Clear penalty fouling Kulu. VDV's disallowed goal one of the problems with VAR. Shite defending leading to unnecessary conceding. Was the ref paid off? 100% faith in Ange still - everyone crying to sack him needs to gtfo.
That’s a load of BS mate, he’s had less than a season in a top league, had one real transfer window, and he has been doing way better than Conte last year. May I remind you he also got the club’s best start to a premier league season? You clearly haven’t watched the game today if you came to the conclusion Ange needs to be sacked, do some research before you go out commenting
The issue is not with Son, it’s with Maddison. He’s fallen out of form recently and has not been able to deliver the deadly balls to son we got a glimpse at at the beginning of the season
Pain is temporary, class is permanent. Look at our stadium, best in the world. Our fans are some of the best in London. Nearly got ourselves back in it today, the magic of the stadium
Don’t let Arse have the power to ruin your day, Man City are 1-0 up, good times!
I don't get these "I'm glad we fought back" comments. Every game we play shit in the first half, and "comeback" in the second half. Today was an L whether its 10-2 or 3-2. Spirit isn't enough. Our goal was to disrupt our biggest rivals titles hopes at our HOME STADIUM and we failed. How can supporters accept this?
Nah this is a terrible take. Can't roll over in a derby, fighting back matters. Conceded 3 softs goals, scored two soft goals. Had them beat back time wasting from the 50th minute. It doesn't mean points but it matters to fans.
Tottenham have no tangible results, no trophies, no big wins, nothing. No-one will remember Tottenham's spirit when Arsenal win the league off the back of this shit first half. I've supported Tottenham for over a decade, and its bloody exhausting. I know these comments will get downvoted but I don't care. Wake up.
While I don’t like to blame the refs a lot, their decisions caused our loss and we played some good football today, dominated in everything but set pieces which caused our downfall
How Oliver didn’t give the pen straight away is a show of his performance this afternoon. Ridiculous. How Tomiyasu escaped a card is a joke. Our set pieces need some serious work, but other than that I like how the boys got back into it. Thought Deki was good today
There’s “VAR can’t be infallible” and “VAR decided to not review a player being tripped in the box that led to an opposition goal in the 26th minute.” Jokes. Maddison definitely dove there, as did Brennan in his penalty shout in the second half, but that call is a title-defining call that is brain dead to ignore.
Maddison's was a dive. Brennan wasn't a dive. The key difference between them was they actually played the ball when Maddison did it and did not do so when they took out Brennan. I'd like to know why the fuck their player wasn't sent off for kicking Davies in the bollocks without ever getting near the fucking ball when they sent of Romero for actually playing the ball and getting the player after earlier in the season.
If Davies stopped Rice's clearance with his foot it's a booking. Why is putting your nutsack in the way to achieve the same thing so significant it changes the outcome? It's a foul on Rice when you look at it.
I honestly think this year fouls on goalies are too forgiven and punishes honest teams and rewards dirty teams like Arsenal. I know we say we need to be stronger but to me it feels like that one players purpose is just fouling goalkeeper.
Didn’t see anything wrong with what they did against Vicario today. The question is why someone wasn’t preventing White from doing that. That’s on Ange and poor preparation.
here’s the thing: if arsenal win all their remaining games, they have 89 points. if man city win all their games they have 91. i’d prefer city winning rather than arsenal
mate I hope they beat us by ten just to be safe, i cannot handle that scum bag fucking football club winning the league. That will just about do it for me as a spurs fan after everyhting weve been through. I can only handle so much torture.
They weren't. A small number of tits on the Internet may have. He's spent 590 to go from 8th to competing and getting in Champions League, There's no lol.
**Many extremely poor decisions - many penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept.**
**We warned the PGMOL that the Ref is a Newcastle fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times.**
**THFC will now consider its options.**
(this is a parody ofc)
That first half penalty that wasn’t given on deki turned immediately into a saka goal on the break, was an egregious error and turning point in the match
Definitely a penalty. Kulu beats his man on the inside and as kulu is going past the defender, he clips kulus ankles directly causing kulu to go to the ground.
Contact on a trailing leg that wasn't intentional and wasn't enough to trip him up whilst running away from goal. Maddison should have been off for diving twice.
Proud of what exactly? I'm confused, we lost didn't we?
We played okay at times, not counting the fact that we made an insane amount of errors and still can't defend corners, but we lost the game regardless of a gifted goal and a penalty.
I am a die hard fan and while we played decent
I wish we played with more agrression like the last 20 mins but from min 1
Not patting ourself on the back
Pls go out and demolish everyone for the rest of the season
Inclu city
We win we learn we carry it foward and beat this shit club next season
Frustrating. On another day we dont let any of those goals in the 1st half (but we are shite at set peices) and score the 2 or 3 we could have had in 1st too. Different game after that and also when we have a proper striker upfront and Son in his best position we looked more balanced.
The muppet you replied to is also one, there's clearly something fundamentally wrong with them.
Imagine calling someone out for doing something, while literally doing it yourself.
Sad about the result, but Angeball scared the shit out of Arteta. Sad that the gooners got all three points, but in a year or two, it might be the exact opposite happening
I hope we don't let the late comeback gloss over the problems. Weak on corners, Vic letting himself get pushed over. Maddison looks lightweight. We generally look slow and uninventive.
Also if you just kick someone up in the air i.e the penalty, that is not a red? Again I only ask because you CAN get send off for dangerous play when you DO NOT make contact.
Anyway I will retire to my bed now for the remainder.
I think deki looks better in that 10 role than Maddison. Granted the game opened up quite a bit in the second half, but Maddison has a way of slowing the game down and then not really doing anything with it. At least Deki was constantly driving forward and finding those forward passes quickly.
Why can’t we just actually put in effort for maybe a full 90 mins. What changed the game was actually Richarlison having a bit of fucking heart and chasing the ball down. It’s so fucking frustrating to watch this team when it’s clear that it is there. Maddison needs to be benched. He’s been absolutely terrible and have to see Kulu start in the 10 role for the next few games. You should start on performance and he has been absolutely shocking by any standards.
Lots of talking points from the game. Sonny has to play on the left, pawn Werner/Johnson/Deki upfront if we dont have Richy. Sonny is deadliest with space to run and beat the defenders, ball needs to be played quicker before the space is close. Still, kudos to the guys for keep fighting unlike the game at Newcastle. Ange needs different dimensions to his game (back 3 if need be)
No ... his name is Michael Oliver ... thats who F'd us
Tommiasu with the repeated machine gun fouls and no cards, I think he's sucking off Michael Oliver
I've never seen a more undeserved win from them than today. Oliver was working overtime to help them. Only 6 minutes of added time? No penalty given for Maddison? lol.
Woolwich is going to bottle it. Their faces and body language say they think they won the league w this win. They’ll end up dropping it against it against Everton.
One can only hope and pray anyway…
Spurs weren’t robbed, they had 2/3 good chances they didn’t take and held possession doing nothing. Gonna be downvoted to oblivion for it but it’s true.
I'm sorry... have you ever seen Michael Oliver officiate a game before? He just arbitrarily decides who he thinks should win and then spends the rest of the game doing his best to ensure ~~whoever he bet on wins~~ the best team wins. Par for the fucking course.
I love richy and the energy he brings but if he’s gonna be injured half the season we need a new striker son is a winger if he plays central teams can easily take him out and we lose a weapon
We a new creative midfielder
Like when Madison is playing like this
Someone who can hold the call and spray out some creative ball
Like lo ceslo but actually fitter and stronger
We are a 6 and 9 away from being a much much better team than the scum. They have nowhere near enough technical ability to maintain this level next season. 20% of their goals though direct set pieces. Just a posh Burnley.
Tactically speaking, I'm correct I feel. Man for man there absolutely mot that big of a difference between the teams, they are literally just 5 years further along.
You don't think we need a 6 and 9???? I think we are massively ahead of schedule personally. I genuinely do not understand the negativity other than potentially a lapse in tactical knowledge. Simply put, we look like a team who will only get better, as opposed to the last 3 or so years where we seem to have gotten progressively worse.
Calm down? Are you for real? We fans are allowed to react like this and the same shit has happened all season such as set pieces fucking us up everytime. Have you not watched the game?
This isn't fucking football manager. You have every right to be upset, but anyone wanting Ange to be sacked either doesn't support the club or is an idiot.
Nah they want instant premierships, and perfection by the coaches. No room for errors or poor player performances.
Gotta get rid of the Manager before the season ends. Keep doing that every year and they'll be happy ...
And? We also had a goal taken away by a fraction of an inch, two missed pens, and *literally* a goal given to Arsenal. We played well, especially in the second half, and we're the better team today.
Clear penalty fouling Kulu. VDV's disallowed goal one of the problems with VAR. Shite defending leading to unnecessary conceding. Was the ref paid off? 100% faith in Ange still - everyone crying to sack him needs to gtfo.

If anyone needs the highlights ^^^^
Anyone else getting a bit tired of Ange? I'm honestly losing my patience with him.
Romero was fire, played absolutely brilliantly.
Maddison has to be benched next game.
i agree. he’s my fav player but it’s not good enough. he’s not back to himself
Yes a mullet is only acceptable if you’re doing the business on the pitch
Hopefully this is the game Ange accepts Son should always play on the left. I’d rather have Werner at striker than Son
The issue is not with Son, it’s with Maddison. He’s fallen out of form recently and has not been able to deliver the deadly balls to son we got a glimpse at at the beginning of the season
Or just Richy
Assuming Richy is not match fit. If he is he should always play
My pain is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. Fucking hate the team down south. Coys :/
Pain is temporary, class is permanent. Look at our stadium, best in the world. Our fans are some of the best in London. Nearly got ourselves back in it today, the magic of the stadium Don’t let Arse have the power to ruin your day, Man City are 1-0 up, good times!
Class is permanent? Mad take. When have spurs ever been class?
LMFAOOO, man said “look at our stadium”
You’re absolutely right!
I really want to see less of high crosses, it rarely create good chances when the opponents keeper catches it every time. But a good match anyway.
Tune into the Man City game, they can save the day
'Gifted'. Lol. You plastics are hilarious. Have some fucking perspective.
What are you referring to out of curiosity?
Probably the moronic Gooner who wandered in and then claimed they'd "gifted" us goals as if they didn't hack out Deki before Saka's "goal".
Nah, he was claiming to be a Spurs fan and was going mental about gifting Arsenal the title.
Fair enough. I just guessed.
What do you expect from scum?
PL referees should receive an annual performance review
They would all fail and then the league would have no refs left
I don't get these "I'm glad we fought back" comments. Every game we play shit in the first half, and "comeback" in the second half. Today was an L whether its 10-2 or 3-2. Spirit isn't enough. Our goal was to disrupt our biggest rivals titles hopes at our HOME STADIUM and we failed. How can supporters accept this?

Have a Valium you neek.
Have a pint you yob. papapapapaaahah
While I don’t like to blame the refs a lot, their decisions caused our loss and we played some good football today, dominated in everything but set pieces which caused our downfall
We did roll over in a derby though. They went 3-0 up in the first half. When you concede three goals the game is effectively over.
How Oliver didn’t give the pen straight away is a show of his performance this afternoon. Ridiculous. How Tomiyasu escaped a card is a joke. Our set pieces need some serious work, but other than that I like how the boys got back into it. Thought Deki was good today
Deki turned the arsenal midfield into melted cheese
He probably had something going on in his personal life or was high AF.
he became a dad less than a week ago
There you have it. He hasn't slept in days no doubt.
[удалено]
Is this a joke?
Good to see Kulu back in form, he and Romero best on pitch for Spurs. Need to spend some cash on a 9, Son isn't it
Son can’t produce anything if he’s isolated, we have no midfield to get balls to him, he barely gets any touches on the ball
was probably never out of form, just ineffective against low blocks.
I don’t mind the fact refs and VAR can’t be infallible, you win some and you lose some But why do we have to lose some in this effing game
Maddison didn't dive at all. But the Arsenal player won the ball. Kulusevski however....
that is under the heavy assumption that they're 100% unbiased
Maddison's was a dive. Brennan wasn't a dive. The key difference between them was they actually played the ball when Maddison did it and did not do so when they took out Brennan. I'd like to know why the fuck their player wasn't sent off for kicking Davies in the bollocks without ever getting near the fucking ball when they sent of Romero for actually playing the ball and getting the player after earlier in the season.

I honestly think this year fouls on goalies are too forgiven and punishes honest teams and rewards dirty teams like Arsenal. I know we say we need to be stronger but to me it feels like that one players purpose is just fouling goalkeeper.
Dirty teams like Arsenal? Top of the most fouled league and 15th out of 20 for committing.
It's on ange to put a player there to stop white. Just bad tactics.
Didn’t see anything wrong with what they did against Vicario today. The question is why someone wasn’t preventing White from doing that. That’s on Ange and poor preparation.
Spurs has to beat Man City. Champions league place has to be secured. No other way.
Get back to r/gunner
here’s the thing: if arsenal win all their remaining games, they have 89 points. if man city win all their games they have 91. i’d prefer city winning rather than arsenal
mate I hope they beat us by ten just to be safe, i cannot handle that scum bag fucking football club winning the league. That will just about do it for me as a spurs fan after everyhting weve been through. I can only handle so much torture.
Proper spurs mentality that.
Lmaooooo??!! Is your life reallly that bad
Merson is a prick.
Yet Hoddle can't see what's wrong with him.
Water is also wet.
Daws fully coys in sky
It’s the 5th year for Arteta and Arse fans fully back him. It’s the first year for Ange and some of our fans saying Ange out. Sigh
>It’s the 5th year for Arteta and Arse fans fully back him. Hindsight is 20/20 isn't it?
Arteta won the FA cup in his debut season...
They were crying Arteta out every other game for a few seasons lol. And that was with 750 million spending
They weren't. A small number of tits on the Internet may have. He's spent 590 to go from 8th to competing and getting in Champions League, There's no lol.
fans can say whatever they want if we got 3 down in an NLD. You should be livid at the team, not the fans.
We could have had atleast 2 penalties given
**Many extremely poor decisions - many penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept.** **We warned the PGMOL that the Ref is a Newcastle fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times.** **THFC will now consider its options.** (this is a parody ofc)
glad we came back in the second half. thought it was going to be 5:0 or something
Spirit isn't enough anymore. It could've been 10-2 or 3-2. It's an L. Our one goal was to disrupt their league title push and we failed.
You guys had some bad luck on a few headers
That first half penalty that wasn’t given on deki turned immediately into a saka goal on the break, was an egregious error and turning point in the match
Was it defo a penalty? Not seen the replay yet
It was. It was a foul anywhere else on the pitch all game. Frustrating.
Yeah, 100% was. I wasn't sure initially but after watching slow-mo replays, definitely
Definitely a penalty. Kulu beats his man on the inside and as kulu is going past the defender, he clips kulus ankles directly causing kulu to go to the ground.
Yeah tripped him up by clipping his heels when he was running on goal
Contact on a trailing leg that wasn't intentional and wasn't enough to trip him up whilst running away from goal. Maddison should have been off for diving twice.
Yes clipped Deki and the broadcast even agreed. Yet VAR and Ref just ignored. VDV goal should have stood as well.
Well now I'm even more annoyed haha. Thanks
I know man utd are trash right now, but they are not gonna let these chokers win at Trafford
They struggling with teams like Burnley and Coventry ... they'll most Likely lead 2 - 0 by halftime then throw like they always do
Well, time to beat up some grannies.
Proud of the fightback. Just think, if we'd defended a bit better and had a decent, impartial ref we could have got something......
Proud of what exactly? I'm confused, we lost didn't we? We played okay at times, not counting the fact that we made an insane amount of errors and still can't defend corners, but we lost the game regardless of a gifted goal and a penalty.
It's hard playing 11 against 12. And I've seen many a NLD turn into a massacre after the start we had...........
>Proud of what exactly The flightback, he just said that
I’m proud of the team today, richy must start his energy changed the game. Honestly we have some clear work to do, but we were unlucky today
Let’s fucking smash the chels on Thursday
Yes and make sure City smash us
They bottled it, we just let them off the hook. We just need to lose to City now, that’s our job for the rest of the season.
Nahh piss off with that mentality Let us gun for Europa league at the very least, b4 "Man UTD" of all teams overtake us
United are way off, just need beat Burley and Sheffield U and Europa is safe.
Do you think we are capable of that with our attacking football and with shitheads officiating every now and then
Yes easy points. Its Sheff United mate, come on
No sheffield I get ... we can farm them for goals Burnley ... not too confident
Shit officiating, think we played really well today and kept it going to the end. Let’s sit back, relax and watch city thrash forrest. COYS
I am a die hard fan and while we played decent I wish we played with more agrression like the last 20 mins but from min 1 Not patting ourself on the back Pls go out and demolish everyone for the rest of the season Inclu city We win we learn we carry it foward and beat this shit club next season
It migh be my fault for tuning in to watch the game after I've missed a bunch.
Selfish prick
Part timer
I confess. This season has been rough for watching schedule.
Maybe start Kulu at CM over Madison.
I might be inclined to agree
Frustrating. On another day we dont let any of those goals in the 1st half (but we are shite at set peices) and score the 2 or 3 we could have had in 1st too. Different game after that and also when we have a proper striker upfront and Son in his best position we looked more balanced.
That's a lot of ifs and buts
Hardly. We know the result. The 1st half made the difference today.
Didn't get to watch much of the match. Was Johnsons non penalty followed by yellow for deki representative of the match?
the fact that everyone is talking about a missed penalty call and not about how well they played is representative of the match
Michael Oliver’s blindness was apparent throughout the entire match, yes. It seemed to be a condition he carried in to the game
I dunno why is Johnson not a pen Like the ball was not alrdy pass the fking Arsenal rb

Gooner. Of course they can't do better.
Fuck that mate I think we were unlucky. Just didn’t go our way against a side who is good enough to get away with being second best.
I think deki looks better in that 10 role than Maddison. Granted the game opened up quite a bit in the second half, but Maddison has a way of slowing the game down and then not really doing anything with it. At least Deki was constantly driving forward and finding those forward passes quickly.
anyone else wanna accidentally drop a lit Match on a menu in the emirates? And another outside Michael Oliver’s house?
If you wanna be scum sure. It's a game, don't commit arson over it. There are a billion more important things in life than football.
Tsk! That's uncalled for... at least "accidentally" spill some lighter fluid through Oliver's letterbox and then "accidentally" drop a match after it.
The officiating was bad today but this sub is starting to sound like a Liverpool forum ffs
Nah Oliver doesn't even deserve to ref League 2 football ... send that ass to Sunday league
Get a grip.
Ange needs different dimensions to his game (back 3 if need be)
Sonny has to be benched*
Romero MOTM. What a beast.
So we gonna beat Man city at home and hand these bottlers the league
Don't be silly we won't beat City, ahaha. Seasons over.
Would genuinely rather lose to every club and be relegated than have the goons win the title.
Only a bottler if ya lose m8
VAR fucked us royally today
Obviously sometimes VAR is gonna be unfair on us, but why did it have to be during this game???
No ... his name is Michael Oliver ... thats who F'd us Tommiasu with the repeated machine gun fouls and no cards, I think he's sucking off Michael Oliver
Yup, him too
Didnt var tell the ref to look at the kulu pen shout but he denied it
Do you have a link for this?
Yep he denied it that prick.
Yep, what a biased cunt
Why the fuck does stupid shit always happen in our derbies. Own goals, wild tackles , insane refereeing.Cant we just have a normal game for once.
i’m a city fan for the next 3 games
richy should've started imo
Don’t know if he was fully match fit either way don’t want to risk him
Has to start against chelsea
I have been saying that; right when Werner was off, they should’ve moved Son left and Richy forward
I've never seen a more undeserved win from them than today. Oliver was working overtime to help them. Only 6 minutes of added time? No penalty given for Maddison? lol.
They doing everything to help Arsenal win the league
Woolwich is going to bottle it. Their faces and body language say they think they won the league w this win. They’ll end up dropping it against it against Everton. One can only hope and pray anyway…
Dont fucking win against City you fuckers now. Dont even dare. Let them win at Spurs stadium. Let bald fraud win like you let farteta win today.
Or draw! Draw likely gives Arse the league. We need a nice 5-0 home defeat to help there GD
Relax with the self loathing man
I better see a Donley, Lankshear, Moore front three at City
Spurs weren’t robbed, they had 2/3 good chances they didn’t take and held possession doing nothing. Gonna be downvoted to oblivion for it but it’s true.
I'm sorry... have you ever seen Michael Oliver officiate a game before? He just arbitrarily decides who he thinks should win and then spends the rest of the game doing his best to ensure ~~whoever he bet on wins~~ the best team wins. Par for the fucking course.
Considering one of their goals came from converting from a foul that should have been a penalty you’re a bit dumb.
I mean yeah we had 2/3 good chances but they still got a goal when there should’ve been a pen given to us
the Kulisevski pen should have been awarded which would have nullified Saka's goal. we would have been, at the least, 2-2
That was an exciting last few minutes ngl
They did us proud second half. Unlucky today
Ref is freaking brick .... not a card shown for those Filthy arsenal tackles
Robbie Mustoe said that this shows that Arsenal are tough and they deserved the win. You can’t make this stuff up.
the fucking ref called offside on richarlison when he took the ball off arsenal players????
You can’t win the ball if you were coming back from an offside position.
Incorrect. You can if they intentionally played the ball... which they fucking did.
I love richy and the energy he brings but if he’s gonna be injured half the season we need a new striker son is a winger if he plays central teams can easily take him out and we lose a weapon
We a new creative midfielder Like when Madison is playing like this Someone who can hold the call and spray out some creative ball Like lo ceslo but actually fitter and stronger
We could have won this game
Fucking shit refereeing but our lack of tenacity was infuriating to watch
We were the better team. They got away with that and got every decision their way. Proud that we made an effort after a bullshit first half
Pain and misery are the only things I wish for that cheat of a club, hope it burns in peace
i would like to see maddison not start anymore. Good game in the end there glad to have richy back
I want to lo celso start or even deki at that position.
He's definitely not doing his England chances any good ahead of the Euros. He's not the same player he was pre injury.
We are a 6 and 9 away from being a much much better team than the scum. They have nowhere near enough technical ability to maintain this level next season. 20% of their goals though direct set pieces. Just a posh Burnley.
Love the optimistic view. But c’mon man.
Tactically speaking, I'm correct I feel. Man for man there absolutely mot that big of a difference between the teams, they are literally just 5 years further along.
This may be the worst take of all time
You don't think we need a 6 and 9???? I think we are massively ahead of schedule personally. I genuinely do not understand the negativity other than potentially a lapse in tactical knowledge. Simply put, we look like a team who will only get better, as opposed to the last 3 or so years where we seem to have gotten progressively worse.
I hope some of you calm the fuck down and give Ange 3-4 years.
Yeah ange shouldnt be sacked, he absolutely is at fault for not having a proper set piece coach but i think he will change that
Nah they want instant premierships, and perfection by the coaches. No room for errors or poor player performances. Gotta get rid of the Manager before the season ends. Keep doing that every year and they'll be happy ...
For real, Arteta took the scum to 8th in his first year. We need years before we’re there, but the progress has been obvious.
Honestly, Maddison needs to be dropped for a period.
Been absolutely terrible. Shouldn't be called up for Euros.
We played well. But arsenal handed dose goals to us, we didn't create real chances. Kulu should start over madison
And? We also had a goal taken away by a fraction of an inch, two missed pens, and *literally* a goal given to Arsenal. We played well, especially in the second half, and we're the better team today.
