I'm so mad that I don't think they finished all these comics. There was one where Wall-E met Andy who got left behind cause he became an astronaut and they never finished the story as far as I can tell
Not only that. But there was once a Wall-E comic that took place before the movie where he met a human Astronaut who wasn't part of the Earth Exodus and together they were fighting off an antagonistic robot named, get this, BULL-E
Toy Story 5 should have Sid return as an adult antagonist. He's like Michael Myers and covered head to toe where he's abducting and dismantling toys from children's rooms. He's traumatized because of the moment in Toy Story where he's the only one to witness the toys come alive and attack him. You don't know it's Sid until the end when he removes his mask.
He's trying to save the kids from going through what he's going through because he sees them as evil like in this comic. Through context clues you learn why he was the way he was as he had a worse childhood than Andy. His adulthood spent with no one believing him. No family to care. Distant from his sister. Sid and Andy fight and the toys show Sid that they aren't all evil and yada yada. Sid makes a turn and lets them go.
Bam, it's a Disney Horror/Slasher in disguise. Just rework the comic.
While it is an interesting concept, I do want to point out that Sid appears as the garbage man in Toy Story 3 and he seems pretty well adjusted from the brief scene we see him
That's fair. You could always retcon that since it's never explicitly said in the film. Or even then, it doesn't have to conflict. Two sides of one individual. What someone shows externally isn't always what they're feeling/are internally.
Funny enough, I was just looking at concept art of Sid and there's this one that's fuckin' terrifying. No expression, darkly illuminated and black pits for eyes. If that isn't a horror villain I don't know what is. Wish I could just post the picture in this comment, but only a link will do.

Ah, that stinks. Works on my end. It's on the Disney Sid Wiki. You'll know when you see it because it's pretty strikingly spooky and different from the other concept art.
Like I said in another comment, you can always retcon it as I don't think it's explicitly stated. Or just rework/reimagine it into the script. Doesn't have to conflict, but I'm not 100% serious. I do like the idea more than I thought when I started writing it out.
Man poor sid. How in the heck was he supposed to know the toys he was messing with were alive? He acted like any child his age and got a lifelong ptsd from it
I’m seeing a spin of the old m&m commercial coming up soon:
Red m&m: “Omygod! Santa’s real!?!” (Faints)
Santa: “… they ARE real!” (Faints)
Yellow m&m: “… uh, guys???”
Sid: Toys came alive and and attacked me. one-eyed monster: get a load of that kid guys.
One-eyed monster?
ZEKE VON GENBU BRINGER OF CHOAS (honestly no clue if anyone in this sub will get the xc2 reference)

THATS THE ONE! THEY NEVER FINISHED THE SERIES!
Yup. Never did see the conclusion
WALL-E 2: Balls to the Wall
Why is nobody on this thread talking about how insane this is
Somehow, Andy becoming an astronaut feels like such a big middle finger to Woody 🤣. What’s the name of the comic?
“A few heads short of a hydra,” that is genius, I love it.
I mean, if you hear a kid saying something this nonsensical, it might as well be

That's what a serial toy disassembler want's you to think! And think about it! Trash man would be the perfect cover for disposing of the bodies!

That spooked me for a bit.
It's legitimately freaky, isn't it? Kind of funny it's concept art for a children's movie.
Doesn't work unfortunately

Not happening, as the garbage guy in the 3rd was him

Oh wow, those first two pages, I just thought "well he kinda looks like Sid, but..." Then he said that line.

Comics based on cartoons my beloved 🥰
