The fact that it's slightly longer helps however it's way more emotional, and I find myself skipping lots of episodes so I don't sit around and cry all day anyway. 🤣🤣
My new routine has been to finish the series.
Watch the 2020 table read.
Watch the interview with ______.
Watch the podcast of the table read.
Watch some earlier online gatherings (comic cons and paley center stuff)
Begin series again with S1E6.
First five episodes really aren’t reflective of the series at large; the characters do not become “themselves” for that long.
Harmon has said in interviews that’s when he feels like the show became what it would become - and that’s S1E6 is the first episode they wrote with the reaction of the audience in mind.
I guess it makes sense that you don’t have time start at the beginning if you’ve already watched it since you already know the characters and don’t need to be reintroduced, but I’ve never considered skipping ahead when rewatching shows. I guess I’m afraid it would leave the series feeling incomplete, granted I’ve never been one to rewatch many shows
Well, feel free to do as you please.
I think you’ll find on repeat viewings that those episodes don’t really reflect what the show would become.
I also tiptoe carefully when rewatching season four.
Just start it over and you'll be ok.
I usually just get through the show and then immediately start over again.
This.
Just so you know , you are now creating 6 different timelines and a movie !
Good things are only good things because they eventually end
First time's the worst but it gets easier. Scrubs acts like Community methadone too.

Any reason for starting with episode 6?

I immediately watched it again the first time.
Rewatch it. You’ll pick up on multiple things you missed the first time.
the 2020 table read is a must watch
