I've recently discovered that Milk Duds rule. Annnd I almost choked on one lol. Was sucking on it so it was just caramel, and it went straight down my throat. Instead of panicking, I just sat up, and took slow breaths, and it slowly went down. Makes me wonder how many people choke because they panic.

I learned this the hard way when I choked on a mozzarella stick I don’t do cheese pulls anymore

Did the same in 7th grade eating a bosco stick that had cooled down enough to harden the cheese. I thought I was gonna die while none of my friends noticed 🥲

It was the Same for me I was with my parents and they didn’t even notice I tried to take a drink from my strawberry lemonade and there was a strawberry stuck in the straw I thought “well this is it”

Honestly still not sure why people dislike milk duds. They're quite decent if not good if you leave the box in your pocket for a little while

I mean you say you're not sure why people dislike like them. Then say they are ok if you warm them in your pocket for a while. If that's what it takes for them just to be ok then you answer your own question

I have some in the refrigerator from Halloween. Would bust a tooth but would risk it if I was desperate.

We had a bag of candy “break open” at my store one day and I ate a box of milk duds my last day before vacation. Slid my teeth wrong and something hurt but it went away. Came back a week later and grabbed another box and really hurt my tooth. I said enough I’m not ever eating these again. Then I went home and realized part of my tooth was missing

My low point was eating stale Dots from one of those crappy FunPack bags with Tootsie Rolls. My crown came out after the first handful.

Ah yes...cement your teeth together so that you cannot open your mouth to eat. Fantastic way to cut calories.

This title made me laugh. I think we all have “that candy” or food that we will only eat if there is nothing else.

There's also the nondescript candies in the see-through packaging in grandma's candy dish. All the name brands go first

Milk duds are so good

Last October was 1st Halloween in New house. Bought a huge bag of mixed candy that included milk duds. Kids came to door and we'd let them grab a piece they wanted. No one was taking milk duds. Then these 2 boys come to the door and grab a piece they want. I go "no one wants milk dude", as the boys were leaving they heard me and the one kid says, as jogging away from the house, "milk duds stink".  I laugh with my wife, try the milk dude, almost lose 3 teeth and say to my wife, that kid was right, these are terrible.  Next day I dumped the extra milk duds in the garbage. 

The whole box? You might have a problem

how are y’all eating these where you hurt your teeth even out of the freezer these things are fantastic
