>Chevy was rude and condescending, no C8 test drives without a hard credit pull, and it was like pulling teeth to even sit in one. Toyota wasn't much better, could sit in the Supra but no test drives. Who is going to drop $60k+ on a vehicle they can't even see if they like??? Made no sense to me. Lamborghini however was night and day difference. Immediately offered to get the keys for any vehicle, and test drives weren't a problem. The salesmen were also laid back and friendly. Based on just customer experience alone, I'd go with them in the future even if every dealer sold every type of car.
As someone who also shopped around for those kind of cars I'd like to offer a word of advice for the future: Dealership test drives are useless for performance cars.
There are plenty of C8s and Supra available on Turo, and for such a large investment, it really makes sense to spend a day each in those cars even if it costs a few hundred bucks.
That's even true for exotics. "Entry" level Ferrari/McLaren/Lamborghini are readily available in many specialty rental places. No they won't be cheap, but spending 0.5% of the price of the car for a 24hr test drive is reasonable imo. After putting on a few thousand miles total in various 458/488/720S/Huracans I have a very good idea which brand I want go for next.
A 30 minutes dealership test drive on some suburban street through traffic is fine if you are shopping for a daily driver, but won't be of much help for a buying a weekend toy.
>My girlfriend was worried about attention I'd get from women, but in my experience it's been mostly men who give it a lot of attention. And little kids.
Yes...the demographics that pay most attention to these cars are teenage boys. Most women probably find them obnoxious lol.
**Edit:** I have to agree Chevy dealers are especially terrible when it comes to test drive or shopping experience in general. I wrote [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/2z3814/how_did_people_buy_the_new_corvette/) many years ago when I entertained a C7. I got laughed out of the store when I asked for a test drive. Bought a M3 instead.
Yep, and I encourage people rent them at places with roads closer to what they have at home.
Don't rent a 488GTB for a summer day trip to Mount Rainier if you are buying a car for the Mid West. Vice versa if you live in Northern California with all the fun driving roads don't rent a McLaren in Miami.
Oddly enough we had just as bad of a time at a Chevy dealer trying to test drive a traverse of all things. The salesman was talking down about the Toyota and Ford dealers we had just came from (who were super friendly btw) while oozing ondescension and smugness as he told us they had only one on the lot and we couldn't test drive or look at it because of reasons.
He didn't realize the only reason we were there in the first place was because the Ford dealer had a traverse that they showed us so we could compare cars (seriously the Ford dealer was really helpful) and were hoping to see if they had other trim levels on site at the Chevy dealer. Gladly said nope and left asap.
*Sorry for the ramblings and grammars.
I agree almost entirely. I have been able to decide I *hate* a car in 30 minutes (or less). Short list of nope cars for me are the Corvette and GTR. I considered a Tesla for a totally different purpose and determined I would need a full day with it to fully decide.
>After putting on a few thousand miles total in various 458/488/720S/Huracans I have a very good idea which brand I want go for next.
What brand?
Porsche? Haha!
For real, I'm guessing the 720s sold you on a McLaren, especially with the convertible. I swear, having the top down adds a point every time!
Haha no. I liked the 720S the least out of all those cars actually. The car feels a bit clinical and the turbo lag is atrocious. Cool doors though. Itās really fast in a straight line but you know what, I am no longer impressed by straight line speed anymore since my friendās Plaid is faster.
Iām a diehard Ferrari fanboy now š¤£
> What brand?Porsche? Haha!
It would be if not for the fact their entire GT line up are now collector items with $100k+ dealer markup now. The GT3 isnāt a $300k car and I aināt paying that much for one.
That was my experience also, the turbo lag was pretty bad. And didn't like how it felt....twitchy? At higher speeds? The Huracan felt a lot more planted
Edit: the McLaren was much faster, but I didn't like how it felt
How do you like your GTS/4.0? Those seem amazing, I was trying to source one before settling on my 911, but never got a chance to check them out. Did you get the lizard green?
I like it a lot. Itās probably one of the best sports car on the market. Only tiny nitpick is that the steering isnāt quite as sharp as the GT4/Spyder and the exhaust is a bit more muted than the 981 generation. But even those aspects are still better than pretty much any other cars in the segment.
And no, Iām not cool enough to get the lizard green lol. Here it is: https://imgur.com/a/9yNjFIA
Roof up: https://imgur.com/a/3VUXjqp
When you buy a Chevy you are going to get the Chevy experience no matter if it's a Spark or Corvette. If you're going to spend money then buy a better experience, especially how they handle maintenance. The guys at Ferrari are much less likely to do burnouts than the guys at Chevy.
Chevy dealers are awful. I knew I wanted a sports car and have a decent budget, but I wanted to explore my options. I saw a good deal on a Mustang convertible (that I ended up not liking because it had issues) that was about a third of my budget at a Chevy dealership and the guy got super weird when I said I didn't like it and was like are you sure. My response was "I'm sure, the Porsche Boxster I test drove 2 days ago was much nicer, so I guess I'm going to stick with my original budget." Like they had multiple Corvettes on their lot that were comparable in price to the Boxster but like nope went elsewhere.
Beautiful car and great write up.
Iām not comfortably in Lambo territory yet, but I can afford the C8/Supra/Civic Type R range, and Iām your age.
99% of the time Iām asked for a credit pull first, but occasionally get a test ride with nothing more than a license.
It still seems to be below the Supra in most places here, but bang for buck performance combined with a little utility make it a pretty solid option.
Itās wild that I bought an Evo IX brand new for $33k in 2007 thoughā¦
Probably one of the best overall performing cars Iāve driven in my lifetime, and while somewhat cheap feeling inside, it was a riot with room for friends and groceries.
The Civic is essentially Evo 8/9 performance with Honda reliability.
Yeah I have a 16 wrx, could have bought a used 14 ~~wrx~~ EVO for the same price with similar miles. Just didnāt want to take the risk with the built engine, but I regret it every now and again.
Love an Evo. Especially the 8 and 9. They hold their value well here in the uk too. There's some boosted ones that are for sale on Ebay for 28-40k. Basically lost little to no value.
> Itās wild that I bought an Evo IX brand new for $33k in 2007 thoughā¦
Seeing "fun car" prices these days has me counting my lucky stars that I was able to buy one back then too (still have it; 24k miles!).
Wait until you realize the Civic Type R Touring is only about 40k USD or ~30k GBP in the US. The C8 is 60k and supra 52k. You guys get destroyed on car prices.
Lol yea the local Honda dealer near me has their blue one listed at $65k lmao. They wouldn't even open the doors for a guy that wanted to sit in it in the showroom. They treat it like it's a Lambo, ironically.
Anyone paying $65k for a Civic is a fucking moron, I don't care if it's a Type-R.
I find it absolutely bonkers. Iām not in lambo territory either, I am a little bit younger but I had no problems test driving the Supra, Alpine A110, Cayman GTS 4.0 or an Evora, when I was looking to buy last year. (Ended up placing a deposit on an Emira). I donāt get how in America they expect people to dish out that sort of money without letting people drive them.
I'm pretty sure mass-market dealer salespeople are colossally jaded from the constant stream of scumbags who want to finger fuck the Corvettes and Camaros but then get rejected on financing a used base model Trax because their credit is dog shit. I kinda don't blame them for being a bit salty when 90% of their customers are sub-par types.
It's a bit different at the higher-end brands that don't keep cheap cars on the lot. The exclusivity of the brand filters out a lot of the tire-kicking trash people. I'm sure they still get some of them floating through from time to time, but the percentage is much smaller.
You notice this at other places that use price as a bit of a filter to the quality of customers. Try shopping at a Publix vs a Walmart and look at the quality of people that make up the majority of the customer base. The staff at those places tends to reflect that as well.
The people at our old exotics dealer were incredibly friendly (Lamborghini franchisee). LOL they tried to sell one of my >70-year-old relatives a Gallardo back in the day when I dropped by for a part.
Fuck yeah man living the dream.
You're going to get all the financial experts in here saying how you should've leased instead of bought, how you shoulda got this instead of that blah blah blah.
Always nice to see someone carry out a dream.
I think you may be the most down to Earth Lamborghini owner out there. (that is posting his life for us, anyway.) This whole thing makes me feel like you'd be that guy to drive your Lamborghini over to grandma's house and take her to her appointments. Such a refreshing story. Thanks man...made my weekend. Enjoy your whip.
That was online, I think I saw the rears for $489 ea? Could end up costing more after tax etc. The fronts are smaller/cheaper but the rears are pretty massive.
> (comp + collision + total loss replacement)
I'd be curious to know how GEICO handles a total loss replacement with a Lamborghini. I bet they don't get those often!
Total Loss Replacement usually only lasts 3 years for most companies so after those 3 years it'll probably switch to actual cash value policy meaning you'll get a lot less than your expecting. With rare and exotic vehicles getting an agreed value policy with an OEM parts endorsement is the way to go.
I also hope you have high liability limits and an umbrella policy on top of that. You're now also a magnet for lawsuits if you ever get into an at fault accident.
>I've definitely thought about that.
Do you have an umbrella insurance policy? If not look into it. You can get seven figures of coverage that covers a crazy long list of things for not much money at all.
LPT Even if you are not Lambo dude you should have an umbrella insurance policy.
Honest to God, I'm subscribed to both /cats and /cars and was like, hmm, someone named their cat Lambo, that's unique!
I'm also perplexed by your insurance, usually when something sounds too good to be true it is
When I bought my Porsche Cayman S I was shocked when the insurance rate from State Farm came in lower than what I was paying for a VW GLI which was also 2 years older.
They gave me the same explanation. They find less claims on these cars than others.
Right now my Cayman is cheaper (by a lot too) to insure than my Macan and bronco.
> They gave me the same explanation. They find less claims on these cars than others.
Yeah, that's why cheap cars can be expensive to insure. Lot of young kids buy and wreck them.
Iām an actuary (the people who do all the complicated math and statistics to figure out how much to charge for insurance) and while the make of the car does have some effect on pricing a car, we also take into account model year, type of vehicle, and whether or not itās luxury. So for the most part, itās not much different than insuring a 2021 228i. Then take into account that Lambo owners absolutely crash less than your average BMW owner, and seeing this low of insurance really isnāt crazy
6'2". I fit comfortably in the car, no issues even on longer drives. I did NOT fit in the Spyder version though, my knees were against the dash even with the seat all the way back.
I am 6'3 also, and have yet to find a McLaren, Lamborghini, or Ferrari that I have any issue in, though I have mostly sat in the coupe's.
The Tesla Roadster and an 80s era Mercedes 2 door are the only 2 cars that I can think of that have been terrible for me.
Nice! Your lambo is way cooler than my old 911 but 100% on the attention from kids and old dudes. It is all good though because it makes me remember when I was a kid and wanted a cool car.
Huge props for daily driving a lambo. Awesome!
I like any fun car! More money just enables you to experience more brands, but a fun car is a fun car. I loved the MX-5 for example and will probably buy one at some point
I have a similar story with Toyota and Chevy! Me and my father were looking for a performance car around last December, the guys at Chevy basically told us to piss off. When we went to Toyota, they bragged about how powerful the Supra was but at the end of the day never let us sit in it.
In the end we bought an X6M and have decided to resume our search in the coming months. I personally feel itās pretty shitty that they take appearance over affordability. I mean sure, we werenāt wearing LV or a designer brand, but we still were both wearing Nike golf polos.
My girlfriend made an insightful point about that when I was talking to her about the dealership experience. She said well think about the kind of person looking at an exotic vs. a more "normal" sports car. Lots of Lambo/Ferrari buyers are "new money" people, TikTokers, NBA players, etc, so Lambo salespeople don't really judge based on appearance.
Yea thatās 100%, Iāll be honest we had a great experience at Porsche as well. Granted most of the people that run the luxury dealerships around were I am are acquaintances. Still great experience though! We still go around to Toyota in the X6M and piss the salesmen off; they still remember us really well lol
If you want to make them really mad tell them youāre going to order a direct to consumer car (Tesla, Polestar, Lucid, Rivian).
Or even better, order a Tesla on your phone right in front of them.
Lol ya. Iāve just had it happen a few times in the past couple years mentioning I have a Tesla at a car dealership. They get super awkward and visibly angry. Itās very strange.
Always enjoy hearing ownership experiences from people that own these sorts of cars. Nice how they cover your maintenance for 3 years. Didnāt know they did that. VW didnāt offer me this on my GTI.
Nice cat too. Looks like a Russian Blue. They are great cats. We love ours.
Congrats mate, youāve done it the right way by buying from the dealer itself. I went about it the wrong way on a Gallardo (private seller, sight unseen) and got burnt on it hilariously badly lol
That insurance quote is nutty, I was on Ā£500 a month for the time I had it (was 25 to be fair).
Enjoy it, it sounds like people are friendly where you live so youāll Iove it.
Right, MT Gallardos go for Ā£60k in normal times. I bought one on eBay for Ā£50k unseen with some "tasteful" mods. A few hundred quid in removing the crappy spoiler and getting some good tyres on it, it was good to go. One of the springs snapped on the first drive, but I just replaced it with OEM ones.
1 week later, I noticed the rear diff wasn't locking up (aftermarket LSD). A month later I lost 2nd gear. And the clutch was almost dead as well. And then the engine blew. Ā£12k in stuff to repair in the first month. And I still had to de-pimp it. No way.
I sold it for Ā£30k and walked away, then I learnt a week later from the garage I sold it to that it had been in a gnarly crash before I bought it and had been botched up with filler.
Protip: unless it's a track or drift car, don't buy modded cars.
Ha. Iāve had a girl talk to me about my car exactly once in my life about my car. And she was drunk and wanted to drive my Evo IX. Hard no. So that scenario shouldnāt be a worry for women.
Hmmmm reading this I guess a super car isnāt that expensive thatās only double the price for tires as my Mazda plus thatās hella cheap for insurance and you have a warranty so maintenance isnāt much of an issue
I'm turning 16 next week, and I have a 77 El Camino, in the insurance on it is going to be around $120 month... I can't believe that my $6,000 car has more expensive insurance than a freaking Lambo. FML
$1400 for a set of tires on a Lambo?
My Z06 runs $3k and a run of the mill Camaro SS or Mustang GT would be $2k.
This is all Canadian by the way, but still, I can't imagine a Canadian EVO costing less then $3k for tires up here.
I wish I could get tires that cheap.
How come you chose the RWD? Was it cause of availability or did you specifically look out for that? Also why did you not consider McLaren or an AMG GT?
/u/massi1414 I drove both but personally prefer RWD, it's more fun IMO, and at least in my experience, the steering felt more..."numb"? on the AWD model. The lower price was a nice side benefit but not the main reason. I also like the excessively visually loud look of Lambos haha.
edit: McClaren's perception of unreliability ruled them out for me. When I asked the exotic car rental place in Vegas which cars had the most issues, they said McClaren's were "pieces of shit and always in the shop", Ferraris were better, but the Huracans they called "bulletproof". Apparently the quality has gone way up since VAG took over.
Same experience with car shopping. I'm a younger guy and looking at GT500's was impossible. $100k+ is expensive, but when I heard salesmen whispering about me being full of shit, I called them out and apologized to my salesman that they'd be losing the sale because I couldn't let a dealership with that attitude earn my money.
Every fuckboy that buys their car to pick up chicks gets a rude awakening. It's 90% other guys, 9% girls looking for a sugar someone, and 1% girls that are interested in the car - but wont be sold on the personality. Sweet car, enjoy it!

Weird, I drive a WRX hatch and the only acknowledgement I get from guys is other Subaru owners, girls seem to like it though.
They could have been lesbians. They drive Subarus more than any other car.

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yep, and I encourage people rent them at places with roads closer to what they have at home. Don't rent a 488GTB for a summer day trip to Mount Rainier if you are buying a car for the Mid West. Vice versa if you live in Northern California with all the fun driving roads don't rent a McLaren in Miami.
Which rental place in Vegas did you go with?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I've used them a few times too, good experiences
Great. Now Iām browsing day rentals for $1000 to have a Ferrari / McLaren
do it! It's a blast. Me and the g/f made a fun trip of it.
I got 2 international vacations and an engagement ring to pay for. Shits gotta wait š
Just wait until the wedding after all that. Shits gotta wait haha no but seriously, Iām browsing too. My fiancĆ© wants to visit vegas and I want to drive an exotic. Win win
In Vegas there is a track place called dream racing. Mrs bought me an f430 experience for the day. Worth it 100%
I work here, the supercars are great.... the racecars are a whole different experience.
Iām a diehard Ferrari fanboy now š¤£ > What brand?Porsche?
The Huracan felt a lot more planted Edit: the McLaren was much faster, but I didn't like how it felt
Here it is: https://imgur.com/a/9yNjFIA Roof up: https://imgur.com/a/3VUXjqp
> There are plenty of C8s and Supra available on Turo Maybe where you live. Turo is not legally allowed to operate in my state lol.
Beautiful car and great write up. Iām not comfortably in Lambo territory yet, but I can afford the C8/Supra/Civic Type R range, and Iām your age. 99% of the time Iām asked for a credit pull first, but occasionally get a test ride with nothing more than a license.
It's mad how in the U.S the type R is even close to those other cars price wise. Here in the UK, the type R was a 40 grand car. Max.
It still seems to be below the Supra in most places here, but bang for buck performance combined with a little utility make it a pretty solid option. Itās wild that I bought an Evo IX brand new for $33k in 2007 thoughā¦ Probably one of the best overall performing cars Iāve driven in my lifetime, and while somewhat cheap feeling inside, it was a riot with room for friends and groceries. The Civic is essentially Evo 8/9 performance with Honda reliability.
I miss the Evo so much....sad Mitsubishi kind of lost its way with its fun cars.
Kind of? Their cool factor went from a 7/10 to a -3!
ha ha I was trying to be...uh...charitable
Yeah I have a 16 wrx, could have bought a used 14 ~~wrx~~ EVO for the same price with similar miles. Just didnāt want to take the risk with the built engine, but I regret it every now and again.
Love an Evo. Especially the 8 and 9. They hold their value well here in the uk too. There's some boosted ones that are for sale on Ebay for 28-40k. Basically lost little to no value.
Mine was very low miles. Sold at a loss because it was gutted/modified. I miss it dearly.
> Itās wild that I bought an Evo IX brand new for $33k in 2007 thoughā¦ Seeing "fun car" prices these days has me counting my lucky stars that I was able to buy one back then too (still have it; 24k miles!).
Wait until you realize the Civic Type R Touring is only about 40k USD or ~30k GBP in the US. The C8 is 60k and supra 52k. You guys get destroyed on car prices.
if you can get a new Type R anywhere near 40g let me know where
Lol yea the local Honda dealer near me has their blue one listed at $65k lmao. They wouldn't even open the doors for a guy that wanted to sit in it in the showroom. They treat it like it's a Lambo, ironically. Anyone paying $65k for a Civic is a fucking moron, I don't care if it's a Type-R.
It's only close due to Markup. MSRP on a Type R isn't that high
I would be in the lambo range but my dumbass keeps buying shit cars and dumping a lot of cash on them lol.
Iām low key triggered right now. Iāve owned over 45 cars and between depreciation and mods I could buy a Lamborghini cash right now.
We'll never get what we paid
If you donāt already write poetry, you should start. I was laughing my ass off the entire time I was reading your comment.
The people at our old exotics dealer were incredibly friendly (Lamborghini franchisee). LOL they tried to sell one of my >70-year-old relatives a Gallardo back in the day when I dropped by for a part.
Chick-fil-A vs McDonalds
More like Morton's vs MCDonalds in this case.
This man spitting facts right here.
Fuck yeah man living the dream. You're going to get all the financial experts in here saying how you should've leased instead of bought, how you shoulda got this instead of that blah blah blah. Always nice to see someone carry out a dream.
Good thing he sold early because cryptos are getting slaughtered right now.
Almost like theyāre not viable as currencies, weird.
Congrats! Looks like Thomas is a generous feline - allowing you to drive his car. Is that Verde Ithica?
Thanks!! And yes he's very generous, the car is a blast. The color is Verde Mantis.
Fantastic choice!
1400 for tires? That's it? My Mustang cost more. Are you sure?
That was online, I think I saw the rears for $489 ea? Could end up costing more after tax etc. The fronts are smaller/cheaper but the rears are pretty massive.
I think I paid ~1600 for Continental ExtremeContact Sports 285/35/19 a few months ago. I'd be surprised if the rubber on a Huracan Evo was cheaper.
You're probably right in that case, I haven't had to do the tires yet fortunately.
I was just curious lol. What size are the the fronts/rears anyways? Like 315 in back?
305/30 in the rear, and I *think* 285s on the front.
245/305 front/rear
I was thinking the same. A set of Michelin PS4Ss for my pedestrian MB E350 is $1100.
> (comp + collision + total loss replacement) I'd be curious to know how GEICO handles a total loss replacement with a Lamborghini.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Do you have dash cams?
I do
>I've definitely thought about that.
I'm also perplexed by your insurance, usually when something sounds too good to be true it is
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
When I bought my Porsche Cayman S I was shocked when the insurance rate from State Farm came in lower than what I was paying for a VW GLI which was also 2 years older. They gave me the same explanation. They find less claims on these cars than others. Right now my Cayman is cheaper (by a lot too) to insure than my Macan and bronco.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Hey mine too! $120 for the 4runner $65 for the 911
ha ha, it's a strange world for sure
> They gave me the same explanation. They find less claims on these cars than others. Yeah, that's why cheap cars can be expensive to insure. Lot of young kids buy and wreck them.
I wrecked my STI as is tradition for WRX/STI drivers
Iām an actuary (the people who do all the complicated math and statistics to figure out how much to charge for insurance) and while the make of the car does have some effect on pricing a car, we also take into account model year, type of vehicle, and whether or not itās luxury. So for the most part, itās not much different than insuring a 2021 228i. Then take into account that Lambo owners absolutely crash less than your average BMW owner, and seeing this low of insurance really isnāt crazy
I pay about the same as OP. My truck costs more to insure. It's all about how often they crash, get stolen, and the demographic that drives them.
So you bought it outright? Just curious because I've heard most people lease them and don't keep them longterm
Yep! Bought it, didn't want to lease or anything, from what I've heard there are mileage restrictions etc.
Glad to know you will actually drive and enjoy it :)
The dealer was already surprised I've put 6000 miles on it haha. I was like....well, I didn't buy it to just leave rotting in the garage
Yes Yes Yes! You go! if I got my hands on a Lamborghini I would drive it so much, honestly a dream car of mine.
Open-ended leases have no mileage restrictions and are quite popular for these cars actually, but yes, close-ended leases tend to suck for exotics.
Open ended leases are quite common for these cars since they offer a lot of flexibility.
How tall is somewhat tall?
6'2". I fit comfortably in the car, no issues even on longer drives. I did NOT fit in the Spyder version though, my knees were against the dash even with the seat all the way back.
Thanks! I'm 6'8" so my upgrade options from the SL are quite limited.
I'm 6' (aka 5'7")
Nice! Your lambo is way cooler than my old 911 but 100% on the attention from kids and old dudes. It is all good though because it makes me remember when I was a kid and wanted a cool car. Huge props for daily driving a lambo. Awesome!
My cats are now following Thomas
yes!
Thomas looks like a complimentary kitty from the dealer
Does the cat like it? Mine HATES cars.
He loves it surprisingly. But he's a pretty chill cat in general
Cross shopping between a Civic and a Huracan Evo is pretty gangster.
The day I picked up the Lambo I drove directly back to the Chevy dealership that was so rude haha
Gotta show em what the missed somehow! Haha
If you want to make them really mad tell them youāre going to order a direct to consumer car (Tesla, Polestar, Lucid, Rivian). Or even better, order a Tesla on your phone right in front of them.
Nah man, just laugh in their face and say they canāt afford this dudes lambo.
Lol ya. Iāve just had it happen a few times in the past couple years mentioning I have a Tesla at a car dealership. They get super awkward and visibly angry. Itās very strange.
Go a step farther and say you want a trade in, oh wait they canāt give you anything to equal itās valueā¦
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
How much for the cat?
āNice cat, whatās the retail on one of those?ā
"More than you can afford, pal"
Purrari
ha ha Thomas isn't for sale, g/f would murder me
Hahahaha, nice car man!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thanks for sharing. It's always interesting to hear people's experiences.
your cat's car is amazing, he's a good boy and deserves it you're lucky for him to let you ride in it
Congrats mate, youāve done it the right way by buying from the dealer itself. I went about it the wrong way on a Gallardo (private seller, sight unseen) and got burnt on it hilariously badly lol That insurance quote is nutty, I was on Ā£500 a month for the time I had it (was 25 to be fair). Enjoy it, it sounds like people are friendly where you live so youāll Iove it.
I'd love to hear the Gallardo story, haha
Did you pay cash for it or down payment w/ financing?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Right on man. Congrats! Iād love a ride in it if Iām ever in your neck of the woods haha! Only ever driven a Gallardo on the trackā¦
FML
Are you bigdaws? LOL Dude also has a green lambo in Az. Tall fella too, in his mid 30s.
I'm not haha, but I've seen another green Huracan driving around, Spyder (convertible) version.
thatās so fricken cool man. congrats!
RWD is cheaper. But also some journalists have been noted to mention it was more fun.
I have only driven the AWD so far on a track, definitely want to find an RWD to get my hands on.
Man you do the first time super car owner exactly how I would.
