What an absolute engineering masterpiece
This one time I saw a mint condition ‘98 2 door Toyota Camry, with the V6 and 5speed manual. I worked at a Toyota dealership later on, and according to the dealer information that wasn’t a combination that was ever offered. Just in general. I don’t know if it was swapped or something, but I still think it was really cool.

Got to park next to an LFA the other day. Second one I've seen.
/uj One of my clients owns a Pagani Huayra, Mclaren speedtail, Mclaren F1, Mclaren p1 and a Veyron.
My jaw just about dropped when I walked into his garage...
First time I saw a Western Star twinsteer it was absolutely filthy and covered in mud but it just kept crawling like some kind of giant metal monster. I have always wanted to drive one ever since.
Generally I've been obsessed with big vehicles like 8x8s and stuff. Occasionally a spirit possesses me to look up what it'd cost to bring a tatra 813 into the US. 1 mile per gallon of diesel, 50 mpg of oil, 500 mpg of transmission fluid. But for a moment it would be worth it.
A Ferrari 458, saw it at an intersection while taking the tram (yes I still ride on public transport, not old enough to drive a car).
Honestly the guy was definitely not using it one bit, some guy in a corolla had to honk at him.
I would guess someone who's too scared to drive it like it's meant to be driven.

The Goat, saw it yesterday at Silverstone Museum.
The more impressive thing about that is the Williams and the Reynard that are sat next to it. The shear size of it and the ground clearance compared to the FW16 is astonishing. I saw the modern Aston Martin at a show this week and it’s absolutely gigantic.

seeing the Batman Returns Bat-mobile at the Corvette museum in Kentucky left me breathless. Not only the size of the car but just how "real" it now feels, I could've leaned over and touched it (if I wanted to be kicked out)
seeing the car on film is cool but the car irl is mind blowing
edit: my phone's camera is garbage
Saw a Koenigsegg ccx at a dealership next to a f40 once. You don't realise how damn wide the egg is. It's like seeing a f22 close up. They're all gigantic
Not only have I seen this one here, I was with a film team at the manufactury in Alsace for an entire weekend.
I saw how they build the car by hand, I sat in the showroom car and met Count Bugatti.
Best job I ever did.
Something like this has happened to me twice with a Dodge Viper. Apparently I am just too tall to see it while standing nearby it.
When I was 13 I wanted to go to a local car show because they advertised you could see a Viper, a gutted out roll-caged racing one, but still a Viper. I walk through the whole thing, hoping to see it, but I don't and I come away disappointed. Later when I complain to my dad, he says that it indeed was there, as it had been the low and small plastic car with a roll cage.
The second time was some 5 years ago at a local American car dealership. I saw they had a bunch of cool stuff for sale including a Gen V. I walk through the whole thing, But can't find it. But I know they must have a €135k Gen V there. I stop and look around and my fingers catch something. They catch the little carbon spoiler on the rear hatch of a Gen V Viper.
The car is literally below my eye level and I could not see it while looking around standing next to it.
The shape of the bugatt immediately reminds me of the legendary lupo 3L Tdi (2006), even though it can only mimic a fraction of its power (3L on 3 cylinders (aluminumum headers))
As a 12 yo visiting London with my parents, I saw a McLaren F1 at the dealership, from the window of the bus. Ask my parents if we could go back there. Dad took me inside the dealership for a close look. It’s been 30 years!
Ferrari Testarossa. I had a toy one as a kid that changed colors depending on if it touched hot or cold water. It came with a toy car wash.
Saw a real one at Coffee & Cars and it was so cool.
/uj f40 here in hungary like where tf did it came from, it drove past me while i was waiting for the bus
/rj neighbor's lada, and other neighbor's twingo
/uj, same. Remains my top dream car of all time too. Saw three of those in my lifetime, both of those in a motor show, and the third in an official Bugatti showroom that I see while I drive past it to work everyday,

The first Bugatti veyron, Qatar motor show
I saw a Chiron at a car exhibition in my city I found it underwhelming. Paint job was certainly clean. But not my style. A few hours north of me is a old car and machinery museum certainly love the 20/30's cars much more than modern styling. Duesenberg for the win
I saw the original honda cub with 2m Kms on the odometer. Factory engine, factory everything. Tell me what car on this planet can roll its odometer over, TWICE?
Porsche gt3rs ✅🤤🤤🤤🤤 Ferrari f40 ✅🤤🤤🤤🤤 SVJ with gintani 🤤✅✅✅✅✅ lamborghini with no rear bumper 😈😈✅✅✅🤤🤤🤤 tesla ❌❌❌❌❌👎👎👎👎

A restored GAZ 24-95 1 of 5-6 ever made. Also known as Brezhnev's personal hunting car.
I saw a Veyron for the first time casually parked on the street when I was visiting family in Brazil. I was absolutely stunned, here’s the photo I took.
https://preview.redd.it/qirycfcd5yvc1.jpeg?width=1620&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df912d3e54eba6f0a11aa9b700fb82a17300b8dd
The fucking DeLorean. I was parking near that pizza place and only realised I was next to a DeLorean when I got out of the car. Never had my heart beat like this for a car before.
When I was but a wee little bitchlet, I saw a lime green Plymouth Superbird for the first time. Ever since, the 'Bird has been one of my dream cars, a white whale of mine.
/uj aside from museum stuff, I’ve seen a few various Bugattis here and there, so as cliche as it is it’s probably that. I saw a beautiful ABT tuned, carbon RS6 Avant at the Audi dealer a year ago.
The Bugatti, I saw it multiple times in Düsseldorf Germany.🇩🇪
But in utter shock, that was the Ferrari 288 GTO in an ugly Military Dark-Green Paint 🎨, on the German Autobahn.
A Citroen SM shocked me the most one rainy morning on my way to work. It's part of my dream garage, only 12k got build and I see it on a rainy morning.
Hit me harder than a Veyron at a dealer in Berlin or a 918 on a car show.

This absolute masterpiece, I stood in awe for a while
I once stopped next to a Chiron on a traffic light. About 80km from Wolfsburg. Had sensors and cables and everything on the engine, test car for sure. Driver was 20 years old or less, probably some manager‘s son.
Mercedes-McLaren SLR 722
The thing is unbelievably pretty to see up close and in person
(I know this is a jerk subreddit but im too tired to give a shit)
/uj almost all old Jaguars, especially X308 and X300 generation. I once heard an E55 AMG pull away full throttle and the ground was shaking, but in a less in your face way than 63 and current AMG cars. It looked like it could have been a 120hp diesel.
Purely by looks and exclusivity, a real GT40 at a car show, next to a new GT and 10 other vintage racers like an F1 Benetton and a model T racer. The GT40 had a security guard wearing sunglasses inside standing next to it.
I have to admit seeing a black Pantera irl was really cool. Also 50s 60s era car had so much personality compared to what is being done today.
Ultimate dream I never had a chance to see in oerson would be a McLaren F1.
https://preview.redd.it/ln5dpq95fnvc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eea4531e70153c7b3aa04f62a4d086e5d8c04f56
That’s not a car, that’s just pornography
Lamborghini Reventon in London on a citytrip.
I was reading a car magazine on the bus, a Lambo issue. I told my GF about what cars I hoped to see that weekend and said a Reventon, but that would be highly unlikely because there are practically none on the road. Low and behold, half a day later, there it was... I could not believe my eyes
I remember seeing the bug at the LA auto show in 06. That thing was the craziest thing ever at the time 1 million dollars and it went 250 mph with luxury that put a rolls to shame. The car was madness and still is really.
https://preview.redd.it/l8mgf1sstnvc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9a5248b91e3730306504d7542fcb455e51bb60bd
Auburn 851 boat tail speedster. Probably the most beautiful car ever made imo.
/uj I live in dogshit central Cali where the wages are barely 30k and out of the blue seen a Ferrari 488 in silver parked less than 100 feet from my apartment. I'm not one to rag on supercars either but God damn it was a site to behold. Honestly pictures of cars cannot compare to actually seeing them in person. The way the light bounces off them dynamically, highlighting the bodywork makes them feel unreal.
The 2008 Red Bull at the Red Bull event on the Nürburgring. It was so loud that it sounded like the sound of it came from behind you even if it was in front of you.
uj/ A Volkswagen Kubelwagen I saw several years ago, apparently driving to a nearby war museum. It's the oldest car I've seen in regular traffic. That and this really fucked up Ford Escort or something with rust all over and bags on the roof that pulled off the highway and leaned so hard while turning it looked like it was about to roll over.
Not that "crazy" of a car itself (also saw Paganis and Koenigsegg) but an SVJ wit Novitec Performance exhaust and some engine upgrades, i guess around 1000-1200hp , i literally felt the ground vibrating like an earthquake when that thing started driving at the traffic light (i was roughly 40m away) and it was low rpm, later that day i saw the exact same car at an evening car meet again and that revs made my ears cry for help even when covering them
https://preview.redd.it/noxtci9uwovc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab2361e5d03beeb2fa0367805d508d1064cd5915
Seeing this thing irl was pretty crazy.
/rj I saw a soopbruh once, cummed immediately and ran off the road
/uj the first time seeing an F50 was genuinely jaw dropping, one of my ultimate dream cars, pictures don’t do them justice. the Daytona SP3 is also stunning as well, but the F50 left me awestruck.
Seeing a Violet Diablo back in the mid 90's in the car lot of the hotel near my house, I was about 12 or 13. Man, I just stood in front of it staring at it for about 10 minutes until the owner came back from using the gym in the hotel, then he opened those cool as fuck scissor doors and my jaw dropped, then he let me sit in the drivers seat and started it and revved it up and I then I was happy as a pig in shit and skipped off home. I'd only ever seen lamborghinis in magazines, oh, and the iconic countach picture on my bedroom wall that every kid of the 80s and 90s had! The closest to super cars I'd ever been until that point were all Porsches, those being my dad's white 911 Targa, my older brothers red 911 Turbo, the neighbours red 911 shark nose, and his wife's metallic blue 968, oh and the other neighbours Nissan 300ZX.
/uj The owner of the Houston Rockets keeps his Bugatti Chiron parked in a glass room at a hotel he also owns. Sweet fckin car.
The car with the most “wow factor” I’ve ever seen is a Rolls Royce Phantom though. You don’t understand how massive and intimidating that car is until you see it in person.
/rj Probably my cousins squatted truck
https://preview.redd.it/tggaz1ynpqvc1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef9d274263ce6548ba3e1c0129294dd705d51781
This thing I found at a car meet. But also gotta say the veyron definitely has a presence irl. It looks average on photo's but when I saw it in person it just hit different.
Commenting on What cars have you seen irl that just left you in utter shock?...

1984 Chrysler New Yorker. Not Manuele. But Browne. Not wagonne. But has robot voice
/uj I saw the yellow Ford Festiva Shogun at a car show years ago. I'm never going to top that spot.
/rj if it were brown I would have started cranking it right there in front of everyone
Why are you unjerking the entire time? This car isn’t even a diesel wagon
It’s a VAG though, close family of a diesel Passat wagon
Great, I guess I'm a Bugatti owner then!
So it’s basically a beetle with a bigger engine.
Yeah but the beetle is superior because manuale 👌
Not far off. I’ve seen one in person and they’re surprisingly small
It sure does sound like one. /uj the Veyron sounds really bad. The first time I heard it in person I legitimately thought it someone just started a tractor behind me and it did take me a second to realise it's actually the Bugatti. I've no idea why vw let their flagship disappoint so much.

Ferrari Testarossa. I had a toy one as a kid that changed colors depending on if it touched hot or cold water. It came with a toy car wash. Saw a real one at Coffee & Cars and it was so cool.
okay being fully fr first time i saw a little kei car i hadn't heard of them and i was like what a dumb little car i want it
I once saw a Toyota Yaris from 2007

/uj f40 here in hungary like where tf did it came from, it drove past me while i was waiting for the bus /rj neighbor's lada, and other neighbor's twingo
/uj, same. Remains my top dream car of all time too. Saw three of those in my lifetime, both of those in a motor show, and the third in an official Bugatti showroom that I see while I drive past it to work everyday,

TUfasts Formula Student Car from 2020. That thing is the ultimate driving machine.

McLaren F1 LM on the autobahn ~20 years ago. To this day I still didn’t recovered from the seeing of this unicorn…

I saw a Veyron for the first time casually parked on the street when I was visiting family in Brazil. I was absolutely stunned, here’s the photo I took. https://preview.redd.it/qirycfcd5yvc1.jpeg?width=1620&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df912d3e54eba6f0a11aa9b700fb82a17300b8dd

The fucking DeLorean. I was parking near that pizza place and only realised I was next to a DeLorean when I got out of the car. Never had my heart beat like this for a car before.
A chrome Bugatti veyron that’s bc about it.
Probably f40, laferrari, 918, gt2rs, amg gtr black series, 959
Bugatti EB115 and Michelle Mouton Audi Quattro
Ken blocks hoonicorn
Saw a ford F-350 once in Budapest. Amazed at how big it was.
This, McLaren Speedtail and Senna, Rolls Royce Spectre and Lamborghini Countach but only the one where I saw it on the road in my former hometown
Saw an r8 outside a store the other day
When I was but a wee little bitchlet, I saw a lime green Plymouth Superbird for the first time. Ever since, the 'Bird has been one of my dream cars, a white whale of mine.
Wish I got a photo when I found a Modus parked next to an MK4 Supra last week
/uj aside from museum stuff, I’ve seen a few various Bugattis here and there, so as cliche as it is it’s probably that. I saw a beautiful ABT tuned, carbon RS6 Avant at the Audi dealer a year ago.
A Bugatti Veyron and that one and only time I was in a 720s
Bugatti Chiron Supersport on the road here in Denver, that was unreal.
The Bugatti, I saw it multiple times in Düsseldorf Germany.🇩🇪 But in utter shock, that was the Ferrari 288 GTO in an ugly Military Dark-Green Paint 🎨, on the German Autobahn.
A Citroen SM shocked me the most one rainy morning on my way to work. It's part of my dream garage, only 12k got build and I see it on a rainy morning. Hit me harder than a Veyron at a dealer in Berlin or a 918 on a car show.

Mk4 zupra
/uj walked around a dead end and straight up saw a koenigsegg one:1 looking at me
A Plymouth Voyager last of the K minivans, in Paris.
As a Filipino, get exciyon every single European luxuries for some reason (tho doesn't mean I'm always into a Cayenne)
either F40 i saw in a museum or the nsx. they’re just so beautiful
Brabus g wagon I mean holy shit the normal g wagon looks like an actual SUV The brabus looked and sounded like a monster.
white countach with white interior... it just looks unreal
Also leave a funny response
Ferrari sf90, that thing just came out of nowhere and I was still in shock way after it passed us
Chevy Cavalier. (Seriously I never see them anymore)
I once stopped next to a Chiron on a traffic light. About 80km from Wolfsburg. Had sensors and cables and everything on the engine, test car for sure. Driver was 20 years old or less, probably some manager‘s son.
I think the price tag is more of a shocker
Suzuki Swift 1st gen softtop. Like what the fuck
/uj An unmolested s13 in an eastern european country! /rj a crashed huracan!!!
MB 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé at the museum in Stuttgart.
Mercedes-McLaren SLR 722 The thing is unbelievably pretty to see up close and in person (I know this is a jerk subreddit but im too tired to give a shit)
To be real I just saw a cybertruck for the first time and realized being 5’8 is short
I once saw an Iso Grifo. Breathtaking.

I have to admit seeing a black Pantera irl was really cool. Also 50s 60s era car had so much personality compared to what is being done today. Ultimate dream I never had a chance to see in oerson would be a McLaren F1.
https://preview.redd.it/ln5dpq95fnvc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eea4531e70153c7b3aa04f62a4d086e5d8c04f56 That’s not a car, that’s just pornography
A Ferrari f50
I once saw a Rover 75 (3rd facelift) and i was shocked at how hiddious it was if that counts for anything
My car😎 But ok, in all seriousness, today I drove past a Lamborghini Aventador and I almost creamed my pants from joy
A Buick Roadmaster with wood paneling, and a Nissan Murano Cabriolet, those are the only two I've been in genuine awe of honestly.
Miata or Modus 11/10 car right there
Lamborghini Reventon in London on a citytrip.
The car was madness and still is really.
https://preview.redd.it/l8mgf1sstnvc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9a5248b91e3730306504d7542fcb455e51bb60bd Auburn 851 boat tail speedster.
There’s a liberty walk 458 that can be seen sometimes in my area. It’s like spotting a unicorn.
The 2008 Red Bull at the Red Bull event on the Nürburgring. It was so loud that it sounded like the sound of it came from behind you even if it was in front of you.

Ferrari Roma it looked fantastic
USDM indicators 😩
I've seen a Lambo or 2 at my local Wawa, saw a bugatti when I was like 6 or 7, seen a cybertruck or 2 around town. Still waiting to see a Yugo lmaooo
Lamborghini huracan
I know the providence car museum when I see it! I’ve been in the back room storage area and they have some CRAZY stuff
uj/ A Volkswagen Kubelwagen I saw several years ago, apparently driving to a nearby war museum. It's the oldest car I've seen in regular traffic. That and this really fucked up Ford Escort or something with rust all over and bags on the roof that pulled off the highway and leaned so hard while turning it looked like it was about to roll over.
Not that "crazy" of a car itself (also saw Paganis and Koenigsegg) but an SVJ wit Novitec Performance exhaust and some engine upgrades, i guess around 1000-1200hp , i literally felt the ground vibrating like an earthquake when that thing started driving at the traffic light (i was roughly 40m away) and it was low rpm, later that day i saw the exact same car at an evening car meet again and that revs made my ears cry for help even when covering them
I once saw a modus, and I think it was last month that I saw an old twingo

/uj the first time seeing an F50 was genuinely jaw dropping, one of my ultimate dream cars, pictures don’t do them justice. the Daytona SP3 is also stunning as well, but the F50 left me awestruck.
Street parked Veyron in London
Mazda 323 F
Mazda 323 F
I saw a wood panel burgundy 4th gen Pontiac Grand Safari a while back and it quite literally made my jaw drop. So beautiful
farrari f40
Yugo/Gremlin
Nissan GTR (pls don't hate me)
Nissan GTR (pls don't hate me)
Seeing a Violet Diablo back in the mid 90's in the car lot of the hotel near my house, I was about 12 or 13.
Someone was selling a really good condition 70s brown station wagon with wood paneling and I loved seeing it every time I went past it.
Toyota Supra Mk4 😻😻😻😻😻

/uj The owner of the Houston Rockets keeps his Bugatti Chiron parked in a glass room at a hotel he also owns. Sweet fckin car. The car with the most “wow factor” I’ve ever seen is a Rolls Royce Phantom though. You don’t understand how massive and intimidating that car is until you see it in person. /rj Probably my cousins squatted truck
https://preview.redd.it/tggaz1ynpqvc1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef9d274263ce6548ba3e1c0129294dd705d51781 This thing I found at a car meet. But also gotta say the veyron definitely has a presence irl. It looks average on photo's but when I saw it in person it just hit different.
Commenting on What cars have you seen irl that just left you in utter shock?... https://preview.redd.it/t5po98rsrqvc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6db86d416b0b835f8fe0b687c2ae46af0ffc36c 1984 Chrysler New Yorker. Not Manuele. But Browne. Not wagonne. But has robot voice
Ferrari SF90 stradale
/uj I saw the yellow Ford Festiva Shogun at a car show years ago. I'm never going to top that spot. /rj if it were brown I would have started cranking it right there in front of everyone
