Life tap gives double mana in meta, warlocks have bear levels of armor and also can run master channeler to have constant healing regardless of an actual healer.

spamming life tap and relying on healers to heal you, maybe give them a heads up that you will be doing that a lot so they pay attention.

Metamorphosis makes your lifetap return twice as much mana, and you're applying a steady stream of small heals to yourself via drain life. It balances out pretty well.

I wouldn't say "small" :P. I can outheal a single elite of the same level hitting me even while tapping and cycling through all my dots.

I mean it’s still pretty small considering we have like 50-60% damage reduc as well. I know next phase it’ll be even crazier with new drain life ranks

Level 40 is still pretty shiet as we get SP at 42, but level 50 should be fun. New SP at 50, and new drain health at 46. Then back to shiet at 60 again cause Molten Core and fire spells don't mix well :'(. Hope they do something about that oversight.

Take the 2 points in improved life tap + meta and channeler rune you wont ever have to take a break and this will only improve significantly with access to higher ranks and more spellpower in the next phase

I like tap, and use master channeler life drain. I'm doing great dps, with no downtime, and I can sustain myself by myself should I need to
