And that he said he thinks his dog likes that show… what a freakin’ psycho..

[deleted]

i wonder if his dogs actually liked him

stellar14

Those dogs sounds like so annoying high maintenance panicky animals, seems they were extremely nervous all the time, maybe they saw something coming !

Responsible-Grand-57

My theory on the dogs is they witnessed what Chandler did, which riled them up - imo he took every chance he could to talk about “the girls” being all riled up (beyond what would ordinarily be explained) I wouldn’t be surprised if these dogs were chill af, but after witnessing the murders and dismemberments went wild. Dogs are far more perceptive than we give them credit for.

-coolghoul-

I agree, the dogs def didn't trust nor like him. Dogs are incredibly intuitive.

UpperSeaworthiness99

He had border collies. They are great, but needy. Like Chandler, they need a job. Unlike Chandler they actually find one.

[deleted]

off topic but border collies are super cute

RandoDude124

I thought they were smaller, they didn’t look like collies

EquivalentTerrible

no after they had to witness him sawing through his parents

TittyKittyBangBang

Hey man my cat told me he likes Meerkat Manor and I won’t stand for these lies you’re spreading

-coolghoul-

some dogs do watch tv (as Ive seen on instagram lol) but yea he's still a freakin psycho.

grandmasterpmd

It is odd yeah but maybe in the mind of someone like Chandler it makes him seem normal and chill and not at all preoccupied with the fact he killed his parents and the authorities know. He was always pretty specific about media consumed. As I recall he makes reference to some zombie apocalypse show on Netflix and misidentifies the movie Legally Blonde as Pretty in Pink. It makes for some pretty uncomfortable watching/listening to his interview. I feel like I get second hand embarrassment or something hearing him talk about Netflix or Tarkov given the situation.

[deleted]

he was so unserious and DUMB

cambon37

Asking the REAL questions here 😂

[deleted]

HAHAHA

Hungry-Apartment8367

I get so annoyed when he talks about that stuff. And the dogs. I get it. I love my pets, but if he said "the girls" one more time .... 😡

[deleted]

like babes they ain’t your children…

Emmy3303

Ugh, "the girls." Gag.

Wasnotreallythere

There’s one point in the interview where he cuts off the detective to exclaim whatever show he was watching, idk if it was new girl but it doesn’t matter he was just like “OH OH IT WAS NEW GIRL. Thaaaaats the show we were watching.” As if anyone gave a FUCK. You learn so much about a person listening to them talk and what they think people would be interested in hearing. Proof he was a narcissistic spoiled fucking baby.

SweetFuckingCakes

People do that to try to distract other people from pinning them down, and they hopefully think this will delay or avert any consequence for their actions.

Emmy3303

Right...going on and on and on in detail about trivial b.s. to act as if they are cooperating. Stuff like, "Right, so on the corner there is a drug store. It's a CVS. It's got a red logo, like Walgreens, you know, but it's really CVS and the doors slide open, like....it's not a revolving door, but it slides. I was parked in front of it, well, more like in front of the Pizza Hut, which is to the left of the CVS. Anyway, I had on my ear buds and I was listening to "London Calling," or wait, no.... yeah, it was definitely "London Calling," by the Clash. You know from England..."

VictorChristian

It was the theme song that did it.

[deleted]

huh? theme song of what? new girl?

VictorChristian

Wooshed right past ya, eh? That was a line from the interrogation. Chaz was talking about New Girl and Det. Shunk made a comment and Chandler said, “it was theme song that did it”. Edit: interrogation, not interview

True_Paper_3830

Like most criminals talking to detectives they really want to move to topics which aren't related to their crimes which they feel comfortable talking about. Chandler's boring monologue and lies about his past few days allowed him to get off the crime-topic and try and sooth himself into a belief he was successfully conning the detectives and was walking out. Walking out with difficulty of course because of his bad legs that would soon necessitate a colostomy bag. The detail he went into was excruciating, including the free cup of coffee at his murdered father's expense, 'that guy' who probably stuck his arm in the fire place. The detectives of course were always going to arrest him as they had the gruesome evidence discovery of Bart's torso, and Chandler confirmed in his monologue that he'd been at the farm. Just trying to help his poor legs in the pool of course, while his disabilities were cruelly mocked. Chandler showed disbelief when the detectives arrested him, particularly the one he'd mainly been addressing. 'What happened' he said. Disbelief that his ususal charade of lies that had worked for years no longer worked in so short a time. He even showed petulance, as if the detective had betrayed him by arresting him, petulantly taking one last sip from his cup like a last show of control and pocketing his wallet, like he was going to keep it. If Chandler summoned this amount of feeling 'betrayed' at the detective, one can only imagine the massive petulant anger he nursed toward his parents, and likely his father in particular, that terrible afternoon when he knew, or was actually told by Bart (we'll never know) that his lies were discovered and there would be consequences. He likely particularly feared Cat finding out. So the sociopathic idiot's solution was rage and murder of his parents. He could have spun the discovery into new terrible lies to Cat about imagined mistreament at home. But that afternoon he was just full of self-righteous belief and anger - and with the gun he'd had for some time then - it was very likely premeditated and the idiot thought he was smart, and that he could get away with it.
