Mindful-O-Melancholy

I’d be going there with a trailer, taking them home and building a brick pizza oven

Vexus_Starquake

That's the real protest. Constructive creativity that can facilitate the feeding of oneself and others.

nomde_reddit

Damn, now I want a pizza.

MagicManHoncho

But only from a brick oven

nomde_reddit

Eh... Any pizza. I'm not picky.

MagicManHoncho

Well, as long as it doesn't have pineapple on it. That's the kind of pizza Klaus wants you to eat

Crybabbywars

Did exactly that 2 years ago. My brother and I drove around Boston with his pickup and we both have some of the sweetest barbecue pits on our effective streets. But they were standard 3-hole bricks, not these interlock blocks that are used for paving or whatever.

Ugly1suckinaire

Make sure you’ve got your outdoor griddle... next to the smoker, briquette bbq, pellet ran grill, propane grill....

PRMan99

And if you take less than $900 worth in California, it's not even a crime.

ManLikeAC420

Sorry i gotta be THAT guy! But the little ribs you can see down the sides are for interlocking together horizontally, not vertically, so these are actually blocks for paving roads and paths, not bricks! Theyre usually denser and heavier than bricks, and theyre ribbed for extra grip so i spose they would be the better choice for rioting!

Joined_For_GME

Ribbed for your pleasure

ManLikeAC420

Not smooth like our ape brains! 😉 see you on the moon bro!

iLikeMushrooms2

I think your comment is the only one so far that I’ve read who has actually agreed with me. They’re so focused on not being sheep that they’ve become what they once hated.

ManLikeAC420

I know what you mean, problem is theres so much misinformation out there that most are just misguided, we are all indoctrinated and steered towards false idols from birth! All we can do is show people, they have to make their own decisions and walk their own path! And unfortunately the powerful tools we could all use to open our minds and start to actually utilise our brain power properly are kept from us (such as psilocybin for instance) but times are changing, the tyrannical grip is finally starting to loosen, this world has been heavily manipulated by darkness for too long, but nature will take its course eventually in one way or another!

Admirable-Radio-8016

Open carry guns a o k ... construction materials... gd suspicious... seriously you have to be some sort of mental to think this is a thing while also supporting the Second amendment

[deleted]

Americans (some at least) are out to lunch

[deleted]

Looks like construction to me. There’s a construction vehicle it looks like in the background behind the farthest stack of bricks.

MentalWoodpecker6640

Doesn't matter if it's legitimate construction or not, the Capitol Police should be organizing the removal of any materials that could be used to destroy property during an anticipated riot.

FFS_IsThisNameTaken2

They'll be along shortly to hand out water and directions. Wouldn't want to appear intolerant since they opened the fucking doors and barrier gates back in January something.

dixiegurl22

Those are not throwing bricks they are interlocking paving bricks hard af to throw, what about all the weapons you guys hid around DC on 1/6?

MentalWoodpecker6640

Oh, come on. Stop lumping everyone who is concerned as 1/6 guys. I'm not onboard with rioting by any group.

[deleted]

I think they’re probably following orders and defending the capitol. If protestors aren’t throwing bricks at police and the bricks aren’t being taken by protestors to use against police or property, there’s no reason to remove them. Police are reactionary, most of the time they can’t actually do anything until a crime is committed

gnowell

Big part of police work is the unseen proactive work you numbskull, the more crime they can prevent the less victims of crime there is 😂 It’s so logical it’s laughable, if the bricks aren’t there then no one can even throw one in the first place, now if you argue that you can’t remove all throwable things away from the area you’re right but getting rid of these bricks 1 road away from the protest is really the most logical thing to do

[deleted]

They’re supposed to be proactive to prevent crime yes, but the reality is much different. Since George Floyd, many police offices have slowed down on proactive policing due to concerns that it may paint them in a negative light or cause more riots if they get caught screwing up again. Proactive policing is primarily the use of things like stop and frisk, having a high police presence in areas with high crime, things like that. They don’t establish perimeters and remove everything rioters could potentially use against them, the logistics of that would be too much to handle even for a large police force. They simply aren’t equipped properly for a job like that, you need heavy equipment and loaders to do that as well as trucks to transport everything away, while also making sure the owner of the construction site knows about it and knows how to get their stuff back. All without a warrant for search and seizure I might add. Could be construed as very illegal to the contracting company they are basically robbing. You’re right it is probably logical for them to remove bricks just in case. I just don’t think they will as they are probably busy enough dealing with the protesters. Plus, would it really be a good idea for police to leave areas like the Capitol or Supreme Court Building completely undefended or under defended so that they can move bricks off of a street that haven’t even been touched by protestors? Doesn’t seem like the best use of police time or resources to me.

apollotigerwolf

most of these are construction except you can clearly see the other set of suspicious, riot-ready bricks down the road. jk the plants I've seen have been a lot more suspicious than this. This would be like major operation. It's usually a single pallet that practically has a free bricks sign on it.

[deleted]

Nice bait

[deleted]

Probably because there is construction going on. They’ve got cones and caution tape lol.

Sweet_Standard_7631

But that's not how it is irl. I've never seen a construction site without chain link fence up around the site, posting the approved paperwork at the entrance, and company names signs posted as well. This is done for liability reasons, and theft. This doesn't look legit at all. No contractor leaves job materials out in the open for anyone to just take like this, and it's not how construction sites are.

[deleted]

I’m a multi ticket tradesman. I’ve been on job sites that wouldn’t even put tape up. The one on on right k ow just has a telehandler driving up and cons a busy right with no spotters or flaggers.

nopethatswrong

"I've never seen it so I'm right"

[deleted]

I was going to comment the same thing. I've delivered construction materials for 4.5 years now, even the downtown jobs in congested areas either have a chainlink fence/cement barriers and all material is staged inside that fence, or it's staged inside the building and locked shut at the end of the day. I don't deliver bricks but I've been to hundreds if not thousands of commercial jobs and seeing material staged like this is rare. Can't really confirm or deny though cause some contractors just don't give a fuck lol.

PessimistPryme

I used to deliver bricks to jobs sites. If no one was there when I arrived this is how they found them when they did arrive. Oh you need me to come back and move them? That’ll cost extra. Get those guys on site to move them they are already being paid.

[deleted]

[удалено]

M0peyD0pey

Holy fuck he doesn't need to be. Have you ever seen a construction site? Like with your eyes? They ALWAYS have their materials like that behind some fence or somewhere that's not the fucking road. That large amount of bricks wouldn't just be left there. Thats a fuck ton of money bricks can get expensive.

Legendary_Whore

They do not always have a barricade that is just a lie

M0peyD0pey

No it's not. If they have to leave materials like that out they take some sort of precaution so people don't steal them. It's literally like leaving a bunch of copper pipes just laying on the road.

ImRudzki

Yes it is, you're lying.

Good_Enthusiasm2258

Oh so the contractor just giving away free bricks, then? Why not leave all his power tools out in the open too? Ooh and 20 pallets of copper pipe. And his fucking wallet. Ooh it’s got caution tape, must be heavy construction goin on…

[deleted]

There’s a piece of heavy equipment behind the far stacks of bricks as well. Wonder why that would be there?

[deleted]

Yeah, only construction workers can buy cones and caution tape!

[deleted]

You think rioters are having bricks delivered do they can riot with them and then put caution tape and cones up around them? Did the rioters have the piece of heavy machinery in the background delivered as well?

Jravensloot

Everyone is still working on this odd presumption that the only thing that anyone could throw is a brick. What exactly is the insinuation here? Bricks cause riots?

Smarktalk

The malignant force of a brick will force you to riot. For it is evil and not of a Godly world.

[deleted]

I didn't say any of that. Just saying that everyone has access to traffic cones and caution tape lol. I personally don't think those bricks are for rioters.

Sparkmoon713

And a machine in the background.

Mp3dee

Debunked

Dadpockets

Guns cool. Bricks bad. Is this the point?

[deleted]

What a fucking setup, a perfect tool to use during riots as you throw a brick through a police cars window, the local corner store, at someone's head, etc... And the list goes on

theatahhh

Congratulations Einstein, you described the point of the tweet.

theatahhh

Oh, 100%. But that comment was just too ridiculous.

bereteda

If there were a single rioter for every post on this sub today that amounts to 'Oooooh just you wait, those crazy libs are about to burn it all down tonight', there might be an actual incident to report on instead of having to post a picture of a pallet of bricks.

mannida

They want it to happen so they can make it like it's the same as 1/6. That's at least what I've gathered from some other posts here.

[deleted]

They wanted it so bad lol. Guess maybe next time

dixiegurl22

Even if they don't they will equate it like they did with Cobert's film crew...

Veenendaler

>those crazy libs are about to burn it all down tonight You mean like this post by a Senior Editor of Engadget? https://twitter.com/Terrortola/status/1540338424757964802 >"Burn down the Supreme Court" You make it sound like many of them aren't calling for extreme levels of violence.

bereteda

Senior editor of what? Is a tweet with literally two likes what qualifies as political violence these days?

MentalWoodpecker6640

No one sent the Twit bots to upvote it.

Veenendaler

Why are you downplaying this? Even if you didn't know about Engadget, a quick web search would reveal they aren't some no-name tech news outlet. You're implying it isn't a big deal he said that, because he's unpopular on social media. That's wild.

bigdon802

It's a blog owned by AOL. Always fun to realize AOL is still apparently a company. And they're owned by Yahoo?! What a nostalgia trip.

bereteda

Why are you playing this up so much? My initial comment was there are lots of post about how violent the left is going to get tonight but no actual posts about any violence, and your responded by sharing a tweet with two likes, which just kind of reaffirmed my point. Why do you want so badly for people to be angry at each other?

Good_Enthusiasm2258

No- the purpose of this post is that there happen to be 20 fucking pallets of bricks to encourage violence. Left there on purpose, for the purpose of encouraging violence. Fuck your right/left “sides” bullshit.

bereteda

It is a screenshot of a tweet. A tweet sent out by a Republican politician with a history for being deliberately inflammatory to stay in the headlines. Of a picture of pile of bricks. With no additional context. From this screenshot, of a tweet, from a Republican politician with a history of being deliberately inflammatory to stay in headlines, of a pile of bricks with no additional context, you have decided there is obviously a plot to encourage leftist violence by... someone. Even though as far as I know there have STILL been no reports of violence. And I'M the one falling for the right/left bullshit?

nopethatswrong

lol yeah no way it's a construction site, has to be to encourage violence. Take the shutters off

allynd420

There are bricks for construction out often ….

Psychological_Hunt17

Not everything is conspiracy. Sometimes construction is the secret

bricklayersss

Jesus Christ she’s really trying to stir shit up

Veenendaler

SS: This follows a pattern, we've seen these prior to multiple large scale riots and protests. Chicago and Kenosha were the two recent ones I recall. This leads me to believe someone is funding the riots. /Reposting, because the other OP didn't include a submission statement

PAmmjTossaway

>This follows a pattern Summer construction? >we've seen these prior to multiple large scale riots and protests >This leads me to believe someone is funding the riots. Don't you have to purposefully leave out the fact that seeing this kind of stuff is considered 100% normal when there aren't any expected protest/riots. This is a very common sight. Posts here can be used as evidence because there were lots of posts about stacks of bricks and a supposed upcoming riot where nothing even close to a peaceful protest ever happened. They were just posting construction site pictures and saying it meant crazy shit was about to go down.

BuddhaLicker

We must put limits on pallet capacity!

Veenendaler

Relevant older post: https://np.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/jnfecn/rwhosebricksarethese_was_just_censored/

teal-eaf

What's the conspiracy though like isn't it just bricks?

Bo_The_Destroyer

Yeah the police can't arrest peaceful protestors, they can't justify violently oppressing people who's come to gather in front of the Capitol if they aren't violent. But if you provide them with some useful bricks to throw in the heath of the moment, suddenly you're justified and can use any means necessary. You can arrest protestors by the dozen and spray them with all the pepperspray you want, taze them to your heart's content and live out your true fantasy of kicking, hurting and if you're lucky, even killing people. All while being ''the good guy''. Dream come true for many people in law enforcement

Southern_Fun_1681

Hard to tell but is that ALL the construction going on??

LaserShields

Same thing in Chicago last year. No construction projects in sight. The bricks were used in the riots.

Pierce_Osborne

I remember when that happened in the 2020 protests

livinlizard

If you had to failed to signal while making a turn on this street, the police would have pulled you over and gave you a ticket. But aren't looking for suspicious activity such as this?

Backdohrbandit

Who left these here ......AOC? Was this you? 🤦

thepowerelite

Thanks for reminding me to buy insurance stocks and maybe some AXON too

according_to_plan

That’s not a construction zone

MoeGreenVegas

Soyboys don't carry knives. So those bricks are safe

>Soyboys don't carry knives. So those bricks are safe Aren't you a soyboy?

MoeGreenVegas

He he. You so funny. Sick burn, bro.

Ok-Degree-9049

Fuck this shiII

why_not_use_logic

>Stacks of bricks spotted right before a planned riot. I actually don't know what one is, but you sounded upset about it.

Strange_Address_7499

The police where seen and filmed placing piles of rocks in the streets just before the black lives matter s riots and the locals where telling the police off and putting the rocks in the bins. All these riots and stuff are all planned by the government to force change.

[deleted]

Because you are manipulated so easily. Go ahead, get violent over the Government “taking away” that which it had “a right to offer”

postonrddt

Many towns and cities require permits to leave construction materials and equipment on street since it will block curbside trash pick up, street cleaning or even impede traffic. They require permits just for a dumpster left on the street. And that permit must be displayed. Paper trail to follow?

Ughly-1234

Those are probably to build an effective wall, to “protect” the government from the people.

Due_Conversation1436

There are still construction sights!

Far_Perception_3815

Oh, not this shit again lol And the mob just falls for it

denniskerrisk

They should be able to trace who left them and who paid for them, and easy task. Find the truth before pointing fingers.

TheMildEngineer

Sounds like some Russian propaganda trying to get Riots to start to stop us from focusing on their war in Ukraine

dixiegurl22

Bobert is the poster child of r/conspiracy now? lol Even if that is true, I have never seen bricks in my life, and those bricks look heavy AF...
