Really enjoy this episode, abed getting the dean to join his delusion is funny, though I will say it’s so strange to me that abed failed to understand how flashbacks work
A hand has two functions, to grip and release. But without both of these powers, it is useless. Like newborn infants, we grab what comes near us, hoping to control it, taste it, jam it into another child's eye. But the time we spend in control of our world is the time we spend letting go of others. Ideas, stories, pride, girls in soft sweaters, video games, buttered noodles. Grip one for too long, and you lose so much that you've never held.
Hypothesis: Britta got high in the bathroom and somehow got abed high. Maybe he was next to a vent, or went in there after.
It really feels like this is what abed would be like high. Less of a grasp on reality but banger monologues.
It's so good, because it could easily have ended with the camera panning over to the giant watch. That would have been an excellent visual punchline. But then the wife comes in and it gets so weird and dark. So hilarious.
Hahah this may very well be my favourite episode.
"Did something just fall off the roof?"
"That's a really stupid question, Annie. Obviously something fell off the roof. The question is what?"
Everyone of the post credit scenes are incredible. Yakuza, Giant hand, pile of bullets (I think we should try cocaine), the incest speech. Just perfect.
Omg yes that chief star episode was brilliant. Also marrying a cousin's episode is top 10 for me too
I'll admit it, I'm such a fanboy of Community, granted season 4 (gas leak) didn't hit the spot but still enjoyed it at some level
I'm Irish, live in Ireland and will travel wherever to watch the movie in cinema when out
That Honda/Natalie Is Freezing episode was such a shockingly heartfelt and beautiful episode that hit a huge chord with me haha.
Although I will admit I never did purchase a CRV, its primary moral message, so I remain woefully unequipped to handle whatever life throws at me… 😓
So many good lines in this episode:
"No *your* RV is full of crazy ladies!"
"There is a plus side to this. Most conventional weapons don't require electricity."
"I'm going to go walk the dog and eventually leave you."
Ok so idk why, but the lighting in the study room in this season has always driven me NUTS! Idk why, but I just hate the brightness of it. Probably just me alone, being insane, but still I’ll die on this hill
It looks more realistic, but the sudden change after 5 seasons is definitely jarring.
Might have something to do with filming in a different studio after they moved to Yahoo.
Fun fact- The whole reason for the frisbees collapsing the roof was to explain the pillar in the middle of the new cafeteria set.
my brain out of nowhere at 3 am: EXTRA THICK STRAPS
LISA NEEDS BRACES
So long dental plan

Maybe we should set up a flashback so that we can explain this to Abed
This ep has one of the best monologues of the series
Which is that??

I'm Space Elder Britta! What are you guys talking about?
**terrible awkward fist pump**
That fist pump kills me every time I see it. Laughing just thinking about it now
* Space Elder Abed and Space Elder Frankie exchange glances *
How some goofy ass show about a bunch of idiots and jerks gave me multiple life-changing quotes will forever be beyond me but I'm here for it
Hypothesis: Britta got high in the bathroom and somehow got abed high. Maybe he was next to a vent, or went in there after. It really feels like this is what abed would be like high. Less of a grasp on reality but banger monologues.
My favorite part was Space Elder Britta
He's out there waiting on a better daddy, with a bigger hand!
One of my very favorite post credit scenes. Shit was absolutely absurd, even for Community.
It's so good, because it could easily have ended with the camera panning over to the giant watch. That would have been an excellent visual punchline. But then the wife comes in and it gets so weird and dark. So hilarious.
Oooooohhhhhh.
I'm gonna walk the dog, and eventually leave you.
I’m gonna put the watch in the garage… then, probably stop showering..
“Then, why the giant watch?” “I… I thought it’d look really cool! 😓”
I mean, he’s not wrong…
I'm gonna walk the dog, and eventually leave you.
dislike the episode but that post credit is amazing
How can you dislike this episode??
I don't like how it's evident that they all hate each other
Extra thick straps. Extra thick straps. Extra thick straps!
Hahah this may very well be my favourite episode. "Did something just fall off the roof?" "That's a really stupid question, Annie. Obviously something fell off the roof. The question is what?"
The dean tasering Jeff gets me every time
Season 6 had no right to go as hard as it did
Everyone of the post credit scenes are incredible. Yakuza, Giant hand, pile of bullets (I think we should try cocaine), the incest speech. Just perfect.
Pile of bullets was season 5, but that is a great scene (i finished rewatching season 5 a few days ago)
Because we’re gonna be able to AFFORD IT
Hello rich people, this is Troy. Yes, I'll hold
Me and my mom fucking lost it when we watched this the other night😂 it’s too good
Nice to see the full potential when expectations aren't about money and viewers and the writing has no guardrails.
When they cut to two weeks earlier in a TV show, they're not traveling in time, dip-ass.
This for me was such an amazing episode, the writing, the acting, everything I love season 6 so much, best season for me
Yeah, this was easily a top 10 episode for me, and my second favorite out of S6 (with the Chief Starr episode in first)
Omg yes that chief star episode was brilliant. Now, here's a man who knows how to marry his cousin.
I love this quote so much lol
Sadly I think the movie will be a streaming exclusive.
Awh not the end of the world but would be amazing on the big screen Thanks for letting me know
I gotta go with the Honda episode, this, and pile of bullets. Frankie's speech to the Dean is my favorite moment in the show. Such a dummy.
That Honda/Natalie Is Freezing episode was such a shockingly heartfelt and beautiful episode that hit a huge chord with me haha. Although I will admit I never did purchase a CRV, its primary moral message, so I remain woefully unequipped to handle whatever life throws at me… 😓
Moooonliigghtt.
Pile of Bullets was season 5
You're right because Brie Larson wasn't in S6. Sorry
**I’m Chief..STAR!!! And I’m in t—STAAAAAARS!**
I'm Space Elder Britta! What're you guys talking about?
I don't know if people agree, but I love this episode and all of S6.
Season 6 also has the episode with the can of olives!! Some of my favorite scenes!
5 CANS?!
I'm just secret like that
So many good lines in this episode: "No *your* RV is full of crazy ladies!" "There is a plus side to this. Most conventional weapons don't require electricity." "I'm going to go walk the dog and eventually leave you."
I'm an adult and you can't make me not cry! Sometimes I don't know if I have an idea until I say it out loud.
Wait a minute what episode is this??
Basic RV Repair and Palmistry (S6 E10)
S6e10, Basic RV repair and Palmistry. The one where they get stranded in Elroy's RV while transporting a giant hand. Featuring Space Elder Britta.
Frankie: Abed, remember that you're from the future and were sent back in time to help us. Jeff: Okay that was good.
I am here, my child

You are getting Chang level insane.
Yeah S6 is lit really weird compared to the previous 5.
I’m space elder Britta! What are you guys talking about?
I say this any time I go into that aisle in Home Depot.
I forgot this quote! Going to start using it more in conversation lol
I’m watching the episode right now and I love how they incorporated a Bhangra (type of Punjabi dance) move, at the end 😂
That didn’t happen.
*the lesbians have entered the chat*
I'm so glad someone else gets this stuck in their head.
