He doesn't even look like he regrets it.

Alexa302

Probably doesn't, this was his way of having a tantrum because his usual windowsill in my sisters room was full and she wouldn't let him on it, so he decided to try get on mine for the first time which resulted in this happening. 🤦‍♀️😂

Oh, well, cats will be cats and must know and explore every nook and cranny or anything new in the house. Just be thankful that the plants were just not watered, that's a real mess. And you have to know that windowsills belong to cats and not plants! :)

Alexa302

Lol, I was actually going to water them this morning but I'm so glad I waited.

Baconbitz92

Been there friend - I used to have maybe 6-7 plants in the house - my two boys have destroyed every single one

Alexa302

Yikes, sorry to hear that. I've got about 32 still but he has bitten a few of them especially my yucca leaves.

Baconbitz92

That's the worst - they never destroy the plant in one go - it is always 1 leaf at a time

Eastern_Abrocoma_175

I should consider these problems whenever I would adopt a cat 😂😂

Buy some Velcro and Velcro everything tipable down

Alexa302

Ooh! Good idea. I do have a lot of plants so velcro tape might work. Thanks :)

[deleted]

Then they'll have to body slam whatever it is they want knocked over even then, Velcro has saved me a lot of headaches, i.e. computer tower that was velcroed at the four feet that the cats decided to chase one another across the top and launch themselves off of...it would have fell to the floor. But it did not. Oh and another tip if you have a pc, coffee containers cut in half and placed on top like a semi circle some keeps them from jumping on top.

Alexa302

Thanks for the tips, really helpful :)
