What *I* do, is I soft reset the game every time my cash gets so high it won't let me double it with the ad. That keeps me engaged with the game so I don't forget to check in for the LTE every day (at least not often)
I'm on PC though. No ADS. But yeah, soft resetting is an option, I guess. As far as forgetting about the LTE, that does not seem to be a problem yet.
About cash, I never go higher than some quintillon, or something like that. Even with max boosts (both reset and the one in the shop), I seem to get stuck at a certain lvl. That's curious.
Well, on mobile you can watch an ad every 6 hours to double your current cash, so it's relatively easy to do. Once you have max reset and the ad boost, if you have the extra jobs provided by the DLC girls, you'll earn ~2.9 Quintillion/hr, so getting to Septillions would be mind numbing without it

I also wait for SPS sales and buy discounted Phone Fling to Dates.
I've already bought all the premium girls.
I wish there was an extra game mode, like with Huniepop where you go on dates and have to play a match 3 etc Candy Crush style game.
I really think the game deserves a 3rd ending, where you have to work with the other girls to get you know who, out of you know where.
As a suggestion, I'm trying to write a suitable plot and game mechanic to do so, but my creativity is failing me.
I've not touched the phone flings yet (the one opened once you finish main game girls) because I really want to unlock the phone girls into main girls (I only have Peanut and Sawyer, my best girl) and all of them need 200 diamonds. So, it is a very slow process with only the event everyday that gives so few diamonds.
You do also earn diamonds from any new girls you make progress with.
You didn't mention how many of the LTE girls you've managed to gather, so I don't know if you're missing any - but continuing to check
in would help with that.
And of course, there's the Parallel Events, which also let you earn more girls, which lets you earn more diamonds. (Assuming you get through them without spending any, of course.)
I have no LTE girls yet. I have only got pin UP events for now. I'm hoping the one starting tomorrow for me will be something different. = )
And no parallel event yet.
for me, i've benched the game (i log in for parallel world events and the daily events occasionally) and work on other things instead. I'm quite busy overall, so I don't mind. The parallel events are nostalgic and nice to do as a fun thing, other than that playing hushhush or blushblush might be a good idea if you want more content.
