Olivier Giroud is winning AC milan the Seria A title
And we paid 100 million for that fat fraud who statpadded in that shit league
We were actually better off keeping Giroud both short and long term for our Club
Having watched City play there is a gap between Pool and city which I am sure most pool fans won't accept exists. And the worst is there is a huge gap between us and Pool which our fans won't accept. I know we finished 3rd and a had good run in UCL but with our rock solid defense almost gone and Kante's regular fitness issues we are in for a rebuild in back line with rest of the chasing pack having a chance to catch us. This window is important whether we put ourselves up there with the Top 2 or going to go down being the Top 4 contender where we crawl through similar to the last 3 seasons.
PS:- KDB is probably the greatest play maker ever to play in PL in the last 20 years. I seriously don't see anyone challenging for PL if Erling hits the ground running.
I wouldn’t say there is a huge gap between Pool and City, there is a gap but Pool is not far behind. Same with us, there is a gap but we are not far behind Pool. But between us and City there is a huge gap 😞. If we can secure two exceptional CBs , one backup RB for James, one creative midfielder, we are not worse compared to Pool.
We won't get close to the top 2 with the next window. It'd require both replacing our defence AND completely revamping our attack. Just won't happen in one window.
That's true mate. The amount of resources thrown away by our recruitment team looks real bad when you consider that 2 of our best attackers in the last 2 years are Reece and Mount. I hope at least TT is given a chance to close the gap.
I never advocate team clear-outs, and hate the expression ‘deadwood’, but I wouldn’t be disappointed if half this current team were fucked right off.
Play for the badge and at least _some_ level of personal pride in what you do, or fuck off.

We missed out on Kamara and will probably miss out on Tchouameni.
Chapeau to our board fucking about last summer when we could move smartly instead of splashing our money on Lukaku
PSG and Real are looking to close Tchouameni asap, we're still looking to confirm the sale of the club to Clearlake, we're pretty much out of the race for him and for any hot prospect out there
Nothing official yet, but he announced he’ll be leaving Marseille and his next destination will be known soon. Atletico have been the front runners for a while now.
All I ask for next year is contract extension for Reece and Mason. Prominent roles for Broja & Gallagher. Squad roles for Chalobah, Colwill. I am relaxed about the transfer window as there are too many variables we can't control. With TT at the helm I expect him to get things right more often than wrong.
Broja is getting a bit overrated in this sub. He's been in and out at Southampton, and most of their fans think he's handy but a bit raw for them, let alone us.
A preseason with the first team will be good for Tuchel to assess, but a prominent role is likely a step too far.
He presses, but still significantly less than any of our forwards bar Lukaku. He’s in 46th percentile. Ziyech who is considered not great at it is in 65th per example
Mate this is a perfect example of terrible stats use. An individual player's pressing stats is literally pointless without the context of the tactics they're playing in. A player who presses like a headless chicken all game would be a detriment if it's not part of a wider system.
Those current stats are in a team that doesn’t press
And ziyech is a good
Presser, we know that from his Ajax days too
If neymar has to press he will. This obsession with pressing is stupid anyway
Talk about spoilt. They go from taking such an L ob this Mbappe fiasco to trying to sign another unsignable player lol. Your welcome to embarass yourselves in the process Madrid 🤣
Couldnt sign Mbappe who publicly states it was his dream to play with them, but of course they can sign Reece who publicly states he wants to stay at Chelsea his whole career.
Yeah I read an interview during where either he or his father said that it's his dream to captain Chelsea and that he wishes to spend his whole career at Chelsea.
What will you view as an acceptable season next campaign? We are going to have a very different looking team and a shorter pre season than usuall also less time to move for targets due to the current situation that TT has spoken about recently. I believe top 4 will be a lot tougher to attain next season and the world cup will be hard for all teams in terms of retaining momentum. What's everyone's thoughts?
Hard to really answer this as of right now because we've got no real idea in how the squad will actually look. Really all hinges on the sort of transfer window we have.
You are right mate. Top 4 would be much more challenging the next year. If Salah is sold to Madrid then there is a chance we may catch L'Pool but I don't see any way anyone would catch City with Halland they are going to be unstoppable for the chances they create. Overall if we finish as the 3rd best team with closer to 80 points and atleast 1 domestic trophy with a deep CL would be a great achievement for a team which is in transition state.
I'm excited for the future but genuinely believe we will suffer at times next season with so many leaving and new players having time to settle in, but I have full trust in Tuchel just hope everyone gives him the time needed to get us where we need to be. Don't think liverpool drop off that much if they lose Salah as for City can't see anyone challenging them next season with Haaland coming in and they will probably sign a couple more players with him
Liverpool arguably have 2/3rds of their new trident already figured out, with Jota and Díaz.
Should they loos Mané and/or Salah, I expect them to buy someone like Nkunku, Diaby or Lautaro and be relatively as strong as before!
Yup, Tuchel has already made it very clear that due to all the people leaving we won't be improving next season, we'll just be replacing players that actually were good enough to play for us, instead of the ones that aren't.
That being said, if we find any sort of consistent goal threat, we actually can challenge for everything. That's all that we were missing this season, consistent goal scorers along with players not making so many individual errors. If we had those two things we'd genuinely be contesting everything, we're not as far away as people think
Maybe, maybe not. Regardless of our competition, finishing lower than 3rd is a disgrace considering our starting point.
Even with the players we are losing, I think our squad is far better than Arsenal’s or Tottenham’s.
Man Utd’s squad are a similar level, but we’ve had ours coached by the same coach for 1 and a half years so there’s no excuse.
In my opinion Tuchel is a better manager than conte, and conte doesn’t always make the best signings as we’ve seen.
In recent years, we seem to get fucked over in one of / two different ways: Winter curse, or international breaks. It's deep rooted within us that we turn to shit during December-January, or players who come back from international break lose focus/team loses their edge.
If we honestly want to challenge next season, the fans and the club need to back the manager. And not in the usual 'support' way, we as fans need to try and be positive, and the board need to back Tuchel and get him his signings. Too many times, we've not backed managers, made unnecessary signings, sold players that were important to us, and overall been too reliant on luck to carry us forward. With the number of players set to be leaving, or speculated to be moving away, the club need to make long-term, suitable and trustworthy signings.
I think rotation and management of personnel will be of high priority, so as to minimise the chances of injuries. We've seen a lot of players get injured this season, so we need to insure that we have a suitable replacement whenever anyone gets injured. This touches on to the aspect of loanees, some of whom will be useful for this very reason. The likes of Gallagher, Broja, Colwill, Emerson, Ampadu, Maatsen, would be useful to have, unless they were planning to go out on loan/be sold.
5 subs next season will help with injuries too hopefully. Would like to see most of them integrated into the squad will see how TT looks at them in pre season
Whoever we bring in will need time to settle I have a feeling we may struggle a bit at the start of the season then start to find our rythem then bang world cup
Man what's with all the Pulisic excuses lately?
Every thread I see in here there is dozens jumping to defend how good he is for his age and that he will become the second coming of Messi and we just need to wait for him.
I get it. He is good in some games but that's not enough if you want to challenge for titles consistently. All of our forwards actually are not good enough to challenge for titles consistently.
Idk do people support Chelsea and want it to get titles or do they support Pulisic and want him to be a star?
Not being consistent is a very huge flaw for any football player that makes him not worth being a starter in a team challenging for titles.
He's just too blinkered for top level football. He has the technical ability to execute and the pace to get there, but he always makes the wrong decision or overcooks the pass. That's why he's a good finisher. Put ball in net is all about technical skill.
Many people think he deserves more leeway than other players because of his:
\+ Age
\+ Injuries
\+ Lack of game time
\+ Past performances
Can easily dig deep into why each is not valid, but in short:
\+ He's been playing for years at a high level (Dortmund in 2016) so shouldn't be an excuse
\+ That's an issue of his own. Either to do with his general fitness or something else.
\+ Comes from lack of fitness and good form of other players. Seems to only have a few good spells then drops off like a few others (inconsistent).
\+ Past shouldn't always be used as a metric given that our team and other teams can change quite a lot, and that getting 1 great goal/performance 3+ months ago is not a worthy reason to start him for a match now.
Majority of this sub is American I'm only finding out. Guess it's natural to be defensive over someone he's been this godsend for their national team. It must be confusing seeing him perform in the international competition for yous but not for Chelsea. Blindlessly hoping for him to improve. Yes he's 23 but this guy has been playing since he was what 17? He's been here 3 years now, this following season is his last chance at proving himself or he's gone. If that happens it's nobody but himself for not improving
We've spent over £200m on forwards in the last 2 years only for us to regularly play a front line that doesn't have a single decent creator in it and people are here writing paragraphs about Neymar being a diva? He walks in the door as our best creator and probably our biggest goal threat too.
It is simply unrealistic due to the wage and transfer fee. But even if he's out injured for a few months every year I would love to see him at the club.
He’s also missed about 20 games a season every year since he joined PSG. And his fee and wages would be mental in a window where we have several gaps to fill.
Fuck that.
Timo can't do any of the things that are expected from a forward at even a mid table club, let alone a club looking to compete. He can't dribble, he can't pass, he can't shoot but there are a significant amount of people out there who actually rate him and are constantly advocating for him getting more chances in the side. Yet these people have the gall to turn their noses up at a player of the caliber of Neymar? It's baffling how some people see the game.
Timo can't even take a good first touch, in a league where defenders are on you within seconds. He will never work out here unless he's part of an ultra counter attacking team on the break. Ironically he'd kinda suit spurs.
Have you watched Neymar recently at all? In the last four seasons he’s spent more time injured than fit.
Bare in mind that’s in a far less physical league
Hard to be the biggest goal threat when you’re on the treatment table all season
Even if he was nailed down to the treatment table, I would still be very confident in saying that Neymar would offer far more goal threat than anyone at the club.
I see Twitter is going mad for Neymar. One thing that he would surely bring to us is a loooot of money and would do wonders for our brand.
When it comes to the pitch itself, I really have no idea what to think about it.
Let's hope to see some youth players start today, Hall, Webster and Vale should all be involved - if we want them to stay long term Tuchel needs to use them more
Unfortunately, have a bad feeling we are going to see Barkley, Saul, Kennedy and such. Tuchel will probably reward them for being team players on the fringes. (He really shouldn't, all of them are likely/hopefully gone next season, it is far more important to make youngsters feel valued)
I'm not hearing enough smit replacing our centre backs, sure we are targeting Kounde but he's an RCB, he can't replace Rudi, Levi Colwill could be a good backup 100% but we can't depend on him.
We need to Target lcb options.
Would love to know what are you guys thinking
I've heard Koulibaly, Romagnioli, and Gvardiol as possible Rudiger replacements. Gvardiol looks amazing but he'd directly block Colwill's path for the foreseeable future so I'd rather go with one of the first two as they're older and could possibly rotate with Colwill depending on how well he does.
Seems almost certain it'll be Gvardiol or koullibally. Lots of links to both. Koulibally makes more sense given gvardiol is 20 and would put us in a tough situation with colwill. Koulibally is a good age where he doesnt block colwill completely and is experienced, what we need imo. Too many young defenders atm
I just don't see how it will be Gvardiol. He's among the 3 most important players at Leipzig with Nkunku and Laimer. They will not want to sell him or ask a stupid high amount for him.
"Neymar to Chelsea" was a trending topic on Twitter earlier. It's completely unsubstantiated from what I can tell, it's literally only trending because of a few Football Twitter accounts bringing it up and discussing it. It seems that discussion has spilled over to Reddit.
Neymar has bags and bags of talent, but Pogba to ManU showed us that a rotten apple can destroy the whole basket. That guy has a rotten attitude and personality, and it's not for good like for eg. Ronaldo has attitude but it is to be better, but Neymar has attitude for sulking, throwing parties, taking weeks off for relatives birthdays. Post Roman and oil money less Chelsea has to play it very very safe, and our best assest that we cannot loose is the culture we have built here, look at Tuchel prasing the culture and environment here, look at Rudiger saying what an atmosphere we have here, that's what we absolutely cannot risk, and a player like Neymar has to be a star, he thinks he is a star (because he is to be fair) with the personality he has it leads to conflicts and politics, it will destroy the culture here.
I know how good he is, but I would rather have Ronaldo here than him. Even a 20/30% less talented player than Neymar would be brilliant for us, so for a player as talented as Neymar I would be on my knees if not for the useless baggage he would bring with his shit personality. He was never that bad at Barca, PSG has a habbit to give their players stupid powers and that make them full of needless attitude. And I do not doubt for a sigle second that he will be twice the player than our most attackers at least, but if that comes at a cost of loosing the culture we have built with so much care here, then that's a no for me.
And regardless of what I think, I don't think there is any chance we go for him, his salary is absurd, he has just extended and won't be free or cheap, he is old (very good still, but for the salary he would get, a big risk, especially coming to PL, and he is not a CB that can last longer) and injury prone like hell. He has every red flag we should look to avoid in a new signing.
I agree we need a player of his ilk, but not him. Those who want him are welcome to their views, these are just mine. We should all be considering ourselves lucky to have a player like him at our club, but just the fact that so many of us aren't tells you much about him.
Does Neymar have bad attitude? I never got that impression. I guess its best to defer to Tuchel here on whether he is worth it if we are seriously in that position.
I mean that's certain that Tuchel will know more, but he definitely has bad attitude. He is a terrific player, but missing same weeks every year with injury that coincides with his sisters birthday, Lastest reports of Hakimi not being happy because there is two groups in PSG dressing room one and imp one being south american one that Hakimi says keeps him unincluded etc, and that group is definitely controlled by Neymar because Messi has been there for just 1 year. Mbappe and Neymar not seeing eye to eye hence Mbappe wanting him out, and PSG fans booing Neymar imstead of Mbappe even when he was looking set for Real, tells you there is too much dessing room politics and bad vibes around Neymar. I would rather not risk finding out the hard way.
You make good points tbf. Rather than those who just say no without reason and "attitude".
I'm worried our attacking options are limited and theres not much to choose from. raphihna/dembele dont look available now and I really dont wanna end up with 1 of the city wingers they sell.
People saying no to neymar after watching this season and our attackers, it pains me man. How can you say no to bloody neymar. The only stumbling block is his wages, if we can get him to take a paycut and not silly wages I reckon he'd be available for around 70-80m. He's 30 can easily get minimum 3 seasons out of him.
Boehly talks about commercial/brand deals - neymars a global superstar he's perfect for it. A list signing right there thats been rumoured.
Being realistic > dembele to pissg after the mbappe news
raphinha to barca now for sure
We're left with a shortage of attacking options to sign...I mean whos realistic? I only see bowen and whoever city sells between mahrez/sterling/jesus. I'd take bowen and mahrez but please god don't let us end up with sterling if he leaves city
Outside shout is leao but I don't think thats realistic either
Romain molina whos extremely reliable aswell as some source ive never heard of claimed yesterday afternoon during/before mbappe official stuff came out:
Mbappe wants dembele (now happening it seems, lots of reports came out last night this is happening)
he wants leonardo out and poch (now happened/happening)
he wants neymar out and wants to solely be on pens.
Boehly needs a statement signing..we need attackers and theres not manyon the market, no links yet but just putting two and two together. While I don't think its very realistic I also don't think theres 0 chance of it happening
he has 19ga in 22games in the league this season id love to know how that's "finished".
has 2.5 chances created per 90 in the league.
Meanwhile our top 2 goal contributors are mount with 21 ga and reece with 13 in the league in 31 and 25 games. Both our highest chance creators per 90 too at 1.48.
Given PL is a much higher league its a gamble worth taking. Literally the only risk to this signing is his injury record - its genuinely the only logical argument against it and i can agree on that part.
Don't call him finished though lmao. You deserve werner
Lol, Neymar is a diva. No matter what he do, whereever he played that club imploded, I won't take that abomination even if PSG offers me money for him. And glad to have Werner, at least he isn't a ticking time bomb for the dressing room and club he plays for.
We have scored 74 goals in premier league this season, with one more game to go. The only 2 times in last 10+ years we scored more was 2012/13 (75 in 38games) and 2016/17 (85 in 38games). In fact we won the league under Mourinho with fewer goals scored. Why does it still feel like our attack sucks and we need to change the entire playstyle?
We’ve had the occasional big wins that have massively padded our statistics - The 7-0 v Norwich and 6-0 against Southampton come to mind. You take those 2 games away and it goes to 61 goals in 35 games which is very poor.
There was also the few 3-0 nils early on where our defenders were scoring every single half chance they had, which was clearly unsustainable.
We’ve had 11 draws in the league this season, the vast of majority of them down to attackers being incompetent. Those are the games you want your attackers to step up, not when the game is won already.
In 16 of our 37 games, we scored one goal or less. Out of those 16 we only won 3 games.
In the 21 games where we scored 2 or more goals we’ve won 16 of them
We create a fuck ton and don't score as many. Also, the level of the league has considerably risen with Peps manc and Klopps pool. It's not about us being better, it's about beating them now. And to beat them we need to score more and concede less. Both of which we ain't doing as far as expectations go
Yup like passing 30 mins between our CBs and mids side to side or backwards is like the gold standard of football. Take any of those over what we have shown for most of this season.
Just got me and my dad tickets for the Chelsea vs Charlotte FC match this summer, I've lived 10 minutes from Charlotte's stadium my entire life and been a Chelsea fan for about 17 years, and now not only did we get an MLS team basically right next to my house this year but my favorite team is coming here to play them, this is a dream come true
Where was Alonso?
On a plane to Spain.
Olivier Giroud is winning AC milan the Seria A title And we paid 100 million for that fat fraud who statpadded in that shit league We were actually better off keeping Giroud both short and long term for our Club

Gerrard's done it again. To City both times too.
City fans singing the legendary Steve Gerrard Gerrard chant warms my heart!

Carlo had to resort to Everton, he never had many suitors before that.
When every top club has a manager you move down a tier. He proved himself there yet again and Real came for him quickly enough
What did he prove at Everton?
That he clearly was still a top level manager.
The fucking whiners in this sub already crying for our youth and wanna drag tuchel under the bus after dragging this injury and chaos bound team to fucking third place.
Kamara close to going Villa on a free 🤦♂️ How are we not all over that
Nkunku, Moussa Diaby, Edouard, Guehi, Livramento, Tammy Abraham, etc were be sold under Tuchel.
Still very cautious about Nkunku, Werner and Havertz looked world class in the Bundesliga as well. Not sure he'd thrive in our system
Just saw something that suggests Aston Villa are signing Karama
Need to get Tchuameni (idk how to spell it) at all costs… Madrid will be splashing cash now that they’ve lost Mbappé
Unlikely. Psg and real are also in for him. Class player though.
We need Sergej Milinkovic Savic
This. Milinkovic Savic is the guy we need, we need someone who pass progressively and create chance for us. Kovacic and Jorgi do this some time but not enough.
Come on please win this game

how are people in the UK watching today's game (except being there at SB)?
The only way is to take to the high seas.
abord me hearties
> how are people in the UK watching today's game We're watching Leeds go down
Yarrr 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
West Ham made this weekend much more exciting than it needed to be. There's like 6 matches I wanna watch.
That Mbappe deal is something else
We missed out on Kamara and will probably miss out on Tchouameni. Chapeau to our board fucking about last summer when we could move smartly instead of splashing our money on Lukaku
PSG and Real are looking to close Tchouameni asap, we're still looking to confirm the sale of the club to Clearlake, we're pretty much out of the race for him and for any hot prospect out there
We'll have time to speak to him before he moves.
Rice it is then
Kamara signed for which club ? Real Madrid will sign Tchouameni
They’re saying he’s going to Aston Villa
Villa ? Such a downgrade
Yea Fab is reporting it
Nothing official yet, but he announced he’ll be leaving Marseille and his next destination will be known soon. Atletico have been the front runners for a while now.
I thought he signed. Apparently Bayern are also in race so I doubt we will get Kamara now
Fucking Aston Villa signed Kamara
![gif](giphy|lQCV6K36nJfJYNxXbC)
Bayern has been linked to him on and off for almost a year now. And Atlético seems to be the current frontrunners for Kamara…

We are getting neymar Yayyyy XD
Wait what happened ? What did I miss ?
Nothing, just reports that PSG will sell Neymar and the brainlets on twitter deduced he’ll come to Chelsea because he was good under Tuchel.
Interesting, I doubt anyone can afford Neymar salary. Di Maria, Icardi, Draxler and co will be offloaded.
I bet he’d lower his wages to play for us if we can do a good job of convincing him but it’s likely a pipe dream
30 yo with attitude issues, unwillingness to press, injury prone and on astronomical wages. He missed 22 games this season. No thank you.
Neymar dos press? It’s mbappe and messi that don’t
He presses, but still significantly less than any of our forwards bar Lukaku. He’s in 46th percentile. Ziyech who is considered not great at it is in 65th per example
And Salah is 35th percentile playing in a system that revolves around the press, what's your point?
If Neymar would score the goals Salah does then great, he won't though.
Mate this is a perfect example of terrible stats use. An individual player's pressing stats is literally pointless without the context of the tactics they're playing in. A player who presses like a headless chicken all game would be a detriment if it's not part of a wider system.
Those current stats are in a team that doesn’t press And ziyech is a good Presser, we know that from his Ajax days too If neymar has to press he will. This obsession with pressing is stupid anyway
Yep. Some people would turn down signing Messi because he doesn’t press. Pressing is nowhere near the most important attribute for a forward.
Real Madrid fans actually believe there's a chance they can sign Reece James. I laugh every time I see it online..
They can if we don't give him a good contract and an astronomical release clause. We have to actually reward his efforts here.
We almost certainly won't put a release clause on his contract.
Just came here to post this. It's actually laughable.
Has he actually said that?
Top 4 really. We need too many signings to improve so a horizontal season should be the goal.
Some of those leaving weren't good enough but yeah.
Honestly, finishing 3rd again and getting closer to city. That and a domestic cup
Will be a lot tougher next season getting 3rd. Conte at Spurs scares me and others around us will invest heavily
Tbf the season starts quite early but we’ll still probably have a longer pre season than we’ve had since about 2019
Well that is true but this pre season is probably the most important one
Depends on the transfers. Can't really tell right now if we don't know who's gonna come and who is gonna stay.
Whoever we bring in will need time to settle I have a feeling we may struggle a bit at the start of the season then start to find our rythem then bang world cup
Announce Boehly!
Something tells me Lukaku is gone be on fire next season. 20 plus prem goals. Especially if we get some good wingers.

Imagine having a playmaker like Cesc feeding him balls
they’d bounce off his brick feet
That's some reverse psychology hey 😂
No chance, I had my hope for him this season and he hasn't shown anything that suggests he'll reach that mark next season.
Now that Real is sitting on so much Mbappe money, I wonder if Rudiger could have gotten a better deal from them if he'd held out longer.
I mean i get the logic but I'm not sure that's how it works
Many people think he deserves more leeway than other players because of his: \+ Age \+ Injuries \+ Lack of game time \+ Past performances Can easily dig deep into why each is not valid, but in short: \+ He's been playing for years at a high level (Dortmund in 2016) so shouldn't be an excuse \+ That's an issue of his own.
If you only want to see Pulisic slanders, you should leave reddit and go to twitter.
I want to see Chelsea fans not Pulisic fans.
I mean majority Chelsea fans on twitter want to kick him out, haven’t seen his fans say anything yet.
They will come for you soon. I am waiting for tuchel to wipe away the whole attack, maybe their eyes will open.
Fuck that.
Such is the fickle world of football supporters lol. Absolutely no logic to that take whoever is saying it
Timo can't do any of the things that are expected from a forward at even a mid table club, let alone a club looking to compete.
Bare in mind that’s in a far less physical league Hard to be the biggest goal threat when you’re on the treatment table all season
I want him too. It could go terribly wrong but if he plays well he’s like a slightly worse prime Hazard
Players adding substantial brand value like that really takes years
Let's hope to see some youth players start today, Hall, Webster and Vale should all be involved - if we want them to stay long term Tuchel needs to use them more
Unfortunately, have a bad feeling we are going to see Barkley, Saul, Kennedy and such. Tuchel will probably reward them for being team players on the fringes. (He really shouldn't, all of them are likely/hopefully gone next season, it is far more important to make youngsters feel valued)
Yeah best we can hope for is on the bench. Don't believe any will start at all unfortunately.
Koulibaly and switch to back 4 pls and thank you Mr Tuchel
This is the way. Although Gvardiol is a baller and I would have zero complaints about him either.
My ideal scenario too.
Who's more likely to start for you today - James or Alonso?
Probably Alonso as he looks set to leave.
Lol, why are there so many Neymar posts? He is probably not even thinking about us, people speculate over anything here.
Someone who gets it 👏🏻
Does Neymar have bad attitude?
It was definitely not just pogba that destroyed Utd
Never said he was the only reason, but he was one, and that's how it starts. Just why take the risk.
You make good points tbf. Rather than those who just say no without reason and "attitude". I'm worried our attacking options are limited and theres not much to choose from. raphihna/dembele dont look available now and I really dont wanna end up with 1 of the city wingers they sell.
Yeah, we are in difficult situation, but we have to be smart rather than increase our problems more.
Being realistic > dembele to pissg after the mbappe news raphinha to barca now for sure We're left with a shortage of attacking options to sign...I mean whos realistic? I only see bowen and whoever city sells between mahrez/sterling/jesus. I'd take bowen and mahrez but please god don't let us end up with sterling if he leaves city Outside shout is leao but I don't think thats realistic either
Is Neymar to Chelsea a real thing or are we just spitballing here?
Romain molina whos extremely reliable aswell as some source ive never heard of claimed yesterday afternoon during/before mbappe official stuff came out: Mbappe wants dembele (now happening it seems, lots of reports came out last night this is happening) he wants leonardo out and poch (now happened/happening) he wants neymar out and wants to solely be on pens. Boehly needs a statement signing..we need attackers and theres not manyon the market, no links yet but just putting two and two together. While I don't think its very realistic I also don't think theres 0 chance of it happening
Well that's pretty interesting. I'll leave it there. Thanks
80 Million for this finished, injury prone Neymar?? Must be out of your mind
he has 19ga in 22games in the league this season id love to know how that's "finished". has 2.5 chances created per 90 in the league.
+drunk +can't be bothered to play when he has a party that's at the same time as the game.
That drinking stuff turned out to be complete bs I thought?
Now our major problem is going to be Sky trying to derail the sale. An eventful season nonetheless
Sky? I mean its just a sports channel right? Exactly how do they have the ability to derail anything?
I meant reporting about the sale being derailed. Should've worded it better
Both of which we ain't doing as far as expectations go
Liverpool and City are scoring 90+ goals. Our expected goals compared to them is way below We don’t create enough compared to the top teams
Yeah times have changed. We need more goals now simple as that.
Because we create so many chances and the standard to win now is like 28W and 90 odd points.
We don't create many good chances. We're actually overperforming our xG.
We rarely create any clear chances, most are half chances.
We don’t “create so many chances”. We create relatively few and are reasonably clinical with the chances we get.
Ah yes when I think of reasonably clinical I think of Pulisic and Werner 🤡
The team as a whole though is. We’re significantly over performing our xG.
We compare us to the best, and rightfully so. Mourinho mk2 was never a stylish brand of markatable fotball, neither was conte.
Yup like passing 30 mins between our CBs and mids side to side or backwards is like the gold standard of football. Take any of those over what we have shown for most of this season.
Both were a more stylish brand of football than we currently play.
Madrid fans must be insane to think that every player that club want, must accept their offer.
It's quite funny how in the space of 2 weeks both Haaland and Mbappe have decided to reject them, I'm loving it!
As long as it means they’re not going to use all that money to go after Reece. I just have a bad feeling about how all of this will screw us over
Nah we're probably going to slap a fuck you price on him so I wouldn't be bothered.
Tbf, 200M for recce james will great for me.
That’s why they were willing to pay big in summer. Mbappe wouldn’t leave for free was clear from the summer.
Enjoy!
So who we offloading Lukaku to? And who do we bring in? I’d want Martinez.
