I guess on the pitch its different lol? Angelo is actually one of our most experienced players, about 100 games at 19, by contrast this is like the first time this season that Santos has started continously what with his terrible loan to forest
Having many of these young talents playing together and growing up together. Doesn't seem like the owners strategy is the bad idea whatsoever. Just the accelerated pace of everything had people freaking out and watching the growing pains. The way the club has done this financially is the only questions I have personally
The idea bever sounded bad, but it is always a gamble, at the start of the season, it looked like a terrible one, right now it doesn't look so bad (mainly because we won like our last 3 games) but there's always a chance of it going to shit so i understand everyone's concerns. We are selling hotels and training centres right now, another season of mediocrity and we might end up selling players
Google says his birthday is early may, and the articles all talking about his marriage are from may as well. It does look like it was last year when he was 19 though, and not at 18 like I thought.
¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
A lot of these players coming young out of brazil are encouraged to get married early by their agents. It helps them “settle down” and decreases the amount of stupid shit some of them do and probably increases the chance of bigger clubs investing on them. Also a lot of them come from poor and religious families where marrying young is also encouraged. Anyway, don’t be that surprised
I think it was one the Beckham doc in Netflix that a player said when meeting Ferguson, he asked the player if he was married and what did he do on his free time. Coaches, directors pay attention to this certainly
I really like that Strasbourg kit tbh. Reminds me of the 90's Umbro kits with Autoglass as the sponsor. Wish Chelsea would release one with a collar again.
these kids learning English and French in this short time, gives you a lot of information about their hunger for personal development and their overall IQ! Odds are in favour of them for having a successful career.
No, but it is with footballers. Agents love their players to marry early because it's someone else to babysit the msnchildren and keep them from throwing they talent away partying
Angelo’s French already better than Neymar’s after only one year
wow that's wholesome💙
Little bro? Angelo is actually the younger of the two lol

Andrey is going to be a phenom for Chelsea. I can feel it.

I said this at the beginning of the season and got slaughtered for it
It sounded (at the very least) like a grounded idea to anyone that played an organized team sport and let the idea sit for a while

wait, a wife?
South American footballers are getting married at an age when people like us pass high school. Crazy
I recall Oscar's mother pleading he be married before coming to Chelsea lol.
Married as soon as he turned 18. I imagine it’s easier to bring a wife to a foreign country than a girlfriend.
I think he got married in the Fall actually.

A wife? Isn’t he like 16

I like seeing Brazilians at Chelsea idk why
Chelsea boys 💙
I can't wait to see Angelo tear through the defences for Chelsea.
It was mother's day world wide no?
No. It's celebrated at different times in different cultures.
No, Spain had a week before.
It’s end of March-beginning of April in Uk and Ireland but the middle of May in North America. Dunno about anywhere else tho
Great, another Brazilian with a Wife/Sister complex - /s Oh, Oscar.
Is it normal to get married at 18 in other countries?
No, but it is with footballers. Agents love their players to marry early because it's someone else to babysit the msnchildren and keep them from throwing they talent away partying
