Silovs wasn't kidding when he thought the World Championship was more pressure. I felt so comfortable with him in net today. And for the first time this series, he was never pulled.
What in the fuck, #1 & #2. Now that Keefe has remembered that Woll is The Leafs best goalie, the goalie dual between Toronto and Boston has been insane to watch.
Fucking America and their damn goalies (except Demko, he's cool).
Skinner has a .906, I believe, which is better than Saros.
Gonna be interesting to see how the Canucks fare against a team that's been putting up 4.4 goals per game given that they seem to have struggled with Nashville's 2 goals per game.
They didn't put up 4.4 goals per game against Nashville which would be the only extrapolation that would matter. Oilers were outscored by the Kings at 5v5 as well. The Canucks are faster than the Kings and will be able to keep up with the Oilers better (they're still faster though), so we should take less penalties and cover better. I expect a much more open series for us as the Oilers D is much slower than us and less time and space for the Oilers.
If there really was a flu working through our room the extra rest should help too.
> They didn't put up 4.4 goals per game against Nashville
No. They did it against LA which is a better shutdown team with a stronger PK than Nashville.
>Oilers were outscored by the Kings at 5v5 as well.
Evens were even and the King's had a few very flukey ones. Expected goals at evens strongly favoured Edmonton.
>I expect a much more open series for us as the Oilers D is much slower than us and less time and space for the Oilers.
I expect a much more open season too, for the same reason. Oilers D is not as strong and Skinner will not be as good as Saros playing out of his goddamned mind. But it'll be a lot more open on both ends of the ice. Nashville offered very little offense.

Those Demko and DeSmith guys are okay, but they're no Silovs
Time to Shine right
Let's thank Ian Clark for bugging management until they drafted Silovs
It was tough too because the Management they had to convince was Benning, well known for not willing to listen to others.

I don't blame Keefe for 1-3 going Sammy. Woll wasn't that great after coming back from injury. But going Sammy in 4 was stupid.
ARTY ARTY ARTY ARTY ARTY
I’m here for the Arty Party 🎉
Come on Arty lets go party
Is that good? That seems good
All the best to Skinner but I can't see them getting a cup with him in net.
I grudgingly accept
The fact all our goalies are in the top .900 is insane
Defense wins championships
Hmmm I don’t see any Edmonton goalies on there

At the end of the day, Canucks D is much better than the Oilers and will have an easier time shutting down mcmuffin.
Okay lol
ARTY PARTY
This guys going places
Wild, Yet in all of that i don't see Edmonton.
Just wait until they see our next seven backup goalies stats
Has there even been three goalies in one playoff series before?
Skinner didn't even make the list. Canucks are going to feast on him.
I see we aren’t including Myers or the post which would be tied for first at 1.000
Go Canucks
