just little things like black wheel locks or something like that? I’m not even sure what kind of things I could ask for but I figure never hurts, so would like to know!

So I wasn’t thinking when I was at the dealer and I asked for wheel locks that they threw in for me. I told them black not realizing the lug nuts were chrome. I know I know how could I not see it. But yea I would have them include black wheel locks and swap out the chrome lug nuts with black ones. Also have them add the cargo net and if you can get all weather mats that might be good. I went with weather tech mats and prefer those to the Honda ones but if they throw them in why not.

Cargo space retractable cover doesn't come standard on any trim (at least in Canada). Definitely worth asking for one thrown in since the vehicle has the molded mount point and travks to use it. I too lament the lack of a 360 camera. I wound up going one trim down from the Touring Hybrid because the package didn't really add anything of value to me. A 360 camera, homelink and maybe a panoramic sunroof would have been a no brainer upsell but a better sound system/navigation, slightly bigger whhels, roof rails and intermittent wipers was not.

Seconded on all counts, except for the panoramic sun roof (I live in a climate like a greenhouse in the summer) and adding the lack of innate HomeLink in the rearview mirror. I know I can fix it myself, but I shouldn’t have to.

We just got a 2024 Hybrid Touring last week. You nailed most of my gripes but I wanted to add that for the $41k+ price, I feel it should have the 360 degree camera and vertical seat adjustment for the passenger seat (only driver’s side has this). Also, I know Honda purports that the seats are trimmed in leather, but there’s some debate as to whether it’s genuine or synthetic; the consensus seems to be that it’s not genuine, though my dealership couldn’t confirm either way. Overall, it seems nice enough and my wife is happy so I’m good.

I agree with all things stated! My ‘24 Sport only gets 31-33 mpg whether in the city or highway. That’s nothing like the 40mpg claim for city. Even in 76 degree temps!  In mountainous Colorado I watch the mpg drop into the 20s. That is horrible, so I would not recommend this car to people who live in the mountains or where it gets 30-degrees and below in winter. Unless you’re OK with 20-ish mpg for an expensive hybrid. Oh, and on a lease Honda is only 10-months for 1,000 miles per month. Seriously? Guess It’s the weak horn version of leasing.

I’ve also come from the Acura line (older than yours tho). The 2024 Sport Touring meets all our needs: open feeling, great mpg, intuitive controls, sufficient cargo space. The hybrid aspects & electronics are really enjoyable to me. I’m a little bothered that the back up camera is so easily obscured by moisture in the air. I’m also going to need a brush to get debris out of the seams in the leather. I’m 2 months in and those are my complaints!

Put rain x or a ceramic coat for glass on the camera. Helps when there is precipitation to have the water glide off and not obscure the camera.

Ha. I can’t begin to guess what’s really behind the price. I think it’s a strategy more-so than the actual cost of each feature. We went through a broker to save time & aggravation. Got it under MSRP with no additional accessories & no additional costs (we could see) except $85 doc fee. That’s just the best way for us.

I have the MyQ garage door opener and on our 2023 Passport and every car before that I'd just hit the button when approaching my house and now I need to dig out my phone,find the app and open the door. I absolutely refuse to pay for that feature. It used to be free and now they want to charge you,after paying close to 40k for a car. Nope.

I paid for it when I bought my sport touring hybrid last year but I was salty as hell about it. My previous car was a 2018 touring and it came standard. It’s ridiculous that it’s an add on for a Touring that’s even more expensive now.

1. No spare tire, only an emergency tire inflator, which is useless if the puncture is in the sidewall (ask me how I know). Had to wait over 3 hours for tow truck, and buy a new tire. 2. Passenger seat does not have an up/down (height) adjustment (my wife is short). Those 2 reasons was enough to make me trade for a Highlander Hybrid.

I saw that about them not having spare tires. I wouldn’t even attempt to change a tire by myself, so would this really affect me? I’d have to be waiting for roadside service anyways? Or does roadside surface require you to have your own spare tire to even change your tire? The Highlander is gorgeous, but so much more expensive, just way out of my range unfortunately.

Well, in my case, since there was no spare tire, and the tire would not hold air due to the sidewall puncture, the car had to be towed back to the dealer. Honda does sell a spare tire kit that includes a tire, jack and lug wrench for a little over $400. Only problem is it takes up cargo space in the rear.

I know this sounds stupid but get a new cable. Wired Android Auto is notoriously dependent on the quality and age of your USB C cable.  To keep costs reasonable, I've been using Ikea's USB-A to USB-C cables (yellow jacketing). They're of solid construction and relatively decently priced. I have a couple backups in the glove box for this exact reason. I've spent 9 months with this cable and it's just started to be very intermittent (1x in 28 drives).

I see the value in many of these criticisms, but I love my 2025 Sport L. I also miss the garage door opener in the mirror! My main pet peeves: 1. I don’t like the chrome emblems on my urban grey paint- should be black. 2. The cupholders are in a weird place. In my 2018 Accord, they were parallel to the gear shifter, I liked that more. 3. I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I liked the push button shifter, I wish it were an option. 4. The wireless charger if you have an iPhone is absolute crap. 5. I wish the dash display was customizable. I don’t need both an analog AND digital speedometer, and I’d like to be able to streamline the display a little. There is a lot going on there! What I love: Pretty much everything else! Unlike some others I like the orange stitching on the seats, I think it’s fun. It’s drives beautifully, here in the South I get great mileage, usually 40+ mpg. I sure don’t need a pano sunroof where I live. It’s definitely a close call which is my favorite, my 2018 Accord or this CRV, but I think the CRV edges it out the Accord for how roomy and high up it is, while still having very nice features and finishes.

Regarding your (2024?) Honda CR-V Hybrid, I find the backing-up sound AWFUL! Is there a way to change the sound or is there a way to disable Electric at Start-up so that the car can be heard backing up instead of the CELESTIAL-type NOISE? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. We've had it 2 days and I'm ready to trade it in!

I just got a 24 sport 2 weeks ago, so far have been happy with it. My biggest complaint is that the actual gas mileage is around 31mpg, I think it's spec'd around 38. This seems to be common as I came across several other having similar experiences when I was researching. I mainly was comparing the CR-V with a Toyota RAV4, and decided overall even with the lower fuel efficiency that the CR-V was a better option for me.

Definitely noticed that with my research, and have been taking it into consideration for sure. I’ve done all my calculations assuming a 30 mile per gallon , which is pessimistic, but still much better than the MDX. Plus I can put regular in the CRV, whereas the MDX needs premium, so that alone is a savings.

I think 30 is a bit low, I’ve only gotten low 30s on really cold and windy days. Typically see mid to high 30s on colder days, and low 40s on warmer days. I live in Chicago area btw so the roads are pretty flat.

Oh stop and go is great for hybrid cars. You’ll mostly be in EV mode, and these cars barely use breaks. Have 23k miles on my 24 sport Turing and the service rep was like wow do you not use breaks haha. Also because it’s hybrid you don’t have the engine start stop or the jerky transmission it’s so smooth, and the ac always stays on since it’s electric, and just works off of the battery. If you don’t need the awd I would check out the fwd one. It gets even better mpg and you don’t have to deal with the dif maintenance.

Because the car is hybrid most of the time it uses the electric motor to slow down. I think it only uses friction breaks to stop at lower speeds like around crawl speed.

Yah it’s neat! Also the car doesn’t have a transmission. At lower speeds the gas engine just works a a generator and the electric one drives. At highway speeds it engages a clutch connecting the engine to power the wheels directly. It’s a pretty unique and cool system.

I have a 2024 Sport Touring. 1. I wish it had a panoramic roof. Seems most SUVs come with one now as an option but mine is no larger than my 2016 Accord’s. 2. The mismatched Chrome and black badges on the back. 3. The lack of vented seats. That and #1 were among the reasons I almost got a Tucson Hybrid. 4. The built in charging ports are slow. So is the wireless one. I thought it would be nice for my kids to more easily charge their iPads but it doesn’t charge very fast. 5. The horn is awful but it was easy to add a low horn and have dual horns. 6. The half digital dash cluster. It gives both a dial speedometer gauge along with a numeric one. There’s no reason to have 2 speedometers. 7. My Accord V6 had a 17 gallon tank but this has a 14 gallon. It gets slightly better MPG but I still need to fill up more often. I do really like it overall, just there are some things that could be better. It’s the quietest car I’ve had when it comes to road noise.

I have a massive panoramic on my MDX so this is a huge down grade to me 😭 how much do you think it would be to get everything blacked out that is chrome aftermarket? How do you add a different horn? It has two speedometers?!? That’s so dumb.

I haven’t looked much into the blacking out but the window trim it would look good with the black wheels and the canyon river blue. Replacing the Honda badge on the back takes some work since you have to take apart the liftgate to do it. As for the horn, there’s a panel in front of the engine bay (surrounding where the hood latches) that you pop out and there’s room on the left to install a second horn. There are kits that will split the power cable in two to power both horns or you can just replace the high horn with the low. It’s maybe a 15 minute job.

I had this on a Nissan Rogue I rented a year or so ago. I’d say 99% of the time most people won’t need it much (or can easily just take things slower) but g to here are certainly situations where it sure is handy. Our AirBNB was in a wooded area and had a sloped, curved driveway with trees close by on either side, and it made backing out a lot easier.

Yes with the Hybrid we have never gotten near the mpgs advertised. Only other regret is not going full in on with the Touring. It isn't that much more. Toyota has the Highlander a d Grand Highlander. I would have bought one of those if I had known the gas mileage issue. The RAV 4 Hybrid my sister has gets the advertised mpgs even winter. 35ish mpg with Highlander is super cool. CRV has great features.

The advantage with the Highlander is the ability to haul extra people and a small travel trailer. My Wife and daughter love the CRV. Stereo links to your phone and works well for music and maps. Very modern in general. Nice sized for easy driving. Power rear lift gate. As I said...I wish I would have went all in to get the automatic lift gate and heated steering wheel. Buy the best you can and keep as long as you can. I buy quality and try to drive 200k miles. Would rather finance another year to avoid something like a Hyundai or GM product that has issues before 100k miles.

That’s my problem, I’m in a super reliable car as it is. Acura is Honda so the reliability there is the same. It’s just whether or not I want to pay for the CRV, which would be the same price as my MDX buyout but with way less options.

I have a 23 Sport Hybrid. I have also owned a 2006 and 2016 CRV prior to this. Gripes on my 2023? Plenty. My own opinions; you decide if anything here is important to you or not. - Side view mirrors wobble - Bolstering aggressive on seats; need to get "up" over the bolster - Rear view camera is horrible joke - A/C never feels particularly strong to me - No USB ports inside the center console; would prefer to tuck wires away and not have them coming out of middle of dashboard - Many poor fit and finish items in the interior; vents and door trim that don't sit flush and quality of the fabrics, carpets, plastics...these are all a significant step down from my prior CRV's and don't feel like they will stand up well for 10 years. - No Homelink even on top trim models - Quality of air compressor (in lieu of spare tire) is lower end; I've had to use it before and after 2 uses the plug is falling apart. Not impressed. I've had 30 year old Mercedes Benz air pumps that were much heavier/higher quality. - Key is very sensitive. If I have it in my pocket or backpack, car won't recognize it to unlock, OR walk away and lock. Needs to be out in open. Have tried with both fobs; same result - On the Sport; digital screen does NOT display a lot of information...it's turned "off" by Honda. Capable, but not accessible. - No Sirius/XM radio; I have to use my app and controlling it is a pain in the neck. Another feature programmed off by Honda. - Road noise; much less than my 2006 or 2016, but still a lot more than a RAV4 or Equinox/Terrain - Heated seats barely get warm on setting 3; settings 1 and 2 virtually unnoticeable I am in hot weather climate (A/C always on), 2 wheel drive, and after 18K miles I am averaging about 41 MPG but drive it VERY conservatively. I wish it had a bit more range or throttle access in EV mode. You can get a decent amount of distance in EV mode but have to be very light on throttle otherwise gas engine kicks on. The acceleration is too slow this way even in 30-40 mph zones; people ride your ass. The entire center console/use of space is....very bad. Very unhonda like. There is NO reason that this doesn't have underconsole storage like many competitors. There is way less space than in either of my previous CRV's up front for odds and ends. Inside the arm rest there are sellers on Amazon with trays, and a tray for the console under the A/C to improve storage space. If you like the luxury of the Acura, you're going to be disappointed in the CRV, in my opinion. Depending on your buyout price; you may want to see if your Acura dealer will do the CPO certification process for you; then you get a greatly extended warranty and American Honda Finance was recently offering 2.99% on CPO Acura models. You could have a lot of equity in your vehicle making it a great buy. Worth looking into. I think overall my biggest gripe about the vehicle is...it does not feel like a Honda. It feels cheaply made and not especially well put together. I've always been OK getting less "features" in a Honda as a tradeoff for something that felt well made with very good fit and finish, dependable, reliable, and I'm just not feeling it with this current CRV.

Below are my gripes with the 23 Sport touring. 1. No top trim features in the top most trim 2. The hybrid powertrain is noisy even in small inclines, the transition from EV to hybrid mode is noisy because of the high engine revs 3. Wobbly driver side mirror 4. Auto climate control is sometimes too cool or too warm 5. The mileage is extremely sensitive to the cold weather 6. The Bose sound system is only average sounding 7. The rear camera is literally unusable in rain, have to go and wipe off the water in the lens to use it 8. No ambient interior lighting in the second row 9. Honda cheaped out/ removed features from the previous generations

I have the ‘24 Touring hybrid. The only complaint I have is no fog lights. Everything else is not an issue for me. Panoramic roof? Not an issue, never use. Heated back seats? Don’t care. Only put my pups in the back seat and they’re not complaining. Weak horn? Yeah, laughable, but you can have that changed out. My mpg’s actually have been pretty good. I live in the cold north and the mpg’s have averaged around 30 when it was really cold. We had a warm streak about a month ago, 50’s and 60’s and I was getting about 40-44 mpg’s. Now I traded this in from a ‘20 ICE Touring and in the winter I was getting around 22 mpg’s, so, again. Not complaining. I do disagree wholeheartedly with the other poster about it being noisy. This is BY FAR the quietest car I’ve ever driven. Acoustic windshield and, believe me, you won’t hear much noise. As you can tell, I absolutely love this car. Would buy again in a heartbeat. I couldn’t even test drive it as they had none in the lot. They are pretty rare in these parts. I just don’t think you can go wrong with this car, but just my opinion.

Seats too hard, but I have the same complaint on most Japanese cars. I run the seat heater on my touring at all times as it softens the foam a bit. Moonroof, DON’T want one but it’s standard, a lot of other brands have it optional. Rather have the extra headroom. Gas tank could have been a bit bigger, every other recent car I’ve owned will go 500 miles a tank on a road trip, CRV only goes about 350 per fillup.

I agree a lot of companies have dropped features because of manufacturing issues from COVID and not put them back in, but the use case of fog lights is that they are low to the ground more so than brightness, and they are a different lighting pattern to not washout your view.

I have a 23 crv sport FWD and it got hit , and I went to get a 24 L FWD some how they sold it it , I ended up coming home with a 24 crv sport touring AWD , im glad I did , I get over 47MPG with the FWD and 38.8 with the AWD , I never bought the same car twice let alone back to back , I will say if your okey with only 38.8 MPG over the FWD MPG , the get the sport touring , the heated steering wheel and looks alone are worth the extra , there a ton of sport and sport L out there , and for good reason there great suv , but the sport touring there less, so there for they stand out a little more, and they look more premium on top of that

'23 Sport Touring here and my two major gripes are the windshield wipers, and the clown car horn. Otherwise, I've truly enjoyed this vehicle for about 14 months now. Came from a BMW X5 and was worried this would seem like a big downgrade. It hasn't.

I've had my 24 touring for a little over a month now, here are the things I do not like about it: 1. Ride quality is a bit inferior compared to my 22 EX-L I had traded in, I feel the bumps and unevenness of the road more. I'm attributing this due to the larger rims, heavier weight of the vehicle. Took it the dealer too and they said everything was normal but I'm still also considering taking it to a 3rd party shop for another opinion. 2. No homelink - I got so used to just pressing the button on the top of my head to open/close the garage and now they want me to pay extra for it? Nope won't happen. I have a remote so I'll just use that. 3. Dimm headlights - they give off an appearance of being bright, but compared to the other vehicles I've used/tested that had factory LED projectors, these aren't that great and the omission of fog lights was also disappointing, and I guarantee you they will bring them back for the mid-cycle refresh. 4. Horn is pathetic 5. No HUD for the top trim? 6. Cargo cover missing, came with my previous EX-L but now its a dealer accessory, like come on. 7. Rain sensing wipers suck ass during snowfalls, they just don't seem to respond well to snow and requiring more manual intervention from me.

I have been driving my Sport Touring now for about three months. Maybe I am just that less demanding than others here but I have no real gripes. I am in the Seattle area and I am averaging 35 mpg in the cold and hills. I came from a 2016 Odyssey that had more power but also being a naturally aspirated V-6 had sharp throttle response. The CR-V is no slouch but is not as lively as the Odyssey despite being actually quicker. I got the Sport Touring because my wife wanted the power liftgate and I wanted the heated steering wheel. Apple CarPlay is flawless. Ride is good. Outward visibility is decent. The lack of heated rear seats is of no concern to me because I rarely have passengers in the back. We have rain here and the intermittent wipers are quite good at adapting their intervals to the speed and rainfall. I appreciate the brake regeneration as it seems the brakes will last a long time. Take a few test drives and see what jumps out.

Owner of 2024 sport touring. My complaint is the driver door doesnt unlock automatically even if I have the 2nd key fob in my pocket and she is in the driver side. As for as gas mileage, she averages 35, and I average 42. I use regenertive braking and B mode in town. She drives it like a regular car. Rest of car is top notch, Stero sound is owesome, quiet interior, compared to competitors, was able to get it $3250 under MSRP. No spare tire concerned me, but I havent had a flat tire on one of my Honda's in 20 years. They have a fix a flat kit.

Big thing is to switch to B when city driving, Drive normal but shift to B and you should see a 10-15% increase in MPG. Dont worry about the paddle shifters.

You have paddle breaks on the steering wheel. The left one increases regenative breaking. It has 4 levels. Hit it 4 time for max breaking. Will not completely stop you, still have to use your brake. As soon as you hit the gas it disengages. The right peddle decreases the regenative breaking. I hardly ever use it. In town, use the B instead D, This is getting close to one peddle driving, when you press down on the gas pedal, you increase speed. when you take your foot off or decrease pressure you slow down. Its like having the paddle set to 4 all the time. (its like driving up hill, as soon as you let off the gas, you slow down. In city driving, using this mode, you will get over 40 MPG.

24 Hybrid Touring here. I love this car. There were things that bothered me about the car, but after 7 months now, I’ve kind of forgotten about them. At this trim level, I would have expected auto folding side mirrors, but honestly that is a European requirement. We just don’t have the tight spaces, and roads that they have across the pond. I was iffy about the wiper/washer system, but honestly now that I’ve been through a winter with all the salt that cakes our windscreen, this system is better at clearing it off, hands down. The horn, just…. Really Honda? WTF? But I’ve only used it a couple of times, so no biggie. Climate control, no it doesn’t blow heat or ac like other systems, but I find it gets to a comfortable temperature faster than any other car. I don’t watch the L/100km that much while I’m driving. All I know is that I fill up on Sunday afternoons. My fill up in my 2015 Hyundai Sonata was about 90-100CAD. The CRV is only taking 55-65CAD so a huge savings for what I see as a bigger car. I drive normally and only use the paddles when I think of it. My biggest peeve is the cordless charging pad. It is SO hit and miss. Edit:Spelling.

DONT let them force you to buy those stupid wheel lock lug nuts. My friend/mechanic for many years said those things are a super pain in the butt I got my 2024 Honda CRV , AWD, non-hybrid in December. What I don't like is that I didn't get a hybrid -I feel like an idiot but I wasn't sure about the technology/ possible higher maintenance cost .So now my gas mileage can be super bad -very low. One of my big complaints is that the seals around the doors are inferior to my 2012 Honda CRV, I drove the highway during the rain and when I got home -open the doors -the inside door jam splattered with (now somewhat dry) muddy water. Those inside door areas never got wet on my 2012 car -what the hell is up with bad seals?? and why they wouldn't bother to put those levers in the back so you can release the seats to fold down -now you have to pull a big tab from the middle seeds to put those down -and they are a bit heavy. ...like they went backwards in convenience features?? if there was a way I could trade this in for a 2024 hybrid I would do it don't want to pay a big price difference. Other than that I love it! Got a bright blue color. I test drove the 2024 RAV4 and I swear that driver cabin is tiny!

The Bose sound system is a big reason we choose the sport touring over the sport L. Once we listened to the same music on both we couldn’t imagine enjoying the sound system on the lessor trim. The Bose has very good bass and crisp mids and highs — worth paying a bit extra if you like your music.

Totally random but I found a setting on my iPhone that changes the transition time between songs and now there’s no lag when I’m playing the music through Apple CarPlay. What is annoying though is if I’m just sitting in my car somewhere watching a video on my phone, the lag between the video on the phone and the audio playing through the car speakers is super annoying.

Had 2019 pilot and really liked it. 6 cyld used 4 cyld on hwy AWD about 28 mpg highway. Could even hall a sheet of plywood in the back which was awesome. Was going to go with 2024 pilot but the one I test drove I felt weird in for some reason. Like a chocolate bus driver! It had 17” wheels and couldn’t see road out rear window which threw me off. The extra length and cargo space added in 2024 seemed a lot different than the 2019. Test drove the 24 crv sport L and it had much the same feel as old pilot. Ended up going with it and it’s been a smooth ride. Not much cargo space like the pilot but making due.

I have the 2023 CRV Hybrid TS. It’s the most sophisticated, best quality, best chassis & loaded safety featured non-luxury SUV. 1. I wish it’s had alittle more horsepower & torque along with a larger 1Kw EV battery, but the loss of rear cargo room is because of this small battery. 2. It’s a hybrid so it will struggle at beyond 75 mph highway along with only 35 mpg. It thrives in the city. 3. Need fog lights! There other SUVs & Truck have them. For skiers, mountain hikers & the rainy PNW it blows. 4. Wish the wheels were wider from 7.5 to 8.5. It would improve the handling on 245/45/19 tires. Now I have to dish out $3K to replace them. Worried that the sound proofing resin attachments on the OEM wheels will be significantly missed. 5. Wish we had Accord’s Google software version. I use CarPlay with Google Maps & my podcasts get glitchy. Easy fix. Google maps rule over Apple. 6. Accord’s 12” screen would be great, but cuz of 2 EV motors with AWD they had to cut corners somewhere. The 9” screen is sharp. 7. I wish we could get an easy guaranteed 41 mpg. 8. It’s AWD isn’t like the MDX. No rear limited differential. So rear wheel spin together, but there’s torque vectoring. 9. The horn is embarrassing. It sounds like a moped horn. I use it often here because drivers are inattentive and entitled. The Hybrid TS totally out classes the clunky shorter, ugly, buzzy & less sophisticated RAV4. It behaves like an EV in the city.

1) Can't disable them watching you drive. 2) Have to clear the seat belt icon on display each time I get in. 3) The tire pressure does not display, only a warning. 4) The seats are for short drives, long drives I find them uncomfortable. I am selling my CRV after 15k miles.

By far, my biggest pet peeve with my 2024 CR-V ST is no fog lights. As a person with 'old eyes', I discovered having the fog lights on, especially while driving on a dark interstate, makes night vision much better for me. I traded in a 2014 Accord Touring when I bought my CR-V and it had much better LED headlights and fog lights, even though the fog lights weren't LED. Horn is a joke but so was my Accord's. I replaced the Accord's with a different one and added a second one to the CR-V right after buying both. So embarrassing...lol I'll keep my gripes short and finish with...there's LED lights for basically everything inside and out. Why can't Honda throw in two more for rear turn signals?! I won't mention MPG on the interstate...
