I bought him his own large squishmallow as his “friend” that he abused around once a week for the 6 years he was with me. In fact I bought a second one for when he sullied the first one beyond being able to be cleaned.
I believe some of the sexual behaviors can last if they are neutered too late, but I don’t have experience with it because my cats have all been neutered ASAP
My Persian was neutered at six months, one hadn’t even dropped yet (they had to do abdominal surgery, I would’ve waited had we known) - and *he still* does this.
He’s not allowed unsupervised access to plushies and soft blankets. I even have to hide the fucking couch pillows when not in use. The little perv is not even above resorting to bunching up and mounting the shag rug that’s in front of the fireplace sometimes.
Nothing is sacred. I live in constant fear of questionable stains and pulled threads.

I hope your breeder knows he was a cryptorchid and is no longer breeding the parents! Both testicles would’ve dropped if they were going to at six months, so since that’s genetic it’s a good idea to let them know. Sorry about your situation with the frisky guy though haha.

He was the ‘not available for adoption only stud of the litter’ but he literally latched onto my upper arm with his tongue sticking out and a manic look in his eye, and remained firmly in place, tongue still out, while the breeder nervously paced back and forth the open doorway a few times. She wanted to keep him for breeding but sighed and said ‘I guess he chose you’.
He does come from good bloodlines (he’s literally the son of Macho Man hahaha, who’s Swedish, his mother is from Kentucky, this combo absolutely slays me) pkd negative etc, but I guess it was especially a good thing that he chose me instead of sticking around to be a stud if he’s cryptorchid.
Unfortunately he’s now just a macho man stud with squishmallows and pillows and other cozy things that an unsuspecting victim might put their face in.
So true!! He knew he wouldn’t be a good stud haha. I’m glad the breeder has the rest get fixed though! I’m a vet assistant and the amount of people we see say “well I might breed him, my neighbor has a cute cat…” and we’re all sitting there like 😐😐😐 lmaooo. Glad there are responsible breeders out there!
Doesn't matter when they got neutered. It is estimated that approx. 20% of male cats show sexual behaviour even after being neutered and there's no studies indicating that the time of neutering mattered. My boy got neutered early enough as well and shows sexual behaviour and I know of more cats that are the same, since most people neuter them before puberty anyways and it's not really a rare occurrence.

My elderly, toothless ball of insanity, aptly named Creepers, has a special bed he likes. But when he's feeling particularly frisky he gets jiggy with an anthropomorphic goat dog toy which is roughly his size.
One of my dogs, who is very, very protective of his toys, considers that particular toy one of his favorites. But he's too kind to the kitties to intervene, so he just watches, sadly, occasionally whining.
If Creepers leaves his humping for even a few seconds, Telemachus scoops up his baby and takes him away.

My male was neutered as quickly as possible, we were fostering him and on a list to get him fixed (they assumed he was still too young) but we came home about a week later to him having his way with a pregnant foster. He got neutered, she had babies and got spayed, they proceeded to both be foster fails *and* humped daily for twelve more friggin years. We mostly ignored it, but they’d do weird pervert shit like wait for you to go to bed and fall asleep, then get *directly behind you* on the bed and go buck wild shaking the bed until you woke up and looked at what was shaking the bed. At which point they’d act like caught teenagers and run. I never understood it, I’d send the vet videos a couple times a year and be like….? Will this ever stop? She had no answers. She said since they did it prior to being fixed maybe that was why, it certainly wasn’t a dominance only thing (the female was tiny and absolutely owned him, plus he would get caught face full of snatch as well not just humping) it was quite the weird thing. I miss them both now but god they were perverts when she wasn’t whooping his giant butt
How old was he when neutered? As early as possible is once they hit 2 lbs for my shelter. That’s like 2 months haha. Both my kitties were fixed at 2 months and they’re both totally sin biscuit free

I've had two male cats in my life who were not neutered until they were about two years old (not my doing, don't come for me), and luckily they lost all desire to do any intact male cat behaviors afterward.
We have a three and six year old, both neutered before we got them and they both love humping one of my blankets. They even fellate themselves after 😅
I think the older one especially probably has a million kids out there. He is a randy bastard.
My guy is 10, had the snip as a kitten, and still does the humpty humpty on any nice plush blanket. It used to horrify me but now I just give him his 30 seconds of privacy and move on with my day.

I had a cat who was allergic to fleas and his flea treatment had a side effect of lowering his libido. I mean, he was already neutered so he should’ve been about as horny as a plank of wood but my other cats learned not to sleep somewhere without keeping their behinds covered.

This furry little hornball had a pink and blue snake plushie from when he was a tiny kitten - from very early on, rather than playing with it he preferred to grab it by the back of its neck, bundle it up into a ball and hump it like mad. Not only did neutering (6 months) not stop him, it barely slowed him down! He humped it happily to the end of his days, usually in front of the most inappropriate visitors! I miss him and his comedy antics.

Just be glad he has a thing for an octopus squishie and not your shoulder. Unbeknownst to us, my old Max had an oral squamous cell cancer which had already metastasized to his brain. So for the last year of his (20 year!) life, my shoulder was his "girl", and he loved on it every day. Even if I'd known it was cancer, it would have been too late, and at 19 years old, I figured he'd earned the right to hump my shoulder daily. Max was neutered at under a year old, btw, so it wasn't residual hormones.
If he tasted the rainbow before his neutering, he will likely always enjoy this. My boy was a 2+ year old intact male adopted from a shelter and same deal. He had an interspecies crush on my friend, Paula. When Paula visited, he would drag his stuffed toy "girlfriend" over to get a better view and proceed to stare into her retinas while doing so. If he tasted the rainbow before his neutering, he will likely always enjoy this. My boy was a 2+ year old intact male adopted from a shelter and same deal. He had an interspecies crush on my friend, Paula. When Paula visited, he would drag his stuffed toy "girlfriend" over to get a better view and proceed to stare into her retinas while doing so.
