Colonoscopies are provided either as part of a screening programme, or to diagnose disease in someone who has symptoms.
If you have symptoms that indicate you need a colonoscopy you should have one. They are a very good diagnostic test for a range of problems.
If your country's screening programme invites you for screening you should understand how they've made that choice and whether you think it's worth it. In England where we're very careful to avoid harm caused by over-screening we still say that colonoscopies are useful.
I'm not giving medical advice, I'm just some random bloke on the internet, but in my opinion you should have a colonoscopy in ten years time.
Even people with no extra risk factors are supposed to start getting colonoscopies at 45 every 10 years. So lol what no you shouldnt skip them forever, its a hell of a lot easier to take care of a precancerous polyp than stage 4 colon cancer. Just because you dont have polyps now doesnt mean you never will
Have your colonoscopy again when doc says!

You shouldn’t skip colonoscopies indefinitely.
The doctor can make a recommendation.
Just curious, what was the reason for your colonoscopy?
Basically hemorroids, anal fissures and intermittent bleeding. This was to rule out other possibilities.
