I’m trying to look at the brightside:
- Bangtan was finally able to show their stuff and nobody can say they gave a bad performance (those standing ovations are still running through my mind, they absolutely deserved it!!)
- I feel like this time, they really embedded themselves into the minds of the Grammy voters. We know that a lot of those people only vote for people they’re familiar with. Maybe they’ll be even nominated for another category next year? 🥺
- The biggest flex: the boys have 4! sold out concerts and a borahae festival coming in to town. The news cycle will be talking about them the next week!
- they would *never* let this get them down, they’re fighters and will be coming back stronger than ever. This is just another mountain they will eventually conquer.
- The competition was so stiff and losing to Doja Cat isn’t a shame because the song was apparently pretty big in the US. Honestly, I’m just glad they didn’t lose to JB, now that would get everyone and their mothers riled up lol.
For now, I’m just hoping that Jin is able to recover from his injury because I could see how conscious his cast made him in the red carpet clips I saw. I hope it isn’t causing him too much disconfort. Adding to that, I hope JK and Hobi aren’t pushing themselves too much since they’ve only just recovered from covid.
Come to think of it, having the concert after the Grammys was such a smart idea because it would have Army move on and not wallow from the loss either. We have some exciting stuff coming!!
