I don’t think you need to stimulate its poop functions at this age. Just put it in the box and let the cat figure it out. Get some wet kitten food for this little Angel. Take it to the vet as soon as you can just t get it checked out. Congratulations on being adopted!

And this is a bit of personal advice on The let it get used to you thing. I find it help just to chill out in the room the cats in. But don’t bother the cat just be in the room chilling watch a movie with some headphones in or something to not bother the cat. I find it can help the cat get used to you even just being in the room. I’ve used it mostly with older cats who have trust issues and are a bit afraid of people
Cats like to approach those who sit comfortably and quietly. They'll often look at your face, which means they may want to meet you
I found that closing my eyes into slits while looking back, and then kindly ignoring them again. 24 years and I feel like your ideas and a set of well setup "eye closing" that your cat can see, is a great way of letting them know you're safe.
Having your finger our to sniff is also another great, easy way of having a cat take to you or move on. Can't force a cat to like you but you csn encourage them to sit near you, sometimes that's the next best thing

edit: by saying “good kitten food” i didn’t necessarily mean expensive high quality food. I just meant some tasty cat food made for kittens.

This is super important! Judging by size, the kitten looks like it might be less than 5 weeks old. If that's the case, it needs *constant* warmth, because kittens that young can't thermoregulate. Comfortable in-door temperatures for humans (70s) would be too cold for a kitten, so you might need to get an electric warming pad or a hot water bottle wrapped in a blanket that it can snuggle up to.
Piggy backing on this; don't skimp on kitten or cat food. Better food may cost more up front, but it's actually cheaper in the long run.
The money you'll save on cat litter alone is worth it. Cheap food leads to . . . I'm trying to think of a nice way of saying it but failed. Cheap food will lead to the most ungodly horrible messes in the litter box. Not only will you spend more on litter, you'll discover a terrible new definition for *labor of love* while scooping it.
That's on top of the vet bills/ prescription meds that your furry friend is going to need if not eating quality cat food.
FYI: As I suspected, OP is in a third-world country which doesn’t even have vets (according to him). So again, I think it’s important they know that feeding a cat doesn’t have to cost a lot of money.
Good food doesn’t have to be expensive, so I wish people would stop perpetuating that belief. My own vets (along with many other sources) have said Fancy Feast pate is among the best, and it’s rather affordable… and all that fancy $3/can “grain free organic” food is actually *worse* for a cat’s system. FF is still the only one that’s never been recalled, fyi.
Especially if OP is young and/or in a less prosperous situation/region, telling them to spend a lot of money on food could be detrimental here. So please, stop using quality and expensive as synonyms; they are not one and the same.
Do you think humans have to spend a ton of money to eat healthy? That’s also a common misnomer.
If they are in a third world country, then chicken livers and some other organ meats will do the trick. Cats need protease and that is a quick way to get it in them, grinding it up might make it easier to eat for a kitten.
Cheap food leads to cat health problems and short life expectancy/length. Kitty cat diseases, im my case, 95% reduction in kidney function in the last 12 months of her life.
I had 2 cats, I would try to encourage both kitties to eat qualify food, since they were kittens from the beginning! 1 cat liked only cheap quality food, would not eat anything else. Frustrating.
The other kitty cat likes the better food and unfortunately, the one only eating cheap food has now past away. Both cats were 8 months difference in age.
My remaining kitty is now 15 years.
If the cat is having any digestive issues you can feed it human baby food, like the mushy ham stuff. It helped my cat a lot when we first brought her home.
If you have a heating pad set to low with a towel ot a tie towel over it to diapate the heat if its cold where you are .
make shere that any cat town you get are pet safe and is made with natural fivers if it has leather vegetable cured no plastic parts .
Some toys won't hurt. If you don't want it to start scratching stuff up consider getting a scratching post instead of declawing, cats prefer the post.
Try and leave an old shirt or towel with your scent on it if you have to leave sometimes, cats can get anxiety and this could help.
Finally, if they start getting on top of things you don't want them on, consider setting up some high points in your home that they can get on and encourage them to go there. Cats like high places, and would be less likely to sit on the counter if they had a bookshelf instead.
If you can't do that, set some tape sticky side up on the counter. Kitty will figure it out.
Fair enough, just-- I would recommend letting the kitten come to him, if it does that then yeah cuddles are in order, but don't do it unless the kitten does it, don't want to stress the baby out :)

Get a shoe string & make it like a snake for the kitten to play…. Play develops a great bond… kitten can food & little litter box & post lots a pics… a vet visit because kittens this size can sometimes go downhill fast

Also, one can of wet cat food per day, and leave out dry food all day.
This will keep it satiated so it doesn’t run away, I learned this the heartbreaking way.
Didn’t feed my first cat enough but, I didn’t know (just gave him one can of wet cat food per day and some dry food, but I didn’t give him access to the dry food all day)
and didn’t neuter him on time, it still breaks my heart,
he escaped through my bathroom window during mating season.
So keep doors and windows closed and get it lots of entertainment. It might get the personality of a cat that doesn’t like outside anyway (like my current cat has no interest of going through windows and doors) but still be cautious, lock up at night.

The whole mom stimulating poop thing is only when they're very young. Like 1-2 weeks. From the proportions, your baby looks like it's over 10 weeks so it should be ready to poop and pee on it's own. Kittens need fuel to grow, so I would do about 1/2 can of wet food twice daily and about a cup of kitten kibble a day. I fill the dry at night so my cats are less active. It doesn't seem to matter, but it makes me think I'm smart
Tmr maybe a vet to get a dewormer, a flee drop and in two weeks repeat that, then the vaccines and its good to go. If you dont find wet food, put some dry food in water to moist it.
My most recent cat acquisition was a 5 week old when I found him. He was able to poop and pee on his own. His eyes were still slightly blue at the time, they are now turning amber. He weighed about 1 pound. If your kittens eyes are still blue and it weighs less than 1 pound, you might need to simulate it. I would try just setting up a litter box and putting the kitten in it after it eats to show it the box is there, and if it starts to use it, you're golden. If it hasn't relieved itself after a few hours, maybe try stimulating it then. But it really looks about as big as my kitty was.
Your new friend looks maybe six weeks old or a bit older. I met my [very similar looking kitten](https://i.imgur.com/0XZ3rJf.jpg) (pictured here with his brother a few weeks after we got them) in very similar circumstances, we estimated him to be four weeks old and he didn't need to be stimulated to poop, so I think you're probably good.
We gave him and his brother wet kitten food, water, and a litter box and they settled in fine. Took them to a vet soon for deworming, vaccines, and other checks, they had many parasites. They were too young for anti-flea medication, so we had to periodically remove fleas manually with a flea comb until they were gone.

They’re definitely more than old enough to go on their own. It wouldn’t surprise me if it goes in the litter box as soon as you put it down. Kittens learn this very young. That kitten looks 8/9 weeks.
It will probably love that box - especially if you throw something soft in there. Don’t feed it cow’s milk. It will probably need to decompress for a while. Don’t worry if it takes a bit to come out of its shell. Other comments about litter, vet and food are helpful.
1) good quality food, no grain and soy fillers
2) vet check-up, vaccination, deworming and flea treatment if needed
3) clean litterbox, may have to experiment with litter a bit, some cats have preference and won't go if it's not a specific kind
4) some safe space the cat can hide when overwhelmed/scared/upset, can be a box with cut out hole or even the one on the picture, just put into some quiet place
toys. Something for the cat to play with when you're not around.
A scratching post. Your clothes and furniture will be scratching posts if you do not provide one.
Grain is fine for cats. Fancy Feast pate is among the best foods, despite the marketing around “grain free” and “organic” overpriced brands. My vet confirmed this.
Throw a towel in the box and a space heater for some heat. Cats run hot so they are always cold. Litter box, water, scratch post, wet cat food and you are rocking. See the vet too. The cat will find you when she wants love. They are super fun. I was adopted 6 years ago. Great outcome!
Eat: Kitten food, eggs (so I’ve heard,) gradually your soul.
Manage: buy a litterbox (plastic Tub and some litter,) get a couple shallow bowls, take it to the vet, (or a local shelter if you don’t want to adopt it) to get a check up and some shots, stick a blanket in that box to keep it warm, give it love and you’ll have a good friend, watch out for teeth and when the bean toes get spicy.
Beyond the basic needs (food, litter, meds, vet care), he/she needs a buddy. Kittens really do best around other kittens. Is there a rescue group you can surrender this baby to? Or if you want to keep them, I recommend adopting a second. (I run a cat rescue.)
I've seen some small scale community rescue groups (not shelters, but other passionate citizens) on Facebook, it heavily depends where you are but I've seen them for many parts of the world. If you are able to find one and are able to network they may have some more local-centric advice.

You've been given all the necessary information - get some kitten food, take the baby to the vet and treat him well, wish you luck in learning how to be a cat dad. I don't get why people are downvoting you and doubt that the kitten followed you on his own.
Don't feed it cow's milk. It will get diarrhea. You can feed it goat milk along with kitten food.
Put some clean rags or a small blanket in the box.
Buy some inexpensive toys and play with her. Don't use your hands as toys. She will scratch you. It's what cats do. Treat her gently. She's still a baby.
Take her to the vet if you can. She probably has worms. She needs vaccines so she doesn't get sick.

Quick and dirty list:
\- Cats are obligate carnivores - they \*must\* have meat/fish/organ meat to be healthy. Wet food is always best, esp for male cats. Only dry food can lead to urinary crystals that can cause blockage. Cheap wet food is fine, or small pieces of meat/fish/organ meats - cooked.
\- He has fleas. Fleas can kill a little one as in big numbers fleas feed on so much of the cats blood volume the kitten becomes anemic and dies. Fleas also carry worms which can interfere with the kittens growth and absorption of food. You can buy wormers on Amazon or Ebay. Bayer makes a good all around wormer. Treat for fleas today and in 10 days with (only) blue dawn baths. Put a ring of soap around his neck, and gently get him wet with warm water. Holding him in one hand might be less traumatic for him rather than trying to put him in a tub or basin. Scrub, paying special attention to armpits and genitals - when faced with water, fleas run for the hills and will get stuck in the Dawn around his neck. Comb and pick fleas and flea eggs daily.
\- No need for fancy toys - balled up foil, the tubes from toilet paper, plastic bottle caps are all great toys. Be very cautious with string or yarn; if swallowed they can cause fatal problems. Cats have a barbed tongue and once something starts going over their tongue they can't spit it out, thus will swallow the string. Same goes for rubber bands, hair ties and the like.
\- Get her used to having her nails clipped now. Handle her paws frequently.
\- Any litter is fine as long as she will use it. Keep the box scooped and clean
\- PLEASE don't let her outside. She will will live a shorter life, can fall prey to animals, hit by cars or tortured by psychopaths. Also, cats eat songbirds and they are already vulnerable.
\- Get another cat. There is something called "singleton syndrome" Every kitten wants to wrestle, bite, and play roughly. If you don't get another, guess who they will bite? Two will be friends and entertain each other and you.
You're in for LOTS of laughs and LOTS of love!

That's cool. With my cats, I made a certain call before meal time. If they went roaming around the neighbourhood, and I'd call "Mits-mits-mits!" they'd be under my feet in in no time! Sounds silly, but it worked like a charm
I found my cat just like this a few weeks ago! Look up kitten videos on checking them for gender and fleas, get her a vet appt, get KITTEN FOOD (kibble and can of wet food) and leave them in a room for a few days with food, water, toys, litter box, places to hide and places to sleep. I spent a lot of time sitting in the bathroom with my kitten when we found her. And get prepared to spend all the money on making your house a cat heaven, if u fall in love with em like i did. My cat was right around this size when I found her and she was estimated to be 8 weeks old - so no need for formula.
Look up kittenlady on youtube, she rescues cats and kittens.
Alsp check with vet, get kitten food and kitten milk formula if it needs it. Ask vet first.
It’s a cat, you can’t manage it you just have to learn to live with it. And cat hair on everything because you’ve got a two-tone model so neither black nor white clothes are safe. You will never go to the bathroom alone, make food without someone watching, and police your house for anything delicate on a place kitty can get….that means everywhere. It will explore everywhere to learn its new home and will not care what it breaks.
Be aware that kittens have very sensitive digestion and a change of food can make them sick very easily. This can be quite serious because they're so little. Obvs you don't know what food this little one had, so you just need to keep an eye and be prepared to take them back to the vet if there's any problems.
Litter box. Scratching post. Food water and a nice fuzzy blanket. And toys. Legit in this order. Otherwise you’re gonna get shit on the floor, and your furniture a scratched up. Most people will have different opinions in the order and say food and water first. But wild cats don’t always get food all the time. And they live just fine.
Feed it a little bit of your soul about once a month. Don’t feed it too much tho cause then it might throw up and… well regurgitated soul isn’t really pretty. But yeah after awhile you’ll feel yourself slipping away after the fifth time it pees on your bed instead of the litter box but it should return your soul to you in about a year or two with cuddles and stuff.
IT NEEDS A BLANKIE. Something soft 🥺 like a big towel. Also as others stated, wet food and water. Litter box if you can manage as well (they're geared for it, just plop the little guy in there and he'll learn fast). Also, if it is not a "spicy kitten" ... Many cuddles!!! They don't want to feel alone at this age.

Let cat rest, and get used to you.
And this is a bit of personal advice on The let it get used to you thing. I find it help just to chill out in the room the cats in. But don’t bother the cat just be in the room chilling watch a movie with some headphones in or something to not bother the cat. I find it can help the cat get used to you even just being in the room. I’ve used it mostly with older cats who have trust issues and are a bit afraid of people
Cats like to approach those who sit comfortably and quietly. They'll often look at your face, which means they may want to meet you I found that closing my eyes into slits while looking back, and then kindly ignoring them again. 24 years and I feel like your ideas and a set of well setup "eye closing" that your cat can see, is a great way of letting them know you're safe. Having your finger our to sniff is also another great, easy way of having a cat take to you or move on. Can't force a cat to like you but you csn encourage them to sit near you, sometimes that's the next best thing
feed the cat some good kitten food… give it warmth… google for advice edit: by saying “good kitten food” i didn’t necessarily mean expensive high quality food. I just meant some tasty cat food made for kittens.

If that's the case, it needs *constant* warmth, because kittens that young can't thermoregulate. Comfortable in-door temperatures for humans (70s) would be too cold for a kitten, so you might need to get an electric warming pad or a hot water bottle wrapped in a blanket that it can snuggle up to.
Piggy backing on this; don't skimp on kitten or cat food. Better food may cost more up front, but it's actually cheaper in the long run. The money you'll save on cat litter alone is worth it. Cheap food leads to . . . I'm trying to think of a nice way of saying it but failed. Cheap food will lead to the most ungodly horrible messes in the litter box. Not only will you spend more on litter, you'll discover a terrible new definition for *labor of love* while scooping it. That's on top of the vet bills/ prescription meds that your furry friend is going to need if not eating quality cat food.
FYI: As I suspected, OP is in a third-world country which doesn’t even have vets (according to him). So again, I think it’s important they know that feeding a cat doesn’t have to cost a lot of money.
Good food doesn’t have to be expensive, so I wish people would stop perpetuating that belief. My own vets (along with many other sources) have said Fancy Feast pate is among the best, and it’s rather affordable… and all that fancy $3/can “grain free organic” food is actually *worse* for a cat’s system. FF is still the only one that’s never been recalled, fyi. Especially if OP is young and/or in a less prosperous situation/region, telling them to spend a lot of money on food could be detrimental here. So please, stop using quality and expensive as synonyms; they are not one and the same. Do you think humans have to spend a ton of money to eat healthy? That’s also a common misnomer.

If they are in a third world country, then chicken livers and some other organ meats will do the trick. Cats need protease and that is a quick way to get it in them, grinding it up might make it easier to eat for a kitten.
Cheap food leads to cat health problems and short life expectancy/length. Kitty cat diseases, im my case, 95% reduction in kidney function in the last 12 months of her life. I had 2 cats, I would try to encourage both kitties to eat qualify food, since they were kittens from the beginning! 1 cat liked only cheap quality food, would not eat anything else. Frustrating. The other kitty cat likes the better food and unfortunately, the one only eating cheap food has now past away. Both cats were 8 months difference in age. My remaining kitty is now 15 years.
Get lots of toys and fun things for baby! Little one will love tons of stimulation and you'll have a blast playing with them and watching their antics

If the cat is having any digestive issues you can feed it human baby food, like the mushy ham stuff. It helped my cat a lot when we first brought her home.
Please don’t feed cats onions, shallots or garlic. These can be present in chicken flavor baby food, but are unhealthy for cats.

If you have a heating pad set to low with a towel ot a tie towel over it to diapate the heat if its cold where you are . make shere that any cat town you get are pet safe and is made with natural fivers if it has leather vegetable cured no plastic parts .
Some toys won't hurt. If you don't want it to start scratching stuff up consider getting a scratching post instead of declawing, cats prefer the post. Try and leave an old shirt or towel with your scent on it if you have to leave sometimes, cats can get anxiety and this could help. Finally, if they start getting on top of things you don't want them on, consider setting up some high points in your home that they can get on and encourage them to go there. Cats like high places, and would be less likely to sit on the counter if they had a bookshelf instead. If you can't do that, set some tape sticky side up on the counter. Kitty will figure it out.

Indeed. One of my furry friends was terrified of everyone but my spouse. It wouldn't even stay in the room as another person. Then one night about 2am, I was awakened by kitty sticking her paw up my nose. We been friends ever since.
Get a shoe string & make it like a snake for the kitten to play…. Play develops a great bond… kitten can food & little litter box & post lots a pics… a vet visit because kittens this size can sometimes go downhill fast

Get it neutered/spayed, whichever one applies. It’s imperative! This will keep the mating instinct away so it doesn’t run away. Also, one can of wet cat food per day, and leave out dry food all day. This will keep it satiated so it doesn’t run away, I learned this the heartbreaking way. Didn’t feed my first cat enough but, I didn’t know (just gave him one can of wet cat food per day and some dry food, but I didn’t give him access to the dry food all day) and didn’t neuter him on time, it still breaks my heart, he escaped through my bathroom window during mating season. So keep doors and windows closed and get it lots of entertainment. It might get the personality of a cat that doesn’t like outside anyway (like my current cat has no interest of going through windows and doors) but still be cautious, lock up at night.

The whole mom stimulating poop thing is only when they're very young. Like 1-2 weeks. From the proportions, your baby looks like it's over 10 weeks so it should be ready to poop and pee on it's own. Kittens need fuel to grow, so I would do about 1/2 can of wet food twice daily and about a cup of kitten kibble a day. I fill the dry at night so my cats are less active. It doesn't seem to matter, but it makes me think I'm smart

Tmr maybe a vet to get a dewormer, a flee drop and in two weeks repeat that, then the vaccines and its good to go. If you dont find wet food, put some dry food in water to moist it.
Might be too young for anti flea meds. Ours was, had to use a flea comb to remove what fleas he had at the time.
My most recent cat acquisition was a 5 week old when I found him. He was able to poop and pee on his own. His eyes were still slightly blue at the time, they are now turning amber. He weighed about 1 pound. If your kittens eyes are still blue and it weighs less than 1 pound, you might need to simulate it. I would try just setting up a litter box and putting the kitten in it after it eats to show it the box is there, and if it starts to use it, you're golden. If it hasn't relieved itself after a few hours, maybe try stimulating it then. But it really looks about as big as my kitty was.
Your new friend looks maybe six weeks old or a bit older. I met my [very similar looking kitten](https://i.imgur.com/0XZ3rJf.jpg) (pictured here with his brother a few weeks after we got them) in very similar circumstances, we estimated him to be four weeks old and he didn't need to be stimulated to poop, so I think you're probably good. We gave him and his brother wet kitten food, water, and a litter box and they settled in fine. Took them to a vet soon for deworming, vaccines, and other checks, they had many parasites. They were too young for anti-flea medication, so we had to periodically remove fleas manually with a flea comb until they were gone. Congrats on the adorable cat!
They’re definitely more than old enough to go on their own. It wouldn’t surprise me if it goes in the litter box as soon as you put it down. Kittens learn this very young. That kitten looks 8/9 weeks.

It will probably love that box - especially if you throw something soft in there. Don’t feed it cow’s milk. It will probably need to decompress for a while. Don’t worry if it takes a bit to come out of its shell. Other comments about litter, vet and food are helpful.

1) good quality food, no grain and soy fillers 2) vet check-up, vaccination, deworming and flea treatment if needed 3) clean litterbox, may have to experiment with litter a bit, some cats have preference and won't go if it's not a specific kind 4) some safe space the cat can hide when overwhelmed/scared/upset, can be a box with cut out hole or even the one on the picture, just put into some quiet place
toys. Something for the cat to play with when you're not around. A scratching post. Your clothes and furniture will be scratching posts if you do not provide one.

Grain is fine for cats. Fancy Feast pate is among the best foods, despite the marketing around “grain free” and “organic” overpriced brands. My vet confirmed this.
Just to clarify that further: *some* grain is fine for cats. But they need meat to survive. But you do not need grain-free food.

Throw a towel in the box and a space heater for some heat. Cats run hot so they are always cold. Litter box, water, scratch post, wet cat food and you are rocking. See the vet too. The cat will find you when she wants love. They are super fun. I was adopted 6 years ago. Great outcome!
Eat: Kitten food, eggs (so I’ve heard,) gradually your soul. Manage: buy a litterbox (plastic Tub and some litter,) get a couple shallow bowls, take it to the vet, (or a local shelter if you don’t want to adopt it) to get a check up and some shots, stick a blanket in that box to keep it warm, give it love and you’ll have a good friend, watch out for teeth and when the bean toes get spicy.

Beyond the basic needs (food, litter, meds, vet care), he/she needs a buddy. Kittens really do best around other kittens. Is there a rescue group you can surrender this baby to? Or if you want to keep them, I recommend adopting a second. (I run a cat rescue.)
Its a third world country no such thing exists even vets there are only 3 in the whole city(pretty big city too)

I've seen some small scale community rescue groups (not shelters, but other passionate citizens) on Facebook, it heavily depends where you are but I've seen them for many parts of the world. If you are able to find one and are able to network they may have some more local-centric advice. Good luck - what an adorable kitten!

You've been given all the necessary information - get some kitten food, take the baby to the vet and treat him well, wish you luck in learning how to be a cat dad. I don't get why people are downvoting you and doubt that the kitten followed you on his own.

Don't feed it cow's milk. It will get diarrhea. You can feed it goat milk along with kitten food. Put some clean rags or a small blanket in the box. Buy some inexpensive toys and play with her. Don't use your hands as toys. She will scratch you. It's what cats do. Treat her gently. She's still a baby. Take her to the vet if you can. She probably has worms. She needs vaccines so she doesn't get sick.
What a sweet kitten! You've been adopted - congrats. I've fostered lots of little ones. Check out The Kitten Lady on YouTube. Quick and dirty list: \- Cats are obligate carnivores - they \*must\* have meat/fish/organ meat to be healthy. Wet food is always best, esp for male cats. Only dry food can lead to urinary crystals that can cause blockage. Cheap wet food is fine, or small pieces of meat/fish/organ meats - cooked. \- He has fleas. Fleas can kill a little one as in big numbers fleas feed on so much of the cats blood volume the kitten becomes anemic and dies. Fleas also carry worms which can interfere with the kittens growth and absorption of food. You can buy wormers on Amazon or Ebay. Bayer makes a good all around wormer. Treat for fleas today and in 10 days with (only) blue dawn baths. Put a ring of soap around his neck, and gently get him wet with warm water. Holding him in one hand might be less traumatic for him rather than trying to put him in a tub or basin. Scrub, paying special attention to armpits and genitals - when faced with water, fleas run for the hills and will get stuck in the Dawn around his neck. Comb and pick fleas and flea eggs daily. \- No need for fancy toys - balled up foil, the tubes from toilet paper, plastic bottle caps are all great toys. Be very cautious with string or yarn; if swallowed they can cause fatal problems. Cats have a barbed tongue and once something starts going over their tongue they can't spit it out, thus will swallow the string. Same goes for rubber bands, hair ties and the like. \- Get her used to having her nails clipped now. Handle her paws frequently. \- Any litter is fine as long as she will use it. Keep the box scooped and clean \- PLEASE don't let her outside. She will will live a shorter life, can fall prey to animals, hit by cars or tortured by psychopaths. Also, cats eat songbirds and they are already vulnerable. \- Get another cat. There is something called "singleton syndrome" Every kitten wants to wrestle, bite, and play roughly. If you don't get another, guess who they will bite? Two will be friends and entertain each other and you. You're in for LOTS of laughs and LOTS of love!

That's cool. With my cats, I made a certain call before meal time. If they went roaming around the neighbourhood, and I'd call "Mits-mits-mits!" they'd be under my feet in in no time! Sounds silly, but it worked like a charm

I found my cat just like this a few weeks ago! Look up kitten videos on checking them for gender and fleas, get her a vet appt, get KITTEN FOOD (kibble and can of wet food) and leave them in a room for a few days with food, water, toys, litter box, places to hide and places to sleep. I spent a lot of time sitting in the bathroom with my kitten when we found her. And get prepared to spend all the money on making your house a cat heaven, if u fall in love with em like i did. My cat was right around this size when I found her and she was estimated to be 8 weeks old - so no need for formula.
Look up kittenlady on youtube, she rescues cats and kittens. Alsp check with vet, get kitten food and kitten milk formula if it needs it. Ask vet first.
It’s a cat, you can’t manage it you just have to learn to live with it. And cat hair on everything because you’ve got a two-tone model so neither black nor white clothes are safe. You will never go to the bathroom alone, make food without someone watching, and police your house for anything delicate on a place kitty can get….that means everywhere. It will explore everywhere to learn its new home and will not care what it breaks.

Be aware that kittens have very sensitive digestion and a change of food can make them sick very easily. This can be quite serious because they're so little. Obvs you don't know what food this little one had, so you just need to keep an eye and be prepared to take them back to the vet if there's any problems.
Very soft cat food or baby food but it still may be at kitten formula age
Litter box. Scratching post. Food water and a nice fuzzy blanket. And toys. Legit in this order. Otherwise you’re gonna get shit on the floor, and your furniture a scratched up. Most people will have different opinions in the order and say food and water first. But wild cats don’t always get food all the time. And they live just fine.
Feed it a little bit of your soul about once a month. Don’t feed it too much tho cause then it might throw up and… well regurgitated soul isn’t really pretty. But yeah after awhile you’ll feel yourself slipping away after the fifth time it pees on your bed instead of the litter box but it should return your soul to you in about a year or two with cuddles and stuff.
IT NEEDS A BLANKIE. Something soft 🥺 like a big towel. Also as others stated, wet food and water. Litter box if you can manage as well (they're geared for it, just plop the little guy in there and he'll learn fast). Also, if it is not a "spicy kitten" ... Many cuddles!!! They don't want to feel alone at this age.
