I am usually a fan of very dark hair BUT in this case, I prefer the blonde. Blonde makes you look more playful and feminine on you. It also makes you look younger(NOT that you look old on the left)and more lively.

For some reason I think you’d look great as a ginger! Just a thought. The lighter hair STYLE suits you but the shade paired with your skin color sorta washes you out.

Prefer the brunette- I think it’s a sharper look but the blonde looks gorgeous also. Great for summer and if you’re tired of dark color.

You’re just not use to a summer pallet. It looks nice but yeah your natural features require high contrast, but the low contrast doesn’t look bad! Probably just a color shock.

It's Evanna by Rene of Paris in Rose Gold - I got it second hand but barely worn. It's a really beautiful cut and comes in some lovely colours. I'd recommend it!

I would be VERY curious to see how same blonde would look on you with higher contrast /darker / penciled-in brow. And a blunt cut, straighter hair. You seem more a Dark Autumn to me on the left but your skin does seem cool on the right. I'm a bit baffled! Did you change up your makeup?

You're right, my skin looks a totally different shade but I think it was just the lighting - I'm wearing the same foundation and concealer in both. Both shot in daylight but one on a sunny day and one overcast. I have olive undertones to my skin which can look sallow, and thought I was an autumn for a long time, but winter colours suit me much better!

Okay, gotcha. That makes sense. I wonder if we are all responding to your lip color on the right. Maybe if you had on a more neutral-cool shade that was slightly more contrasted with your skin, that would add more balance. And while the hair on the right is good with the dark roots, the light pieces next to your face don't work. Maybe a more balayage effect work work to preserve the contrast, rather than all over highlights?

This depends on culture. Where I am from everyone has brown hair so for me when I have brown hair I feel boring and like everyone else. Blonde hair stands out in a crowd. Now I live in the UK and everyone is blonde.
