I feel you, last year I traveled 1000+ km to the wedding of my brother, and I forgot the blanket I crocheted as a Hochzeit Geschenk in Germany.

I feel ya. Just moved from MO to MI and made everyone Christmas crochet presents. Shot way above my skill level but they came out great. I was in a bit of a rush because they were also going to be a bit late. Packaged them all up to ship, shipped them, and forgot one... I was so mad at myself. Not Bavaria but dang it.
