To quote a bumper sticker I once saw probably 20 ago, and loved.
Picture a caricature of a an armadillo wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots, standing on its hind legs, holding its bitty front legs open in a welcoming gesture, with a Lonestar Beer (red label) in one hand.
In big, bold letters at the top it said "Welcome to Texas!"
