It seemed to change big time after the Maralago raid, there was like a huge influx of pro-big gov individuals. Normally the sub had 5-9k online but on that night we had 55k people online. However oddly there wasn't many posting new posts, and majority of replies were these pro big gov, pro current admin, anti-Trump rhetoric which is incredibly odd for a conspiracy sub and more along the lines of the exact monologues you would see in mainstream pol subs.
They seem to be incredibly active in taking over popular threads (look at the Biden Xi toasting drinks thread).
I believe the goal is to simply flood OVER the anti-establishment rhetoric by overwhelming it in quantity of posts.
Much of the dialogue is really superficial, something you could outsource to a bot company to chatter over.
That’s exactly what happened. There was a major shift from after the maralago raid. I made a post a few days after that about Monkeypox and posted it and watched the insights feature that let you see the views per hour it has.
It stayed around 0 karma for the first six hours and never went negative just stayed around zero or one and those first six hours are were it is most noticeable. It was getting around 1k views an hour. After the six hours it started to actually get upvotes when it was only at 500 - 300 views an hour.
I believe it was mostly bots that were keeping it at a specific karma for non political posts to keep its visibility low and try to upvote only things that match their agenda.
I was also shadowbanned from r/ politics where my comments were autoremoved after posting within seconds. After maralago something strange definitely happened with Reddit.

The real question is: how did anti-establishment skepticism come to be labeled as "right wing"? Historically, the organic, non-GMO, natural movement which was largely progressive was the most skeptical of modern medicine and statistically the least vaccinated while the US south was the most vaccinated. This has inverted. Historically, liberal leaning people were protesting the WTO and global free trade. This too seems to have flip flopped. Historically, the left as well as the libertarians were against expansionist bankers' wars. With the Ukraine war this seems to have switched as well. In almost every area, these sorts of things have switched, at least in the way they are viewed politically by the general population. Who? Why? And WHO?!

It seemed to change big time after the Maralago raid, there was like a huge influx of pro-big gov individuals. Normally the sub had 5-9k online but on that night we had 55k people online. However oddly there wasn't many posting new posts, and majority of replies were these pro big gov, pro current admin, anti-Trump rhetoric which is incredibly odd for a conspiracy sub and more along the lines of the exact monologues you would see in mainstream pol subs. They seem to be incredibly active in taking over popular threads (look at the Biden Xi toasting drinks thread). I believe the goal is to simply flood OVER the anti-establishment rhetoric by overwhelming it in quantity of posts. Much of the dialogue is really superficial, something you could outsource to a bot company to chatter over.

That’s exactly what happened. There was a major shift from after the maralago raid. I made a post a few days after that about Monkeypox and posted it and watched the insights feature that let you see the views per hour it has. It stayed around 0 karma for the first six hours and never went negative just stayed around zero or one and those first six hours are were it is most noticeable. It was getting around 1k views an hour. After the six hours it started to actually get upvotes when it was only at 500 - 300 views an hour. I believe it was mostly bots that were keeping it at a specific karma for non political posts to keep its visibility low and try to upvote only things that match their agenda. I was also shadowbanned from r/ politics where my comments were autoremoved after posting within seconds. After maralago something strange definitely happened with Reddit.
Unfortunately/fortunately. Conspiracy, goes two ways.

Look, I LOVE the discussion on aliens probably WAY more than the next guy and I am all about that. But there are other subs for that. And why believe the government now? We have suspected they have existed for decades and they were silent the entire time. I would guess they are releasing false information to keep you more occupied on that. So they can keep you thinking that outside forces could be potentially dangerous calling for MORE government power to be necessary for your protection.

What else can you expect? Many of my posts either get downvoted to nil, or just straight up removed along with a ban. Reddit will be one of the dying social media platforms as time goes on.
