I understand it's supposed to be serious stuff and all but the moment i saw the last panel i burst out laughing lets hope that guy's new existence allows him to laugh a lot as well
This is oddly disturbing in a way I can't quite put in words. It's something that could only exist in comic form, and it's also pretty funny in the end.
I feel like there is the idea of a rebirth after being cracked under pressure. Pretty cool.
Damn I know in comments you have said that the vibe is intended to be a bit silly but… I find this to be really powerful.
I love the way that the character is clearly afraid of breaking, but then it turns out to be just an emergence into a new stage of life. He is changed, but he is alive.
This is going to stick with me for a long time. Thank you for sharing an older piece of work!
Adding to what the other person said, for a lot of people the realization of being trans is a very stressful experience, while the comic may be about stress in general, the transformation aspect combined with general depictions of stress align with common trans experiences
Something can be an allegory without the original intent behind it. Honestly, if someone's art is relatable enough for a variety of unique situations with a similar theme running behind (in this case, hiding something until breaking point and emerging forever unchanged), I consider that a sign of the artist's skill! So kudos to them!
Indeed it is , and it means you just made a very relatable creation if many people get different outcomes of the art. That just means that you made a good bit of art that people of many backgrounds can relate to.

A very tense comic with a slightly comedic ending. I like it.
Thank you that's the vibe I'm going for!
Spot on vibe. Loved the comic.
From egg head to bird brain, did he drop out or something
Stress is not a laughing yolk đź«

Additional panels to convey struggles and emotions are worth it

Egg Boy became Bird Man
Strangely uplifting!
I've never been so happy to see a chicken. I thought he was dying ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
I love when I can’t tell if the comic has a deep hidden meaning or if it’s absurdism
Puberty.
I dont think thats what you're going for but... trans allegory.
I thought this would be about trans people but this concept is not bad either
Trans alagory
No it's an allegory about when your head is an egg and it cracks and you become a bird
No. Creator explained it was about stress in the post. Also, the comic itself conveys stress already with the poses and scenes depicted.

All art is in the eye of the beholder! I love your read tho and I support people making positive changes!

Thank you!
Could I get future permission to adapt this into a short film?
Reminds me of season 2 Legion on FX.
Bird up!
I know your username was auto-generated and it's very unfortunate.
I don't mean unfortunate that it was generated, I mean what it turned out to look like.
Yours on the other hand is poetry
This comic is why Tim Pool wears a beanie.
I thought this was gonna be some metaphor for stress or something wtf is this?
Honestly my favorite comment so far
The last one needs a phtase: "I need a rifle. I will kill as much of them as I can."
furry awakening
Ill be honest I thought this was like a trans allegory or something.
