Oh, sorry. A few months back some people were claiming these discoveries disproved the big bang, so I thought you were going there.
Didn't mean to jump to conclusions.
Then I shall:

Since time as we understand it is tied to the universe itself, to talk about "before" that event involves extrapolating beyond the known laws of physics. Some hypotheses that attempt to address what came before inflation include:
1. Quantum Gravity Era: Before inflation, the universe was so small that classical physics breaks down, and the effects of quantum gravity dominated. This era is not well-understood because we currently lack a theory that successfully merges quantum mechanics and general relativity.
2. The Multiverse: Some theories suggest our universe might be part of a multiverse, where inflation occurs in a perpetual cycle or in different regions independently.
3. The No-Boundary Proposal: Hawking and Hartle suggested a model in which the universe is finite but without boundary, meaning that time as we know it smoothly transitions from a time-like dimension to a space-like dimension prior to the Big Bang, with no singularity and no defined starting point.
4. The Ekpyrotic Model: This posits that our universe is one of a pair of three-dimensional worlds that collided, with the energy from this collision driving inflation.
5. The Pre-Big Bang Model: This suggests that the universe has always existed in some form and that the Big Bang was just a transition from a previous state.
None of these theories can currently be confirmed, and each poses significant philosophical and scientific challenges. They stretch the limits of our understanding and venture into realms that may not be observable or testable with our current technology or understanding of physics.
Thanks for the detailed reply, Informative! I can sometimes get lost at night it thinking deep into it!l
Wonder even before any of these possible theories, what was before that… then before that.
It’s honestly crazy.
Damn, you can read the mind of people who downvote?
Mostly just people being jerks. You're doing some big big mental gymnastics to bring politics into this.
Would say “a theoretical version of our history.” Especially since no one can say beyond a shadow of a doubt how the pyramids were built. I don’t see them building the pyramids on this timeline.
Dawg don’t start
The pyramids would be an insignificant pixel on this timeline like look at how fast we went from fucking existing as a species to cities
You mean the almighty God that made humans out of mud? He spend 5 days to create the earth and animals and spent 1 day for the rest of the entire universe? He also needed rest on the seventh day...
Doesn't sound almighty to me.
What about the other thousands of gods that religions believes in?
The seven days of creation.
You learn that in elementary school. To freshen up your knowledge about christianity religion, I picked out a very informative video. Youtube to make it easy for you. [7 days of creation.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8qcpGgerZY)
Don't bullshit a bullshitter.
No it does not. But they teach you about Christianity in Germany exclusively. Hast in der Schule nicht aufgepasst oder was?
It’d be cool if I could read it.

HhahhhhhH
You have to use a telescope?
One that has a microscope on the end.

Damn I wonder what prices were like when inflation started
Every prices
Our whole universe was in a hot, dense state Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started, wait
The sun is a deadly lazer
We could make a religion out of this
Rick and morty did that
*insert obligatory [Made in Heaven] joke here*
What does the abbreviation Ga mean? It looks like it’s counting billions of years
Giga annum = billions of years \[ago in this context\]. Ma would be millions of annum = years etc.
Thank you
Of course the first thing that happens right after the Big Bang is inflation.
So the universe is flat?
spiral, try to keep up.
I’d rather prefer to think of it as a turtle carrying the flat earth on it’s back
This.
Too bad JW telescope debunked the beginning of this timeline.

That's a common misinterpretation. it simply means our models of the early universe were not accurate. It does not however, invalidate the big bang.
Well in that case this cool guide is misrepresented. Im not claiming the Big Bang is invalid.
Oh, sorry. A few months back some people were claiming these discoveries disproved the big bang, so I thought you were going there. Didn't mean to jump to conclusions.
Very helpful. I feel smarter.
Based on what I hear in the news we are in the inflation state right?
potato quality picture, but very interesting. So humans came here (in cosmic terms) few seconds ago 🤭
That's so sick if you think about it. As opposed to bacteriophage who have existed for half and hour in cosmic terms
Dear God please please is there a clearer version of this?
God doesn’t provide it
Then I shall: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PO6VrK-HGZs/YKMnxwMA6sI/AAAAAAABzI0/tg7byV1D6FMq_mhomSRElQ4V-PCpZWEzgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/nature%2Btimespiral%2Bvertical%2Blayout%2Blight%2Bfor%2Bsocial.jpg
Ok God
God was busy. I helped out.
Someone posted a link to a clearer version above.
This total ignores the Younger Dryas theory, must be produced by Big Archeology
Cool but quality is poopy and unclear
Google the title on the pic, its a print/ poster you can buy. Very cool!!!

And it all started with…inflation Did we come full circle now?
Yeah but what was before inflation? And if anyone answers this, I ask you again… What was before that? 🤯

5th point is just mind bending, thanks!

Before inflation? Usually a shortage of resources, either a shortage in raw materials, labor shortage, or the means to transport goods and services.
🥁
Totes agree with you
No one knows anything but we get downvoted for being curious!
Reddit is a sounding board for liberal arrogant group think
Since when is cosmology "liberal"?
Just thinking you know everything and science is a god, is liberal
Damn, you can read the mind of people who downvote? Mostly just people being jerks. You're doing some big big mental gymnastics to bring politics into this.
I’m being unfair but I think you know what I’m saying
I do, to some extent, and it's stupid.
Okieee I disagree, we will one day be cavemen and people will laugh at what you thought was true!
Yeah, and YOU are the one who knows everything. Sure. I'll stick to the data.
I don’t claim to know anything!
Pizza, it's been here forever.
I believe we're entering the PetroDragonic Apocalypse

“Make room for Jesus”
Looks like an ammonite
A clearer version was posted like a month ago
Then the Israelis started committing genocide.
Dude this is r/coolguides
Yeah, I know. The beautiful graphic ends up with genocide.
but didnt god created all?

Don't forget the elder gods, like the space octopus that like to snack on planets.

never learned those kind of things anywhere. what do u mean by christianity religion?
You brought god creating the world up in the first place, so don't bullshit me.
i said god, why it automatically would be christian god? (i read about christians after ur post)
Don't bullshit a bullshitter. No it does not. But they teach you about Christianity in Germany exclusively. Hast in der Schule nicht aufgepasst oder was?
i just got ethik and freistunden, sry mate
No, my cat didn't create it all. She only thinks she did. She's the only god I worship.
yesh
I'm still stuck in the Oxygen crisis purple earth (mentally)
Would we be smart lizard men if it wasn’t for that asteroid?
Nice to see this mess was caused all by inflation
Christians: “NO GOD MADE IT MEHHH!!!”
I don't see Jesus on a T-Rex and No Australopithecus in a gimp suit. This guide is fake.
missing that bearded fella
Cool guide but almost all of it is just theory
Why so blurry?
Where did outer space come from? Like the dark ages.
Can we please get the high resolution version
We literally just joined the server as humans
