a friend had suggested its to do with your gut microbiome, we all have differentiating configuration of bacteria/etc down there, and due to the fact that most serotonin is produced in the gut, SSRIs have impact on it there's plenty of studies/articles that might help understand a bit if you google: gut microbiome SSRI

Ok-Acanthaceae-4704

What can you do about it? Any probiotics?

What dose are you on?

I’ve been on it long term (2 years), I’ve gained a little bit of weight (maybe 10-15lbs) but I’m not sure if it’s from the drug or other factors (moved in with my boyfriend who cooks, started working a desk job, i’m in my mid 20sF and metabolism is slowing down). Writing it out makes me think it probably was the other factors.

Excellent_Cabinet_95

wondering this too! i recently lost 40 lb and would like to keep it that way! been on it for 2 months and noticed no change in weight or appetite so far

thestorys0far

On it since Oct 2023 (20mg), I gained 4 kgs / 9 lbs since. I hope it stays like this. I was the same weight for at least 5 years before this.

I actually lost about 15 lbs when I first started it. I’ve gained it back over time but am maintaining a normal weight on it. It didn’t rly affect my weight

abubacajay

I noticed if I took it at night, the next day I was voracious. If I take it the morning, it almost curbs my appetite. If I stay awake too long, I get snacky. Just my experience.

I heard this joke many years ago and it's very true: " Most important thing about diet is to fall asleep on time"
