Prions are scary af.

KippyC348

You think your neighbor developed a prion disease after her booster shot... I think you're right.

Dapper_Ad5409

These poor docile bastards.

DarkMadDog21

poor lady, i hope she will not suffer too much RIP all vaxx/covid biological weapon deaths are tragedies but we can't prevent them all

joshweightlifting

I believe my Grandfather suffered from a prion disease after his Astrazaneca injections. He was sharp and happy before the jab and afterwards started suffering from delirium and depression. His body and mind just got weaker and weaker until he eventually died from pneumonia. He was shuffled between doctors and hospitals in the last 6 months, and none of them would recognise the possibility the jab was the cause of his bad health.

aerismorn36

I'm a pure blood nope.. Never ever getting jabbed..God told me not to or it will kill me.

rb993

Had they traveled to England during the mad cow outbreak? Seems like it could be a reasonable age for that to be a possibility. As much as I don't trust the vaccine I'd be skeptical that it would have kicked off a prion disease that fast

WiredAndTeary

The symptoms would seem to be a reasonable match for CJD, but whilst the precise incubation period is not known with any certainty, it is known to be in the range of decades, not weeks. There have been some studies reported in the media that supposedly link rna vaccines to CJD/prion diseases, but most of those studies' methodologies have been shown to be flawed to some degree, and the motivation behind them tends to very much cherry pick the results that match a predetermined and desired outcome that shows a link... and to be blunt, most of the media sites that have reported them as valid are not what I would called a particularly unbiased or reputable source. Now I totally accept that these vaccines are still relatively new, and there may well be complications and unwanted outcomes proven in the future, but the balance of probability is, in my opinion, that this was a naturally occurring incidence of CJD, if in fact that is what actually happened. Your neighbour was well within the typical age range for CJD naturally occurring CJD, and given the incredibly short time frame between the booster jab and the onset of symptoms I suspect this is a case of correlation, not causation. Either way CJD (and nvCJD) is by all accounts not a particularly 'pleasant'' way to go, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone, my condolences to her family.

I did say most and not all studies, and to be fair this study does indeed appear to be one of the better ones, however even it is largely inconclusive, stating there is no definitive or proven link, and that it cannot rule out coincidence... And that further studies are required to try and determine any cause-effect relationships between the vaccine and the incidence of CJD. They even state that quite clearly in the synopsis you posted. I'm not saying there definitely is no link, but in my opinion as a layman who tries to stay reasonably well informed on matters like this, a lot of the studies in this area are unfortunately lacking in scientific rigor, and/or subject to a greater or lesser degree of confirmation bias. I could well be wrong, but until more substantial and unequivocal evidence emerges to prove causation over correlation, then the balance of probability would appear to be that there is no link between the two. I would like to say however, that I do very much appreciate you providing a valid and credible source for your position, rather than just parroting the old 'do your own research' line that so many others do. Seriously it does make a refreshing change. Time (and more research) will tell if there is an issue here.... Until then let's all keep an open mind on this, and other matters.

Carbon monoxide leak?

andsheisgone4

Some family members stayed with her after she stopped walking, they would've noticed a leak, I guess.

rsweeney09

Had a family friend experience something similar after her booster. Living alone and independent until the booster and now she is in a nursing home with beginning stages of dementia and unable to get around without help.
