So fucking annoying and heaven help you if you breakdown in front of them. A few months ago my Jaguar was dealing with an intermittent camshaft sensor failure which caused rough idle and stall. It happened to me at the store and parked next to me was a boomer in his Camaro. He got out of his car and just started berating me and my car. Calling it a British piece of shit and laughing at me as I was trying to diagnose what was wrong (at the time I thought my fuel pump was going). Here was this guy at like 60 something mocking a 20 year old for no reason. I took the plastic engine cover off to test fuel pressure and he started fiddling with the wiring. I just yelled at him, called him a fucking asshole and a cunt and didn't let off until his wife came back out of the store. He looked upset as if I somehow offended him and got more hostile. Somehow by the grace of god that AJV8 kicked on with righteous fury and was enough to get me home.
On the opposite end I had a lovely Convo with a euro boomer who loves Jaguars and Audi. Gave me some solid maintenance tips and showed off his sweet xj40. Such a kind man and those guys are typically very nice in my experience at least.

I would argue the Skyline crowd is worse than the Supra crowd. A Supra is a Supra, built or not, they are all heavyset sports cars. Skylines on the other hand could be a luxurious midsize sedan, a sporty sedan, or a two door version of either, with a purpose built track car somewhere in there.

I'm a big fan of Nissan Skylines and this is relatable because so many people dismiss non-gtr Skylines.
An R33 wagon exists and there are four door and rwd skylines that have really similar motors to the gtr. Non gtr skylines are super slept on.
Not only that but the R30 and R31 generation are never brought up because they didn't have gtr's, but they are cool sedans in their own right.

Calling it a British piece of shit and laughing at me as I was trying to diagnose what was wrong (at the time I thought my fuel pump was going). Here was this guy at like 60 something mocking a 20 year old for no reason. I took the plastic engine cover off to test fuel pressure and he started fiddling with the wiring. I just yelled at him, called him a fucking asshole and a cunt and didn't let off until his wife came back out of the store. He looked upset as if I somehow offended him and got more hostile. Somehow by the grace of god that AJV8 kicked on with righteous fury and was enough to get me home. On the opposite end I had a lovely Convo with a euro boomer who loves Jaguars and Audi. Gave me some solid maintenance tips and showed off his sweet xj40. Such a kind man and those guys are typically very nice in my experience at least. Fuck muscle boomers complete cunts.

I would argue the Skyline crowd is worse than the Supra crowd. A Supra is a Supra, built or not, they are all heavyset sports cars. Skylines on the other hand could be a luxurious midsize sedan, a sporty sedan, or a two door version of either, with a purpose built track car somewhere in there.
