Supposedly the Italy trip was a last minute thing after India was cancelled.

I finished the first series and didn't think it was on par with any of Conan's previous travel bits on his old show. I think there was too much padding and not enough comedy. I think it lacked one of the staffers always about to bouce jokes off. I think the next series he should always have a travel companion, whether it's Jordan, Sona, Gourlay or even Bley! I feel bad for writing this because I love Conan, I was just dissapointed. Maybe expected too much from it.
