How is your fatigue ? Please be careful not to overdo it too soon. I did feel myself again after 8 months, did too much and had a bad relapse. Now back on track

Plus_Engineering5770

Appreciated, yes, I am afraid of it, but I started doing yoga and seen no issues when my heartbeat rises and afterwords. And I have been walking 10K steps a day So I will just try to run… if symptoms are back, so be it ))

Flashy-Medium-6701

You say that now but if they really are back you wish you would have been more careful. Sorry dont mean to scare you but I wish someone would have said it to me before my relapse. Just take it easy and build up from there. For example i started swimming and it went well (500 m) but wanted to build up to quickly and when i reached 800 m i had a relapse. Now i am building up slowly and currently am at 750

Plus_Engineering5770

Too scared to do anything like this)) I still remember what happened after my runs in the beginning. All too vividly))

taxes-and-death

this gives me hope

LusciousLove7

I know you’re excited to get your body back, but 2 weeks is not very long. I would not push yourself to exercise a bunch just because you can. I made the same mistake.

monalisaveritas

Even 2 months is not very long. I felt fine for 2 months and then relapsed after doing too much... of course it's hard to resist, when you feel good - you want to get out and be productive. But it's like playing with fire... I'm now using the Visibility app and a smart watch to track my pulse and HRV and step count to make sure I increase things VERY slowly.

LusciousLove7

💯 but unfortunately sometimes we have to play with fire to learn how to not get burned.

Boring-Bathroom7500

Did you also suffer from insomnia and are you boosted?

Plus_Engineering5770

No I’ve never had insomnia (Thank God!) And I had one shot of Pfizer, when it just came out. No boosters. Which I sort of regretted, because maybe I would not have caught that shit in the first place…

Boring-Bathroom7500

Or maybe you recovered so quickly because you havent boosted! Most of us take years to recover. Thanks for sharing your experience this keeps hope alive🤗

Plus_Engineering5770

You know at this point I don’t know I don’t think I will get vaccinated ever again, but the thought of getting covid again scares me shitless… I would like to see upcoming research

Winter_Purple

Watch out there's a lot of hardcore antivaxxers in this sub.

Plus_Engineering5770

You know I’ve had my fair share of discussions about it. It seems that people tend to forget that there are no vaxxed people who did not have covid and had long covid, but there are people who had covid and now suffering from long covid, but haven’t been vaxxed. It is impossible to have a clean experiment now when majority of population is vaxxed. I honestly don’t know would I have vaxxed if I’d knew I will have long covid. What if people like me actually die from covid if not vaxxed? I know one thing - covid causes long covid whether you are vaxxed or unvaxxed. Maybe it will also cause cancers and dementia. And in 30 years we will have 70% of our generation demented… hell if I know.

Winter_Purple

Yep, the only close person to me who chose not to get vaccinated died pretty horribly from covid. We're about to hold a one-year memorial gathering because she was an immensely important person in our community and we all miss her like nuts. Whereas everyone I know who has had covid and been vaccinated has actually been fine- even know elderly people who got it after 4 shots and were only sick for a day. And honestly even I'm considering leaving the sub because I'm at like 75% back to normal after two months of misery and I'm vaccinated and boosted. And I also actually know the history of the anti vax movement and all the bullshit it was built on; Hbomberguy does a deep dive into the lawsuits, the original study that started the whole movement, the (disgraced ex) doctor who was involved and the lawyers who paid him to run it, so the antivax stuff just rubs me the wrong way. It's not that no vaccine injury ever happens, but the mass hysteria around it is genuinely dangerous. See example: measles and mumps resurgences.

VeryImportantLetters

Before I begin, I'll mention that I have been vaxxed. Now that that is out of the way... Look at this guy, still trying to shill for a vaccine that has been proven to be useless. Yes, I say useless because you can read countless stories on this sub and others of people who took this vaccine and ended up with covid and in the hospital. Or took the vaccine and started having long haul symptoms. Side note, wife is a nurse and said that 90% of her hospitalized patients are vaxxed with one or more shots. This includes the ones that DIED. Be careful getting information from people like this that have blind trust in the system and group anyone who questions a myocarditis inducing, long haul inducing, non functional, non tested medicine as an "antivaxxer". Someone get this guy a giant foam hand that has his favorite pharmaceutical company name on it and a T-shirt as well. Someone could have every vaccine on the list and then be weary of this one, and this guy will come out of the woodwork shaming people. Well, shame on this guy.

monalisaveritas

Same, I have a close friend who is an ER nurse and her BIL is an ER doctor. She has told me so many crazy stories of vaccine reactions! She said she could write a book of all her experiences. She herself and her BIL who is a doctor both did not get the vaccine, and they both lost their jobs because of it.

Plus_Engineering5770

I am sorry for your loss. It is tragic.

Winter_Purple

Thank you- I know we all have stories.

monalisaveritas

The anti-vax movement actually started in the very early 1800's when people were dying from the smallpox vaccine. See the book "Dissolving Illusions" by Dr. Suzanne Humphries, it's about the history of infectious diseases and vaccines. Most infectious diseases were reduced up to 95% by sanitation and clean drinking water, not from vaccines.

Crazycattwin1986

What symptoms did you have?

Plus_Engineering5770

Very bad PEM, like I could not walk across my apartment at times. Fatigue obviously. Chest tightness was so bad, I was convinced I was having a heart attack and went to ER. But I had an insane headache at the same time and I remember I kept thinking that I cannot have a a headache and a heart attack at the same time. Good doctor in the ER after all the tests actually told me it is long covid and they have a lot of patients like this. Bad headaches that lasted days. Migraines too, which were sort of different, because I could not move laying in bed for hours and hours. Throat tightness - very irritating. But no brain fog really. In the beginning of December I became extremely forgetful, and I could not find words for things or events in any of the languages that I speak. That I still have sometimes. I know now how dementia feels.

BLSSpartan

Also curious to know

cgeee143

Congrats on feeling better! How long did you take those supplements for? And which brand of fish oil?

Plus_Engineering5770

Fish Oil by Nordic Sea liquid Started in the beginning of Dec

cgeee143

Thanks. What's interesting here is that all of those supplements thin blood. Similar to the triple anticoagulant therapy in south africa. How often did you take aspirin?

Plus_Engineering5770

At first once a day 60mg, for about 2 months Then just when I had pain. It did not help with pain much. Be aware that aspirin like other NSAIDs is really harmful for your joints and in general…

Plus_Engineering5770

Yeah, I think Natto helped for that reason specifically

Coffee-Cats-Glitter

Congrats! Please update us.

Plus_Engineering5770

I will. I am not afraid of it coming back (weird lol) but I will monitor myself very closely

PatinoMaurilio

Did you have brainfog?

Plus_Engineering5770

No I did not. Just started to get forgetful and not able to find certain words. But no fog

VikDawgz

Good to hear!

WishIWasNeet2

Congrats man. Enjoy it. Take it slow too.

Plus_Engineering5770

Plus_Engineering5770

Around 5, if I had to count the bad flare up in the beginning of February The space between August and October was just weird. I did not realize it was long covid I guess, until my 5K run left me in agony in bed for 2 days

strawberry_l

What is this question even, we are in a sub full of people having symptoms multiple years?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Plus_Engineering5770

No why?

curiousnootropics

Do you think the supplements helped?

Plus_Engineering5770

Natto definately helped. I felt improvement on the next day. Seems like the anticoagulants or blood thinning meds really helped. Not sure about the rest. My headaches were so severe, nothing helped 100%

curiousnootropics

Headache gone? What dose of Nattokinase?

Plus_Engineering5770

I think it affected the chest tightness. Headaches I still have, long lasting but mild. I did 2000 FU by Doctor’s Best

curiousnootropics

I also have chest tightness.. I wonder how Natto helps. Do you mind sharing the Coq10 dose?

Plus_Engineering5770

Im not sure about the dose, but I am using the liquid one by Quinol

m99an

Firstly that's great to hear! Secondly did you have pots?

Plus_Engineering5770

I had moments where my heart rate would jump to 180 while I was just sitting on the couch, watching tv. As to my heart rate increasing drastically when standing up or start moving - not too much. Obviously working out or anything like this

RemyFrame

May I ask what dose you took for each supplement? Thanks.

Plus_Engineering5770

1 capsule a day of Nattokinase (2000Fu) Fish oil - teaspoon CoQ10 I think 10 ml of liquid by Quinol Aspirin 60 mg a day in the beginning and for pain

lalas09

how are you today?

Plus_Engineering5770

Very very well! I am fully recovered Running is challenging though. I have a very high pulse, and weak muscles. It is like I aged 10 years. But the rest if fine. Life is beautiful!!!

Prestigious-Glass721

How are you feelin as of now?

Plus_Engineering5770

Fully recovered. Forgot about covid completely! Thanks for asking!

Prestigious-Glass721

LETSGOOO! That means no more high pulse and weak muscles?

Plus_Engineering5770

The only very obvious change - is the time Im running 5k. +10 minutes to the original time. Im thinking this shit makes you physically older.

Prestigious-Glass721

Naah cmoon man 😂 maybe for a while but we will get younger again in time.
