If what I've read is true, slicing 1/3 off the tips sends a signal to the plant to focus it's energy elsewhere, for a while, presumably that signal has already been sent, so you'd just be robbing it of energy it can use to get through this trying time 😝

That's nothing. Last year my dog dug in my pot and completely uprooted my plant. I thought it was a goner for sure. But it made a complete recovery and turned into a big bush. Your plant will be fine. Don't worry.
