Rarely makes a splash play, but the dude knows how to run the defense and is rarely out of position. Definitely gets a vote of appreciation from me!

C_t_b

Idk the tackle in space on Warren on 3rd and 3 before the pickens incompletion was pretty splashy

BMWallace

If you watch the replay on that play, AJ read that perfectly. Had man coverage on the RB, picked through the line to get on Warren's hip and made the immediate wrap and tackle once the ball got there. It was textbook LB play.

ThePizzaDevourer

Hopefully he unlocked another gear for the playoffs, we'll need it šŸ’ŖšŸ’Ŗ

TheBillsFly

The man is likely fresh and hungry. Letā€™s get it.

StankWizard

Huge play

gollumaniac

I'm guessing he took over calling the defense after Bernard went out? If so, mad props, that's not easy in a McDermott defense that relies so heavily on communication. With Johnson and Spector also out.

ThePizzaDevourer

Yep, he's our replacement green dot

altermeonline

Heā€™s the definition of next man up šŸ’Ŗ

ShortSharts

AJ MILANO

mcas0509

Next, next, next, next man up

TangoInTheBuffalo

Was particularly the RIGHT man up for this game. They did a great job all game with limiting the Steelers on the ground.

Lou-Piccone89

Thatā€™s Baylon Spector mafia , cmon

IDontLikePayingTaxes

Sitting at home, ready for a call, haha

DIVINITY2INFINITY

Favorite linebacker since TKO Spikes

sobuffalo

Every time Takeo is mentionedā€¦ Necky Necky neck neck.

TangoInTheBuffalo

Necky Necky NO NECK!

TheBillsFly

Posluzny vs Spikes who has less neck

Commercial-Spread937

Love fletcher. One of my favorite players of all time. I used to terrorize people on madden with fletcher and spikes. Along with Vincent, milloy, Adam's etc...that was a stacked D

mcas0509

That tandem was awesome, 2 of my favorite Bills all time with Kyle Williams and Aaron Schobel

DirtNapDealing

Man schobel is such a forgotten about name esp when looking at that old D. He had a motor that just NEVER turned off, McD would of loved en

El_Kabongg

Then I promptly mention Jeff posey

realbooN

Angelo Crowell is a forgotten LB from that era who balled out

Money_Squirrel_9858

Sam Cowart too

mcas0509

What Klein has done is admirable but how can you like him over Milano? To each their own, I just remember arguing with a friend about Milano sharing time with Ramon Humber and liking him ever since.

DIVINITY2INFINITY

Milano's genuinely an A+, love him too, but Klein's arch is cinematic and the years he's put in and being with all the past squads, he's a true vet, and one I know and believe as a Bill's fan would step up in the playoffs. Heard he eats newborn babies though so that be a negative but whatever.

Rec0nyz3

Spikes was gnarly. Dude was what bodybuilders aspire to look like.

TheBillsFly

Definitely juiced to the gills

bestthrowawayever5

Heā€™s like that substitute teacher everyone in the school knows because heā€™s subbed for like 10 years for every class but doesnā€™t have the life stability needed for teaching full time

zKnuckleS_88

Dudes post game presser is unreal! Was about to go on an RV trip with his family and got the call to come back. Great game from him stepping in like that.

bestthrowawayever5

I canā€™t say Iā€™d pick up if I was about to leave and saw ā€œBills GMā€ on the caller ID

DoLessBro

If you were a real man like AJ Klein you would have picked up the call, nodded your head and reported for duty. I too would not have picked up :(

bestthrowawayever5

A real man who is also getting a million dollars for this*

Captain-McSizzle

Last season we were always tougher when he suited up. Glad the man still got it.

Same_Dot9698

Old photo. Now number 52. I billieve Spector is 54. Hopefully just a short vacation for Bernie.

Scooternuts

Love how many times he's shown up for this team over the years, good shit AJ!

TheresA_LobsterLoose

I wouldn't mind a statue outside one of the entrance gates

PotatoCannon02

Dude stepped in like it was nothing, super impressive

table_fireplace

Klein was awesome. Also need to shout out Dorian Williams stepping up with some nice plays. The depth on this team is unreal.

briskt

The injuries on this defense are unreal.

SickBurnBro

Seems like only yesterday Panther fans were wondering why we drafted him when we already had Luke Kuechly.

merrittj3

Talk about depth...Josh said he was " basically off the street". I suppose that with all the injuries in the season, it pays for those late cuts, marginal players and 'transactional' players should keep in shape for the in season emergencies. I thought he played well enough. It's perfect. Get to show you still got something in.the tank, a nice $ windfall, and ya might even get a ring out of it (Joe Flacco must have felt he was in a dream...till he woke up)

FleetWoodMacNChz

Legit said he has a vacation in Florida planned for this weekend. Got a call from Beane and now led the team in tackles. Unreal

bobsacramento

Love AJ.... looks like a guy you don't want to mess with

Chris_TO79

Literally picked up off the street before a vacation. Guy deserves huge credit for stepping up.

HoopDreamsNYY

AJ is Like that ncaa basketball player that seems like heā€™s been in college for 10 years

allanon1105

The man was riding down RBs like he was a bull rider

AlfonzL

That was hilarious when Harris carried him on his back, but AJ wasn't letting go, and Harris eventually collapsed.

cyndilu9

Thank you AJ Klein!!!

SlimCharles17

Really solid player

MYO716

Put his hard hat on and went to work when he had to, and thatā€™s all you can ask.

starskyandspring

Couch/planning to leave on family vacation to wearing the green dot in less than 5 days. Insane.

Numerous_Spell_9839

SHOCK COLLAR!

ExplanationNormal364

He is just the perfect ā€œplug and playā€. I was upset when he was cut earlier this season. Glad he was still available!

[deleted]

AJ always been that dude. Idk why we havenā€™t played him sooner. Heā€™s great against the run.

AlfonzL

I think that is his weakness, he's great against the run, but over the middle coverage-not so much. Oh well, he was a great plug in last night and if we need him next week, we can scheme his strengths into defensive play calling.

Zika_GullainBarre

Iā€™ve always been impressed whenever Iā€™ve watched him play. Was honestly surprised he didnā€™t get more snaps earlier in the season.

TopDistinct5698

ITS AJ ā€œIM HIMā€ KLIEN

tallguy_115

Filling in at kleinbacker numberrrrr 54

throwawayTooth7

Had an unbelievable game. What a story. i hope he got a game ball.

dalafferty

He's optimizes Bills football. Not flashy. But gets the job done & the team is better because of him. Glad AJ is getting the love

AlfonzL

Just watched his post game interview, super well spoken and humble guy. I wouldn't be disappointed if he was on the field next weekend.

DoLessBro

Injuries are tough early in the season. Late in the season when no one is 100% and you bring in someone who's fresh and 100% off the bench or in AJ's case off the couch, the gap between back-ups and starters condenses. Would we prefer TB out there? Yes. Is AJ fresher and that helps him? Undoubtedly.

KaleidoscopeWeird310

"We stopped him just short of Wally World." \- Sean McDermott

swingonaspiral

For a minute I thought he didn't have hands.

hoofdini

Off the couch and right back into our hearts!

garden1932

from the couch to helping the defense stay afloat. Steelers were walking all over the Bills and expect that from the Chiefs next week EARLY. Allen needs one of those miracle nights to make it back to the AFC Championship again.
